“I will never board my dog with anyone else!!! Kimberly is absolutely amazing and you can tell she has a deep love for dogs! I fully trust her with my fur babies!!”

“Shafiyah was absolutely wonderful! We left our pups with her before heading on a trip to the surrounding national parks. She kept us updated with photos and videos through their stay. We had an unexpected event happen on our trip needing to pick up our pups earlier than originally planned and Shafiyah offered a refund for the days of care not needed any longer. So much appreciate the care and willingness to help in our situation. We would definitely rebook as needed with this family!! 🫶🏻 Thank you!”

“Bella was so well taken care of by Jillian. I got daily pictures and updates. Bella had a wonderful time. Thank you so much. If I need another sitter I’ll definitely be rebooking.”

“Angel was amazing, we are so grateful for her watching our cat Louie at her house while we went out of town! Louie did great with Angel and made himself at home after a few day, he felt very comfortable with Angel and her home. Louie came home in great spirits and very happy. Angel was able to fit us in last minute and was very friendly, great with communication and trustworthy.”

“Lucy is the most sweetest dog person ever. She has the good vibes that dogs fall in love with her. It was my first time leaving my dog with a sitter. Not only was she comforting to my dog but to me too. I will definitely use her again. 100% Angel from Heaven. THANK YOU SO MUCH ♥️”

“Brittany and Cavan were awesome! They were able to board both of my dogs last minute when I had to go out of town for a family emergency. My dogs seemed to enjoy playing with their 3 dogs and both came home happy and well taken care of. Thank you!!”
“I would recommend Alexis to whoever wants to leave their dog with someone while they are gone because I can say that you don't have to be worried whether your dog is ok or not because your dog will be in good hands with Alexis because when I picked up my dog he was happy and she kept me informed about how he was doing and she is the person that I will continue to leave my dog with whenever I have to leave town!!!”

“We were very against the idea of leaving our dogs with a stranger. However, Katie and her husband had great reviews and was quick to answer any and all questions. She would send us updates, along with videos and pictures of our puppies. I would absolutely recommend her and plan on using her again in the near future. Thanks so much again Katie!”

“From start to finish, Allyzandria exceeded all expectations. This was my first time using Rover and boarding my dog, Milo, so I was understandably a bit nervous. She went out of her way to ease those concerns by setting up a meet-and-greet beforehand to help Milo get comfortable with her and her pups. Throughout the stay, she kept me updated daily with photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. When my return flight was delayed, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating with a later pickup. Overall, Allyzandria was fantastic! Milo had an amazing time, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Jose and Sarahi were great!!! Good communication and willingness to meet with us before boarding to go over gunther’s needs and answer their questions. He came home happy and tired from playing over there.”

“Briana took such wonderful care of our little pooch! She sent pictures and videos throughout his stay and we could tell that he was happy and comfortable. She made him feel right at home. It brought such peace of mind knowing that he was being loved and well cared for. Thank you, Briana!! ?”

“Marshall did an excellent job taking care of our new puppy while we were on vacation. He kept us updated daily and went above and beyond to make sure she was well cared for as if she were his own.”

“Bianca took great care of my boy and her pack of dogs was very friendly. It was great to see them play together. Bianca sent me great pictures while he was with her. Roman (my dog) returned in great spirits, he had a great time!”

“We had the best experience with Miguel! It was our first time leaving our pups with someone besides family and Miguel made sure to make us feel at ease. He offered a meet and greet so the dogs could get used to him and he provided pictures everyday with little updates once we were gone. Our dogs loved him and we could tell they were happy and got plenty of attention since they were they only animals in the home. Miguel’s space is great and he has a great fenced yard that my dogs loved. I really felt like I didn’t have to worry about them at all.”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
