About: I love all critters! My favorites are dogs who look like they ran into the wall- I have extra experience with flat-faced breeds and am well aware of their temperature needs. Cats have been a long time companion. We have had pets my entire life, and I house sat extensively in college, including taking care of a delightful Corgi, several farm dogs, a pair of horses, a herd of ornery and hilarious goats, a flock of chickens, and a surprisingly cuddly bearded dragon. When your pet is in my care you can expect them to be loved: all the scratches, walks, and cuddles they could want. I am more than happy to throw a ball, scratch a head, or simple sit and tell your pet about life. Due to allergies, I cannot care for rabbits or ferrets. During the school year, I work 7:30-3:15 each day, but clients inside Garden City limits can be let outside during those hours. On breaks from school, I am available nearly all day as I am a homebody. In your home, your pet is my number one focus. I will ask questions about your routine so they can have an experience that comes as close as possible to having you at home. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is your animals have a routine close to their normal one when you are away! When in my home, your furry companion is part of our family. They can get on the couch to watch movies, take a snooze on a bed, or run their zoomies out in the backyard (currently being made into a doggie playground). We tend to be home most of the time we aren’t in school, so your pet will get plenty of time with us. In the summer, we take frequent but short bathroom breaks, and water is readily available. Our central air conditioning as well as a flow of fans keep the house a cool haven. When we’re in the house, my dog-savvy daughter provides extra pets and snuggles. Her favorite thing is to curl up and read with pets. My own dogs love to play and will welcome your dog into their pack with enthusiasm. Guest cats have their run of the basement where dogs cannot go. Cats are welcome upstairs based on their comfort level. I have a cat door in the door that separates the floors, so they can choose.
About: I have had animals all my life. Dogs and cats mostly, but I also have experience with many different breeds of small animals. Like rabbits and hamsters. I have been taking care of my own pets since I was about 10, and I have helped family and friends since I was around 12. I am a certified pet groomer so I have taken and passed a pet CPR and safety course. I also have dog sitting experience. I currently do not have a set schedule as I work retail, and hours fluctuate. I am also in school at the moment. But both school and work are flexible so I do tend to have quite a bit of free time. I do not plan on doing anything boarding or dog sitting at my own home. But I have a lot of experience with walking dogs and some training experience as well
