About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.

About: I no longer do last minute bookings. I do meet and greets at the park. I will observe your dog and also how you interact with your dog. Starting 2025, I will be taking time off for my birthday, my husband’s birthday, Valentine’s Day (and weekend), the second day of the county fair and the last 3 weeks of December and the first 2 weeks of January. This includes Christmas and New Year’s. Please check my calendar for availability. Unexpected life events or situations may arise. I encourage you to take the time to get to know your sitter, do a meet and greet, schedule a day of daycare or a night of boarding to see how your sitter interacts with your dog during the booking. There has only been one Rover sitter that has met my expectations (for boarding). She doesn’t live in Yuma. Whenever I have an emergency, I have to travel 5 hours to take my dogs to her. It is worth the drive. I only accept puppies that have all their shots. I let all dogs roam freely around the house. If your dog is not potty trained or urinates out of anxiety, I will provide diapers. All dogs need to be picked up before 8pm (I rarely make exceptions depending on the situation). I wake up early and work hard all day with the fur babies so please respect my time. Please read all details. If you are new to Rover, you save $20 with promocode: LAIZAG47087 The following description is to help those who are new to Rover. Boarding-over night stay at my house Day Care-8 to 12 hours Home drop-in visits(does not include a walk)- 30 min to an hour visit to check on dog(s), administer medication, play with them, give them affection and make sure they have food and clean water. I highly recommend one hour so I can spend enough time with your dog(s) and prevent them from getting anxious. I will not book any adult dog that is expected to hold their pee for more that 8 hours during the day and for more than 12 hours at night. For puppies, my policy is not more than 4 hour during the day and not more than 7 hours at night. Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Walks -30 minutes to an hour walk (I highly recommend an hour walk if your dog is alone most of the day). This will prevent them from getting anxious. *The total cost of service includes a one time Rover fee (that money goes to Rover). *Rover takes 20% percentage of my pay. *Extended stay fee is automatically added if you drop off and pick up time are not the same (I receive 50% of that fee). This is to compensate sitters for their extra time. *Please do not send me your phone number or ask me for my personal number in an attempt to make a deal outside Rover. Rover can track the conversion. I think is important to have our meet and greet first. My rates will probably not change. I will not book anyone who is hostile, aggressive, acts entitled or doesn’t respect my time. *once you send me a booking request, I will set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet is to decide if we are a good fit for each other. Meeting is NEVER more than 20 minutes. I respect your time, please respect mine. *if everything goes well at meet and greet, we can both accept booking. Rover will ask you to enter you credit card information to process your payment. The booking becomes official once the payment goes through. Some client find it helpful to bring their dog to day care before actually boarding their dog. This will help your dog become more familiar with me and our home. This also reduces the level of anxiety. It gives me us an opportunity to get to know each other. For large breeds (60lb or more), you must book a day of daycare before actually boarding your dog. It gives me an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with me and other dogs. This is to ensure all dogs are happy and safe. The following breeds must be crate trained (I can provide crate): Pit bull (or any Pit Bull mix), Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow and Cane Corso. I will only crate them if I need to step out of the house (for a short period of time). These breeds need to be well socialized and exercised in order for me to provide daycare or boarding. *If you are an established client and you are having issues with the Rover App, I can actually request booking for you (just send me a message in our latest conversation). I can also modify your booking (up to the booking date) in case you need to make changes. *If you are running late for drop off or pick-up (30 minutes to an hour), there will be no extra charge as long as you let me know in advance. I fell in love with the whole experience. All dogs come with a message of love and compassion. I am very grateful to my clients for their respect, kindness and trust. Dog sitting has allow me to meet some of the most beautiful people in the world. ❤️ I put my heart and soul into taking care of beautiful dogs. This is not a side job or a hobby. This is my full time job and I am proud of it. I know how hard it can be to find the right person to take care of our fur friends. I had struggles of my own. I was not able to find a long term dog sitter for my dogs. Luckily, I am now able to stay home with them. I am the daughter of immigrant parents. I was born in California but raised in San Luis, Mexico. I have a masters degree in Human Relations, a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minor in Chemistry. I been married for 8 years to a very caring husband. My husband is a veteran and he loves dogs. He helps me with the dogs on the weekends. You will see him in some of the pictures. In the past, I have mainly worked with children and teens (P.E Teacher and Academic Success Advisor). I have also had other jobs such as administrative Specialist, Community Specialist, Zumba Instructor, Substitute Teacher, Academic Advisor and Testing Coordinator. During Covid, I developed my own business mentoring children and teens (for emotional support). From all the jobs I have performed, dog sitting has been the most tender to my soul. I learn how to be kind and compassionate to myself and set clear boundaries with humans. I also feel more confident since I been working with dogs. 🥰❤️ My dogs will not be part of the meet and greet. I have learned to introduce dogs slowly (as well as toys). There is no rush. Dogs have different temperaments. Some dogs act differently around their owner and some dogs need time to adjust to each other. Your dog's comfort and safety are my priority. I spend my day with the dogs. I even take them on car rides except when the weather doesn't permit it (high temperatures of 115 and above because you can’t even feel the AC in the car). I sometimes have to step out of the house to attend to a doctor's appointment, pick up a dog or walk a dog. It's never more than 2/3 hours. If your dog doesn’t like to be created, that’s totally fine with me as long as they are ok staying at home. I let dogs roam freely around the house but if you have specific instructions, I will make sure to follow your instructions. I don't take in more than 5 dogs at a time. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs. Please let me know how many updates/pictures/videos you would like to receive per day. You don’t have to respond to any of my messages/updates. I like to keep you informed of what we are doing. Please bring dog’s food. This is extremely important because some dogs develop an upset stomach due to sudden food changes. If your dog doesn't like dry food, please bring frozen food or ingredients for me to cook.

About: I really just have a love for dogs that is unmatched. And my dog Dodger will love to have a new friend. He is amazing with other dogs and loves to play all day. I work Monday through Friday, but my dog always has free roam of the house and yours will too. I spend time playing with my dog everyday around 11am so your dog will have all the attention needed. Your dogs will be welcomed and treated like my own with free range of the backyard and home. We will go on early morning walk daily.

About: I've taken care of small pups and grown dogs ever since little. My Mom's German Shepherd had a few of her own two times. We cared for these guys, pampering them until it was time to be taken off to a new home. At eight, I had my first own pup, whom I named Canelo. He was a golden brown poodle with messy hair and floppy ears. Unfortunately, after a family vacation gone away, an unreliable sitter left at home, he ran away. A few years later, I got Kiri, my loving house kitty. She's soon to be four years old now and she remains as small and strong as when she was little. I am currently not working, clearing up my schedule and making it free and flexible! I'm specially available evenings and mornings- I'm sure your pets will too. I love every single pet. I will do my very best to make them feel as safe as any pet owner would want their pet to feel. Snuggles and playtime are a must.

About: Hi, aloha. I have had animals my whole life as well as pet sat ever since I was a kid for neighbors and friends. There isn't a pet I won't care for. Currently I have 2 pitbulls at home who are my big babies. I especially love big dogs and have no issues with breeds considered to be "aggressive". I can provide refrences upon request. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, even bearded dragons and fish. Ive pet-sat professionally for the past four years and I’ve gotten the experience of working with so many wonderful people and animals. I’ve also served as a foster parent for the local animal shelter for multiple pets before animals were eligible for adoption. I’m currently working full time but I have the option to work from home and my office is centrally located in town so I have plenty of flexibility! I’m available for boarding either during the day working from home, after work or on the weekends! I can easily crate your babies if needed but don’t mind letting me wander about when I’m home and ensuring that they are comfortable. About: I’ve always taken great care of all my dogs and have even trained them! I have taken care of every different size of dogs since I was young but when I took full responsibility of my animals I was 15. I’ve taken care of small dogs and big dogs, they have all mostly been my families’ animals. About: Growing up I had dogs. Petting them was no problem with me because I’m really great with dogs and taking care of them is no problem. Starting 5 years ago my sisters have asked me to take care of their dogs for the same reason. Also because I volunteered and I love them. Right now I am flexible all day and all night. I’ll let you know if anything changes. But even if anything changes I’ll try too still be available. I live in an apartment which is a place where I’ll keep small dogs inside. Dogs never get bored here because I always take them walking and play with them when we get to the parks and when we’re inside home.
