“Catie-Lynn was amazing with my injured cat! He was hurt right before I left to go on a trip. She was careful to follow my instructions and kept a close eye on my cat while his tail healed. About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

Shelly's dogs are great and very friendly, our dogs liked them very much. Her property had a great deal of room for the dogs to run and play. Our dogs enjoyed being with Shelly's kids as well.”
