About: I’ve always had a passion for nature and animals you can find me taking my dog out on a trail hike every weekend! I’ve had multiple dogs in my life and know how to handle a variety of breeds (border collies, terriers, and larger dogs.) Animals are angels in my eyes and I hope to be able to take care of your angel and give you peace of mind and a carefree day! I currently attend LSU, so my schedule fluctuates depending what my classes require or if I have a test scheduled or even acting performance. I’m highly committed to my studies in wildlife conservation and resource management! I prefer not to host dogs in my house due to being a college student, but the app requires a response to be a sitter.

About: From a young age I have always loved dogs from any size and any age. I love everything from puppy kisses to cuddles from more elder dogs and all the playtime in between. I also enjoy watching the dog grow up and being with them through many stages in their life! I am currently enrolled in college three days a week and have lots of free time outside of schoolwork to care and love on your fur babies. I will treat your dogs like they are my own. I plan to follow your routine with them to keep them as comfortable as possible while their owners are away.
About: I’m 18 and home for the summer, and I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, having had 9 cats and 6 dogs with varying ages, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I take my dogs for walks every day around noon to make sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. I also feed my dogs and cats twice a day (morning & night) and stick to a consistent routine to keep them happy and healthy. I’m home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their environment. I follow all instructions closely and keep pets on their normal routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I maintain a clean and safe space, pay attention to their behavior, and make sure they feel relaxed and loved. I treat every pet like they’re my own.
About: I’ve had animals all my life from dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, turtles, ferrets, and many others! I have a lab and a cat. I have had almost every breed from small to large. I just thought with my free time, I could help others care for their pets while away. I have a lot of free time. I do have 4 kids all in sports, but I will keep my schedule updated as much as possible. If your pet is an inside animal, they will be welcomed in my home. If they are outside, I do have a wireless fence and kennels if needed. I live down a dead end road.

About: I've taken care of many different types of dogs throughout the years. All different sizes and personalities. I am especially patient and positive, and I'm looking forward to meeting new canine buddies. My schedule is almost always in a flexible state. The only exception is seeing my nephews and niece safely off to or home from school. Consider me available anytime except 6am to 9am then again at 3pm to 4:30pm on weekdays. I have a good portion of back yard fenced in with a gazebo for my dogs when they need to go outside, and they are never far from treats and water.
About: I am a full time veterinary technician and I love it! I couldn't have asked for a more rewarding job. While you are away you can rest assured that I will responsibly care for your pet and follow your care instructions. I am knowledgeable about what signs or symptoms to watch for and will be monitoring him or her for any issues. I've worked with animals my entire life. From rescuing stray cats as a child to competing in equestrian shows as a teen. I've always felt a special connection with animals and felt compelled to help them however I could. I want you and your pet to have a stress free experience while you are away. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies.
About: Hi, I'm Terrie! I'm the person your pets will accidentally like more than you and may file a formal complaint when I leave. Don't worry—they'll still be thrilled when you come home! I'm basically a part-time butler, snack distributor, belly-rub technician, professional poop scooper, personal paparazzi and a humble servant to whichever four-legged CEO is currently in charge. If it has paws, claws, wings, or a personality bigger than its body, I'm probably going to adore it. Pet care is truly a family affair in our home. My family is very hands-on and shares my love of animals, which means your pets get plenty of extra attention, affection, care, and at least three separate rounds of “who’s the cutest?” commentary. I’m the proud human of 3 huskies, 10 cats, 2 chameleons, and a fish crew - so chaos, cuddles, and a little bit of fur are basically my normal. In our house, dishing out treats is an Olympic sport, and I am absolutely going for gold. I’ve mastered the art of negotiating with pups and earning cat approval. My mission? Keep tails wagging, whiskers twitching, and pet parents completely worry-free. I'll send plenty of updates, lots of adorable photos, and return your pets happy, loved, and only slightly convinced they've hired me as their new personal assistant. New Pet Friends = Mandatory Meet & Sniff! 🐾 I have one tiny rule: every new pet friend gets a meet & greet before we make things official. I like to let your pet decide if I'm worthy of joining their staff, and hopefully earning a tail wag, nose boop, or dramatic cat stare of approval. It's the perfect time to learn their routines, favorite treats, secret hiding spots, and any adorable quirks—so when booking day arrives, we're already best buds! Travel Policy: If you're more than 15 miles away, there's a $10 travel fee per visit will be added to help keep my gas tank as happy as your pets. I have an embarrassingly open schedule. Rain? No problem. Sunshine? Even better. I'll happily brave the weather for potty breaks, neighborhood adventures, epic games of fetch, or a cuddle session worthy of an Olympic medal. Your pets set the agenda—I'm just their very enthusiastic assistant. Life loves to throw curveballs, so I do my best to accommodate last-minute schedule changes whenever I can. Whether you're stuck at work, planning a spontaneous getaway, or your meeting magically turned into "one more hour," I've got you covered. Big, small, fluffy, scaly, feathery, or suspiciously crunchy—I love them all. I've cared for everything from tarantulas and snakes to rabbits and hedgehogs, so I don't scare easy. Your pet will be treated like royalty, spoiled beyond reason, and lovingly convinced this is their all-inclusive vacation resort. Belly rubs? Unlimited. Snacks? Duh. Personal fan club? Already formed. I'll happily accept my role as their humble servant while they run the household.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I’m 29 years old, born and raised in Louisiana, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, not just a job or side hustle. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets because they’re family. I know the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats of different personalities, ages, and energy levels — from playful puppies and kittens to older pets that need extra patience and gentle care. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them attention, affection, playtime, and a calm environment so they feel secure and happy. I want pet owners to have peace of mind knowing their babies are in caring, reliable hands. I’m currently working part time so I would have plenty of time for your loved ones. I’m available Monday-Sunday Mornings at 8am to 12pm . Evenings 6:30 to 8pm. I’m able to provide pets with a comfortable indoor space in my spare bedroom, giving them a calm and safe environment while in my care. I also have a spacious backyard where pets can enjoy fresh air and outdoor time safely on adjustable leashes, allowing them room to move around comfortably and stretch their legs based on their needs and activity level.
About: I have a long history of pet sitting for family and friends. I love giving pets and attention to my furry friends. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.
About: Since I was about 11 years old, I’ve been trusted with pet-sitting over multiple nights, dropping in to feed/let dogs out to use the bathroom, given them medicine and baths, as well as many more duties. I used to work at a dog daycare for about half a year, which provided me with better experience and knowledge centering dog body language and safety. I’m currently working part-time, since I’m enrolled in college and have other responsibilities to focus on. I’d be able to easily fit in pet care to my daily routine, as I’m very task-oriented and capable of completing duties quickly and efficiently. I don’t own any pets of my own currently. However, when I am in a client’s home, I spend most of my time with their pets and make sure they are let out every 2-4 hours (depending on their condition and/or age). I also like to spend time cleaning if possible, as I like to keep my client’s homes clean.
About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and mini pigs for almost 10 years. I have a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekend. I will keep your fur baby safe and happy! I am currently a full time student. I have a flexible schedule for your pets needs. I can do house sitting, dog walking, drop ins during the week and weekends. I grew up with dogs and cats then eventually a mini pig. I currently have two cats that love to be played with and needs constant attention. When I had a dog and a mini pig I would take them on walks and play fetch with them. I would overall give good care and keep them from being bored.

About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, often stepping in for walks, feeding, and daily care when they're out of town. I'm dependable, detail oriented, and I make sure each dog's routine is followed so they stay comfortable and stress free while their owners are away. At home I have a mini schnauzer and a sheepadoodle, so I'm very familiar with both smaller, high energy personalities and larger, playful dogs. Managing both has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read different temperaments quickly. I'm comfortable adjusting to each dog's needs and making sure they get the right mix of exercise, attention, and care. I work in dental sales, which gives me a flexible schedule that I can easily work around pet care needs. I’m able to stop by for walks, feedings, and check-ins throughout the day and adjust my schedule as needed. This flexibility also allows me to take on regular or last-minute bookings and be reliable for pets and their owners. I follow each pet’s routine and instructions closely to keep things consistent and stress free. I handle feeding, walks, and basic care in the client’s home, and make sure pets get the attention and exercise they need based on their normal habits, personality, and daily routine.
About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.
About: Hello! My name is Zoe and ever since I was a kid I have loved pets. I grew up on a farm with dogs and many cats, along with chickens and ducks, so I am accustomed to having the responsibility of taking care of animals. Currently I have one dog of my own, she’s a blue healer named Delilah :) I don't have much professional experience but family and friends always rely on me to watch their dogs and cats anytime it is needed. I work most week days but my job is very flexible so I’m always happy to accommodate your pets schedule. Feel free to reach out! I’m currently living in an apartment so it is a bit difficult to accommodate other animals in such a small living space, though, when in clients homes I always respect their animals schedule!

About: I love being engaged and active with each and every fur baby I’m blessed to watch. I love seeing their individual personalities blossom and grow! I can travel if needed. I create my schedule around my clients wants and needs. I try my best to be as flexible as possible because life happens to all of us. I am very willing to travel beyond the 60 mile radius allowed. I make sure to stay on any established schedule they may have and make sure that each and every one has the love and affection they so deserve.
About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I can remember. I grew up with at least 3-4 dogs in my household at all times, volunteered at the local animal shelter to help take care of the overflow of dogs, fostered a litter of puppies, and of course the occasional dog sitting for a neighbor or family friend. I am currently working 2 part time jobs at the moment, but they usually include short days and hours. I am mostly available from mid afternoon to nighttime on any given day, especially weekends! Schedule is subject to change weekly. I have a big kennel in my home if it’s ever needed. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and other equipment like poop bags, leashes, or harnesses.
About: Hi my name is Olivia! I’m 25 years old and I am looking to take the absolute best care of your pets! I’ve had experience fostering kittens and also taken care of a boxer for 3 years every day while nannying. I also have experience taking care of a dog with special medical needs. I have a huge heart for dogs (and cats) of all sizes! I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own! I will always go the extra mile to make sure your fur babies feels safe and loved. House sitting, walking, bathing, feeding, weekend boarding, playing, and check ins are what I am willing to do. If you have any special requests you can just let me know! I hope that you will consider me when looking for a lovable caretaker for your babies :) I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. If you give me a few days in advance that would be ideal. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. And I will follow any and every request given to me by the owner.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
