“Bobbie went over and above with all my pets. Oliver is blind and still acts like a puppy so he can be a handful but Bobbie and her family treated him like one i or f their own. I could tell that he was super comfortable in their care. She took the best possible care of Dottie and Toby as well. Bobbie was awesome with the daily pics and updates and was very flexible with our vacation schedule. We’ll be using her on our next vacation for sure.”
“Destinee took very good care of my pups while I was away. She stayed with them overnight and sent me pics and updates. Highly recommend her!”
“Aspen has only ever shown love to any animal she has encountered. There isn’t a dog, cat, turtle, squirrel, that doesn’t get pointed out by her and states that she wants to pet. She thoroughly enjoys playing with an energetic puppy, but also enjoys taking a short, leisurely stroll with a pup up in their years. She shows no fear of a dog after being introduced and has confirmed a positive interaction with the dog. I would trust her to watch my puppy any time!”
“Aliza was wonderful! She watched Milo at the last minute when we had a cancellation of another Rover sitter. Will definitely use her again to watch our pup and would highly recommend!”
“Dillon did an amazing Job looking after Spence. He did everything we asked of him and kept us updated with regular texts and pictures. Dillon left our apartment very tidy and was very respectful of our home. Thank you Dillon.”
About: Over the decades, I've ended up watching all sorts of pets, from fairly young puppies to elderly hounds and everything in between. It's always a treat to spend time with them, see how they tick, and become buddies with each one over a week(end)! I've take care of medically-dependent pets, pets with severe anxiety, pets that "don't like other people", indoor/outdoor pets, and pets that honestly just want to be left alone and coexist with you. Predominantly, my experience is from watching and interacting with my family's animals, but during the pandemic I started branching out to watching the pets of friends as well. Currently, I am available full-time to watch any pets. My routine leaves almost complete freedom to schedule pet sitting whenever I choose to, especially around most holidays. What commitments and obligations I do have coming up (such as things like online classes) I can do from anywhere that has an internet connection, so for the foreseeable future pet sitting fits very well in my life. First and foremost, I try to find out as much information as I can about the important things/emergency things in the household: contact numbers for the owner, perhaps one for a trusted family member or neighbor nearby (as a backup), veterinarian contact, location of fire extinguishers, etc. Then I'll take a list of everything that is routine or mandatory for the pet: medication, foods dos and don'ts, any activities that have to happen at a certain time, etc. I'll also note aby particulars of the pet, such as things it is known for disliking, perhaps favorite toys or activities, habits, etc. Past this, I'll try to get a list of what the house rules would be for the given scene. Do they have prearranged sleeping areas for the sitter? How has food been arranged? Are they leaving you a key? Do they have other things that need tending, such as plants? Are there things that are off-limits, such as specific rooms or shelves? Is the house haunted by a small Victorian child who will inevitably wake me up at 3 am? Past the
“Rachel did a great job with Romeo, he has some health restrictions and she came to meet him first and understand his limitations. He was not stressed at all when we came home and did great. Thank you Rover for arranging this.”
“Kami is a very responsible young lady. She loves all the animals. She knows how to take care of animals very well. She currently has 2 dogs at home, one of which takes 3 different pills for his bad heart and eye meds twice a day. She is responsible for doing this for him when he gets fed. She also has 2 cats that she is responsible for feeding and taking care of their litter boxes. She held 2 jobs while going to high school. She continued to work one of those jobs this summer while out of college and babysat daily for her younger cousins. They also had 2 dogs that she helped take care of when she was there.”
“Nadia was a life saver! We had an emergency situation and had a last minute request and Nadia was very accomodating. We are very thankful! She took good care of our dog! Thank you!”
“Margaret is so caring and attentive to our English Bulldog, Brownie Cooper. Brownie Cooper has an enlarged esophagus, so he requires some extra TLC, and Margaret is able to provide what he needs, so he is healthy and happy. Brownie Cooper loves Margaret and we are grateful for her!”
“Veronica was great! She took excellent care of our furry children and our home! She was prompt, responsive and sent pictures of our kiddos when we were missing them! I would definitely recommend her!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles (since I own a leopard gecko) since I was a baby pretty much, I had a border collie growing up and we have always been bonded since I was born until he pasted. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and love their babies. I always have wonderful reviews!!! I do have another job so sometimes I can be hard making time for short notice sits, but it basically fits in my schedule whenever, as long as I get ahead of time notice!! I typically care many different ways for my clients, I pretty much just do whatever they ask of me to do because every animal has its own routine. I do all services I am not picky. I do the basics like letting the dog out to potty, play ball, feed them/fill up their water w/ new water, take them on walks, love them, and many more:)

“Mackenzie was very communicative through out the whole process and worked with us to get the right set up for us as this was our first time using Rover or hiring a sitter. She did a great job taking care of our two cats, I would almost say Starbuck missed her when we came back. Mackenzie sent cute pics and gave clear updates every time she visited. It was my first experience with hiring a sitter and I can say I haven't even felt that at ease about everything using friends. She was fantastic and we will definitely check with her again should we need another sitter in the future!”
“Lynn is amazing with animals, she always does whatever she can to make the pets life better than hers. She is very patient and is always treating pets as if they were her own family!”

“Abby R. is an exceptional pet sitter! I had the pleasure of working with her at a boarding facility, where I witnessed her unparalleled dedication and love for animals. Abby always went above and beyond to provide the best possible care for the dogs, ensuring they felt comfortable and loved during their stay. In fact, I trust her so much that she's taken care of my three large dogs, each with their disabilities, several times while I was on vacation. It's heartwarming to see how happy and excited they are to see her, sometimes even more than us! Abby's genuine passion for animals shines through in every interaction, and her professionalism and attention to detail are truly commendable. I highly recommend Abby R. to anyone in need of a caring and reliable pet sitter. She's definitely a ten out of ten!”
