About: Hi my name is Desaray! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for many different breeds of dogs and cats growing up. Growing up,I also pet sat for family friends, caring for their dogs as well as other animals, which helped me become comfortable with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it's going on fun walks, playing fetch, keeping them active, or simply giving them lots of love and attention, I make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. My goal is to give every pet plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care so you can feel confident they're in good hands while you're away. I currently am not working but am actively searching. So right now my schedule is free everyday. That may change if I am able to get another job! When taking care of my pets or anyone else’s I am always making sure safety is the number one priority. I will do whatever you need me to do and more while taking care of your animals!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From energetic dogs and affectionate cats to birds, reptiles, and small animals, I’m comfortable providing attentive, compassionate care for a wide variety of pets. As someone who shares my own home with multiple animals, I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, maintaining clean environments, and giving animals the patience, attention, and affection they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with a beloved member of your family. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I’ll always treat your animals with the same kindness, respect, and dedication I give my own! Pet care doesn’t just fit into my daily and weekly routine—it IS my daily and weekly routine! With five dogs, six cats, a hamster, a blue-tongue skink, fish, and 36 chickens of my own, caring for animals is a huge part of my everyday life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! My days revolve around feeding, cleaning, exercising, playing with, and making sure every animal in my care is happy, healthy, and comfortable. Managing a household with so many different species has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, attention to detail, and understanding each animal’s individual needs. Caring for animals isn’t something I have to squeeze into my schedule—it’s a lifestyle I genuinely love. Providing that same level of dedication, affection, and dependable care to your pets comes naturally to me! Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities when caring for animals. With a household full of pets of my own, I understand how important it is to provide a clean, secure, loving environment where every animal feels safe and respected. When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize supervision, maintaining familiar routines, and making sure each animal has the space, attention, and care they need. I understand that introductions between animals should never be rushed, and I’m mindful of individual personalities, boundaries, and comfort levels. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both their pets and their property with the utmost respect. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any special care requirements. I also pay close attention to securing doors, gates, and other potential escape routes. I believe communication is an important part of building trust, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind!

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
