“I can’t say enough good things about Marlies stay. Tons of communication and pictures. Lots of great buddies to play with. She was so well taken care of. It is wonderful not to have to worry when we are away. We are repeat customers and will book for future vacations. I can’t thank you enough !”

“Laura watched our treeing walker coonhound while we went to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend. She sent regular pictures so we knew Copper was doing well and having fun! She was also very accommodating about drop off and pickup times, which was truly appreciated. Also, Copper is still young and can be quite a handful and she was patient and loving with him. I HIGHLY recommend Laura! Thank you!”
“Jahada is just wonderful! She treats my dog like one of her own. I always know he’s in good hands while he’s in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Amber was fantastic with our puppy Mugsy. She answered any questions we had and sent pictures and videos throughout his stay. Will 100 percent use her again when we need a sitter for our little pug!”

“Lorraine does an amazing job. She is so sweet and kind. I have taken my boy to other sitters where he seemed to be anxious right off the bat. With Lorraine he immediately was calmed by her presence. She is one of the best rover sitters in my opinion and I highly recommend. Thank you again Lorraine. :)”

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
About: I’m a proud dog mom to a Mini Goldendoodle who turns 2 on June 28. She’s the sweetest, friendliest little girl and truly a part of my family. Spending every day with her has taught me so much about the love, patience, and attention that dogs need to feel happy and secure. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and I genuinely enjoy being around them. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, giving extra cuddles, or just keeping them company, I love making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. What sets me apart is that I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I know my dog is my baby, and I treat every pet with that same level of love, kindness, and care. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and right at home with me. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know how reassuring it is to see your furry family member happy and having fun Pet care fits easily into my routine because I already spend my days caring for my own dog. Adding another dog to the mix doesn't feel like work to me, it's something I genuinely enjoy. I'm used to daily walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and all the little things that come with being a dog parent. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my priority. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets will have a clean, safe environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I make sure doors and gates are secure and never leave pets unattended in situations that could put them at risk.
“Charlie had two great weeks with Jack and Joanne! He lives it at their farm and is comforting to know they live him back. Thanks again! See you again in September.”

“Michelle is the best. They take such good care of my little boy Jasper. He gets all excited when I tell him he is going to see Michelle. He always as such a good time. Michelle is always so accommodating, I won't use anyone else.”

“Glenn took fantastic care of our pups while we were away. It was reassuring to know that they were in good hands while we were out on vacation, would definitely recommend having him watch our fur babies in the future!”

“Jennifer and Jon were fantastic!! Our 8 month old King Charles Spaniel was taken care of and treated like family. We were sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend and were kept updated about Maisy’s activities. It was wonderful to go away for the weekend and have no worries that our puppy was in great hands. We will definitely have our precious puppy stay with them again!! We give Jennifer and Jon our highest recommendation without reservation!!”
“Joann and Angelina were amazing with our dog! My Sully is a very anxious pup and attached to his humans. This makes it hard to leave him with someone new. Joann and Angelina made this difficult thing to do so much easier! Joann texted me throughout the day and even sent me some pictures to assure me that he was okay. Oh and their dog Remi is such a sweet boy and loves people and was so good with accepting my dog as well. Our day went longer than we expected and Joann and Angelina were willing to help out longer than expected. I am so thankful to them for taking care of my dog and will definitely book with them again when needed.”

“Fatima took care of our 75lb high energy Pitbull like it was her very own dog. We left for a vacation for 16 days and Fatima took over as both Mom and Pack Leader. She walked, fed, gave medication, cleaned ears, bathed, played with, etc. We got photos and vids daily, which gave us peace of mind that Leo was in great care. Highly Recommend!”

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
