About: My name is Molly and I am an Ed Tech/BHP with availability and energy in the summer months. I have a four year old son and a ten year old dog, Zoe. Also popular in our household are Gracie, the seven year old bearded dragon, and Gus, the beta fish. This summer, I have an especially flexible schedule, but am happy to support you and your pet’s needs all year around. Although it is not my primary career focus, I have been involved in pet care for 20 years as a source of outside income and great passion. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss things further and determine if I would be a good fit for your pet family. I am currently working during the day, but am available in then afternoons or for boarding. I have summers off and would be available all day/week for walks, hikes, swims, playtime, and long term stays. My dog stays in the yard at the end of our private road. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. My client base is steadily growing and I am excited to see where this venture takes me! I am reliable and committed to providing excellent service for my clients. If you want a pet caretaker you can count on who will treat your animals as well as their own, I'm your gal! I work part time as a BHP and I try to be as flexible as possible. My schedule changes depending on the time of year. Currently I work with my human client from 7:15 am - 8:15am and 2:30pm - 5:30pm on weekdays and am off on weekends. I take care of animal clients all days of the week. Please message me and I'll do my best to work something out. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, bad things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dog around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety.

At any gathering, you'll find me petting the closest dog. I love dogs and make sure to greet every single one I see! I cannot house pets in my home, due to my landlord having a no pet policy. However, I will ensure that your animal is being safety taken care of in your home or if we are out for a walk. Geoffery visited us to meet the dogs and learn how to take care of things a couple of weeks before he cared for them, which was good to ensure it would all work out. While we were gone we received a few updates, which was nice and reassuring, and when we got home our dogs were tired and happy! Geoffery had taken them on so many walks and made sure all their needs were met. We will definitely request to book again for our next family wedding!”
