“Sonja was great in every way with our 4 month old puppy! She was extremely attentive and very detail oriented. She also communicated very well and sent daily updates and photos. We hope to have her back to pet sit again soon!”

“Did a great job managing our house full of animals while we were away for two weeks. We came home to happy healthy animals, and I could tell they'd been well-cared for!”

“Paul did an awesome job taking care of our elderly dog. It was difficult to leave her with a new dog sitter (our usual sitter got a new job) but after meeting Paul and seeing that Rheyah was immediately comfortable with him, we felt confident that he would take good care of her. Paul made sure that Rheyah took her medicine multiple times per day, fed her a special diet and even gave her a partial bath every other night to treat her chronic skin condition. He also took her for 2 walks per day when the weather permitted. Paul’s frequent photos and descriptions of what he and Rheyah were doing helped to calm my anxiety about leaving her with someone new. Not only did Paul take care of Rheyah, but he also fed my fish and managed to keep my not-so-healthy plants alive! We are very grateful that Paul’s profile came up on Rover and that he agreed to take care of Rheyah so that we could attend our granddaughter’s 1st birthday. We highly recommend Paul to anyone who needs a conscientious caring pet sitter!”

“We have had Shannon dog sit a couple of times over the last month and couldn’t be more grateful of her great care! We will definitely continue to use Shannon for drop in visits and dog sitting in the future, as needed. So nice to come home to have our dog content and happy!”

“There are no existing words to describe what a wonderful experience we had with Faith. Not only did she provide loving care to our pups but also to our home. It speaks volumes about her character. Thank you, Faith!”

“Katelyn was friendly and easy to communicate with. She sent us updates and pics of our pups every other day while we were on vacation (she also seemed respectful of wanting to let us truly enjoy our time away). The house was left very clean when we returned and our boys were happy and loved!”

About: I am a caring and responsible pet caretaker. A pet is a family member; therefore, making sure they are fed appropriately, walked accordingly, and given the attention they deserve is top priority. I have had three dogs of my own, all rescued, so knowing how to gain trust and provide a comforting environment is my specialty. I also have two cats that have enriched my world as well! I know how to handle both anxious and energetic dogs; each needs the same amount of care and attention, yet knowing how to provide this in a unique and effective manner is important to me. I treat all pets with respect and provide the care and service they need, and I hope to provide this care for your animals as well! Compared to other sitters, my schedule is pretty flexible as I do not work a regular 9 to 5! I am back in school to pivot my career; therefore, I am available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings! (depending on the day and class schedule) At this time, I cannot offer pet accommodations in my own home. With my own pets, I stick to a daily routine for my labradoodle (Dora) and two cats (Candy and Tilo). Regular feeding times, regular walks, and of course, keeping their designated areas clean and tidy!

“Diane was a fantastic dog sitter! My pup can be shy around people and dogs he is not familiar with. Diane had Kona sitting on her lap minutes after she arrived to watch him. She took him out for walks multiple times in the 24 hours she was with him. She sent pictures showing how relaxed Kona was with her. I felt like a family member was watching him! I will certainly be contacting Diane in the future to watch my pup! She is a true dog lover!”

“Emma was AMAZING! 3 Great Danes and she handled their clumsy-ness and lap dog tenancies without a hitch. My stupid dogs ran off to the neighbors house and had an incident with the neighbor dog. She handled the situation perfectly and kept my dogs, the neighbor and their dog, and myself feeling safe about the incident the rest of booking. When I got home and apologized again to my neighbor, they said that Emma did great the whole time and were impressed with the way she handled things. 10/10 would recommend Emma!!”

“Ju is my Go-To sitter for Jerry! She is incredibly attentive to all of Jerry’s needs. I received a chart of all of his feedings, walks, and even watered my plants while I was gone for 8 days. It was so nice to have someone stay in my home so Jerry was more comfortable and I can completely trust Ju. She exceeded my expectations! Ann D.”

About: I love walking and with a dog it's even better! I enjoy being outside and spending time with dogs. I will treat your dog as if it were my own, give him/her special attention, and a walk/home while you are away. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I enjoy spending time with other people's dogs, taking them for walks, and giving your dog love and attention. I have had experience walking dogs and taking care of dogs throughout my life. I have 2 rescue dogs are both beagles. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and love taking them for hikes in the woods, on trails in state parks, and around the neighborhood. I am available for all the services Rover offers. I can board/watch your dogs at my home. I would love to meet you and your dog! I am a teacher and love coming home to my 2 dogs. We spend a lot of time outside and go for two walks a day. I have a fenced in backyard that is about a 1/2 of an acre. Our fence is 6 feet high. I have two dogs myself, so we have lots of treats and toys as well as extra dog beds. I am also a foster for the Humane Society, Midwest BREW, and Fluffy Dog Wellness & Rescue. I have fostered over 20 dogs in my home of all different breeds and ages. I find it really rewarding!

About: I’ve always had animals growing up! I’ve done in-house pet sitting for years. I’ve taken care of dogs as big as mastiffs to puppies. I have also done in home sitting for cats and horses as well! We have two dogs in our home and 1 cat. I am able to do house sitting depending on my husbands schedule. During the fall especially October and November I am usually gone on the weekends for deer hunting. My husband would be home and available for boarding during that time! I am currently working full time during the week 7:30-4. My husband works from home on Wednesdays and Fridays as well and is able to assist with your pets needs! I am available weekdays before and after work. Drop off/Pick up on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays must be after 4:30 as we are both in the office those days. On Wednesday and Friday's my husband Charlie works from home and is available all day for drop off/pick up. I am also available weekends for all your animals needs! I currently have a 6 year old female lab, a 4 month old puppy, 1 cat and a horse. Growing up I have had experience with many types of dog breeds and cats! I also have experience with giving pets oral medications.

“Hannah was an excellent house sitter and cat sitter. She was great at communicating with us and sending us photos of our cat. The house was left clean and we know our cat appreciated her company during our absence. He told us as much, the way cats do. I would recommend Hannah to anyone needing such services.”

About: Giving all the snuggles, kisses and attention your lovable pets need. Caring for pets like they are my own. I like teaching the dogs how to do tricks. I have open availability and can work with you! I am available Sundays all day and the rest of the week varies. I am excited to work with you I will make sure to keep a close eye on your pets. Make sure that they are safe 100% and go outside with them when they have to use the restroom.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 19. We love to go on hikes, cuddle and crochet on the couch, and each snacks. Having a dog at such a young age made me realize how much work a pet is. I love the calming nature of dogs and have patience with anything they throw at me. I work full time during graphic design and marketing so nights, weekends, and mornings work best for me. I love hiking, yoga and crocheting. In the summer I spend most of my time outdoors, so if your dog loves hikes we’d be perfect for each other. I will not bring your dog to my house since my furry friend doesn’t get along with other dogs. I will always make sure they are hooked up inside the house before and after a walk. I will always grab small training treats incase walks or strangers are not your dogs favorite.

About: As I said in my headline, I work from home so it is easy for me to pack my stuff up and come care for your pets while you are away. If they will be staying with me they will get spoiled with attention all day. Our backyard is not fenced in but we have a line off our back door from when we had a dog for when nature calls. I am also freely able to let them out for potty breaks while working. My work schedule is very flexible to take your pets for walks or stop in. I currently watch my friends animals when they are away. One household is 2 dogs and 2 cats and the other is just a cat. One of the dogs I have experience administering medication with and dealing with a anxious dog. I also frequently watch a families Boxer when they have errands to run or want to go out for the evening.

Hana C.
“Hana has been my go-to pet caregiver for the last 2 years ever since I adopted my cats, however, I have known her far longer. When caring for my cats, Milo and Tululah, she handles their attitudes (aka "tortitudes") with grace and good humor. She is attentive, spends time with them playing, and maintains contact with me throughout her stay by sending silly videos, photos, and general updates. On the few occasions she has had concerns about their behaviors, she has reached out immediately and taken action (thankfully, there have never been any emergencies or severe action needed, just more tortitude and tantrums from Tululah). She has taken the time to get to know their personalities and celebrates with me when they want to cuddle with her. Hana is an excellent candidate and I highly recommend her!”
