About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I've taken care of two dogs. I helped my parents with training our dogs and have also helped with a senior dog I am a recent college graduate just looking to take care of some pups! About: I currently work from home for a family business, but I am looking to expand my own business and passion - taking care of animals! I worked for doggy daycares and boarding facilities for 3.5 years, ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. I have administered medications, completed dog handling courses, and grooming training as well. This led me to groom professionally full-time for 2 years after college. About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. Although we only had him for about a year before he went on to begin his important work, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of his journey and to help prepare him for the life-changing role he would have. When my husband and I bought our first home, one of the very first things we did was adopt the sweetest girl named Kora. She filled our home with joy, laughter, muddy paw prints, and unconditional love for ten unforgettable years. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things we've ever done, but I wouldn't trade a single moment we had together. Because of these experiences, I know that dogs aren't "just pets"—they're family. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'll care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd want someone to give my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy until you're back home. Beginning August 1st, my scheduled will be wide open. I have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 11 years...and for 6 of those years I have owned my own business. I have recently decided to retire and close my business. I feel that pet sitting is the perfect mix of flexibility while also scratching the itch to spend all my time with fluff balls! I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. About: I have grown up with several animals my whole life. Currently I have many animals, including 5 dogs and 4 cats, and have been through countless of puppy and kitten stages as well as seniority stages of life. I’m very familiar with potty training, crate training, and even simple commands such as sit, down, and paw. I also have experience raising small animals (such as hamsters, chinchillas, rabbits) and exotics (snakes, sugar gliders, birds). I’m available on Thursdays all day until about 5:30 pm as I have class at 6 pm. On Fridays I am usually available all day unless I have a prior babysitting commitment! I can follow any instructions given to me about how to care for your pet in your home. Whether that’s hanging out at home, taking them for a walk, simply letting them outside in a fenced in yard, or having a fun outing at the dog park!
