About: Hello! My name is Teresa! I work full-time on the weekdays but I have weekends free for dog sitting. I have been a dog sitter for a few of my neighbors in the past for fun. Your dog(s) will have a nice house to run around in, we'll take long walks around the neighborhood, going to the Bowers beach, playing in the sand. Since its only me in the house, they will have my undivided attention and love. In the summer, they will be cool, and in the winter, they will be warm by the fireplace. About: I’ve been raised in a household with animals for over 10 years. I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter and I work part time as a dog groomer! About: I have been fortunate to have had pets since I was a child: Cats, dogs, parrots, and reptiles. All of my pets have been rescues. Since my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was from a puppy mill, she had numerous health problems, resulting in paralysis later in life. But, she was able to adapt to a doggie quad cart and absolutely loved going for long walks in a stroller. While she required a great deal of hands-on care for many years, she lived a pain-free, long and happy life. My dog, Pepper, is a playful, energetic, loving black lab mix, who was taught that the little dogs are always the boss! She loves nothing more than to be around other dogs. My Beardie, Otis, loved baths, and he enjoyed spending time looking out the window, watching all of the activity, and being outside in the sunshine in the summertime. Devastatingly, he passed away, but I kept his vivarium and lamps with the hopes that I will be able to pet sit other beardies. I am experienced giving medications, and I have had training in working with dogs. Animals make my heart happy! I find that it is much less stressful on your baby if he/she can come and visit at least twice prior to being left here for the first time. Preferably, if one of those visits is one day of daycare. I pet sit when I can be available full time, so your pup will be taken care of by me personally at all times, not left alone, not left outside or in a kennel or in a basement, and not left in a child’s or teen’s care while I work. House sitting and boarding rates cover a 24 hour period of time, so you are not charged additional daytime pet sitting rates. I will shower your baby with attention and provide endless opportunities for play. Depending upon the weather and your pup’s normal activity level, we will walk for 1 to 3 miles twice per day plus go out for potty breaks every 2-3 hours, or we will take lots of short walks. I always use a leash when outdoors. It is very important for me to know if your dog has any triggers or becomes aggressive in certain situations, so that I can avoid those things. I will always have your baby's best interest at heart. This is not a kennel, nor is it a kennel-like set up. Rain or shine, or sleet or snow, I take the dogs for walks. Therefore, it is very important that your dog is leash trained and friendly. If your dog requires leash, potty, and/or behavioral training to stop marking, there will be an additional $10 per day charge for each day that it happens. I will do my best to get your dog leash trained well enough so that I am not yanked down the stairs and dragged down the street, but the training duration depends upon the dog. The same goes for pottying and marking. I will do my best, but please, for the sake of your dog, practice these things regularly throughout their lives.

I have experience with special needs animals, should your fur baby require any special care. My work schedule is stable and I know my schedule a month or two in advance. I am flexible with same day bookings and am willing to accommodate late visits. I will do my best to work with any situation. Just let me know if you have any special requests and it will get done!

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs, I walk them, feed them and bath them if needed. I have taken care of dogs from puppies to senior care and providing medicine. I currently work full time with a variety on my schedule and very flexible, I love spending time with companions. Im passionate about giving the animals undivided attention. In my home I have a chain and an electric fence so my dog is provided the whole yard. I also have a crate if needed. I prefer to do in clients home to reduce the stress on the animal.

About: I’ve had all sorts of animals growing up, and have cared for many pets of all ages. Specifically, we’ve had dogs since they were puppies until they passed at ages 13*. As well as cats that we got when they were kittens. I am very receptive to your needs and the needs of the pet. I will care for your pet like they were one of my precious babies! I work a steady 7:30am-4:30pm job at a clinic in Dover. My lunch is very flexible, and I have flexibility after work as well to care for your babies! It all depends on your needs and the needs of the pet I am caring for! I have house sat for different dogs and cats of all ages. Some were more energetic than others, which affected my care. I would be more than happy to walk, play, or snuggle your animal to give them the love and entertainment they need!
