“Christina & Doug genuinely love Olive!! She has stayed with them for weeks at a time and they are great about sending me pictures & updates. They’re the best and I’m so glad I found them😁🫒”

“You can tell Julie has a heart for dogs; she sat with ours during fireworks on the July 4th weekend to try and comfort them. She was extremely accommodating on drop off and pick up times, which was greatly appreciated. On top of all of that, the accommodations are outstanding. We will definitely make use of her services for our next trip and are so glad to have found someone who goes above and beyond to care for our pups.”

“Just like all the other times before. Justin is perfect and is family to us. This week was different though.....I had let him know they were scratching a little more than normal and he went and got an anti itch shampoo and gave them baths and helped them out. They werent even mad at him. Thank you Justin like always. I dont know what Im going to do when I move. Thank you again”

“My dog is a rescue with anxiety and Evelyn was so great with him! She sent me pictures, gave him his medicine, and kept me updated on how he was doing. Would highly recommend.”

“Bobbi and her family took good care of Lotus! She was very flexible with her drop off and sent pictures of Lotus hanging out in her big backyard. I was a bit worried about her stairs given that my dog is 11 years old but he managed to go up and down to those few steep stairs just fine. Thanks Bobbi!”
“Zorro's time with Sarah was incredible! He had a wonderful time. She was very conscientious to make him feel loved and comfortable. Sarah knew this was his first experience with a new sitter and sent pictures and videos to show how happy and content he was. His appetite was good and he slept well through each night. I highly recommend Sarah and will schedule with her again when needed.”

“Eliza was just simply fantastic. I found myself in a position where I needed to have another sitter for the boys literally the last minute. She replied almost instantly and really helped me out. When I arrived I simply knew that she cared deeply about providing the best experience for my furry family members. Highly recommend her and I will not hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you again”

“Shelby is awesome with our fur baby! I have full trust in her when my pet is in her custody! She will communicate via pictures and texts to keep you informed of the great time your pet is having!”

About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.

“Jessica was amazing! She took such great care of my dog and treated him like her own. He was so happy and comfortable with her that I don’t think he even missed me! 😂🐾 I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. 💕”

“Bailee’s communication is phenomenal! She responds fairly quick and gave us constant picture updates of our fur baby’s progress. Ozzy seemed to have made himself at home and had fun there because he came back sleepy, which is good for us! :)”

About: I live in Whitehouse with my husband Casey and our 2 little dogs Parker and Wally. We both work from home full time, which leaves us with plenty of availability to have dog friends come stay with us! We go walking regularly, have a secure yard, and our house is very dog friendly. Both my husband and I work from home full time, so we are home all day long. We are able to accommodate regular potty breaks in our large fenced backyard, and typically do walks in the morning or evening. I have lived in Whitehouse my entire life and am very familiar with the surrounding neighborhoods. I am very careful with my own dog (never unleashed, supervised backyard time) and will do the same with others pets. We treat our dogs and other dogs like family, ensuring the dogs are comfortable and safe when at our home.
“Sarah responded quickly and concisely, was pleasant, and took great care of my dog. I almost felt bad taking the dog away from her 4 year old kid. Will book with Sarah again if she is available next time I need a dog sitter.”

“This was my first time leaving our dog with a sitter and she was great! Rocky was nervous but Isabel was patient and loving with him. My kids really enjoyed getting pictures of him and seeing him doing well. Would book again. Thank you.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
