About: I am a lover of animals and have had dogs for most of my life, unfortunately losing my sweet boy just a short while ago. I have been petsitting and housesitting for many years and ready to expand my network. Whether I stay in your home, your pet stays in my home, or I am just popping in for a visit, your pet will be very loved. Their comfort and happiness are my first priority. I am a remote worker, which allows for flexibility in a day-to-day routine. I am able to breakaway for potty breaks/walks/pets/feedings/training/etc. I will schedule any social activities around your pet's needs. In my home, your pet can have the run of the house, it all depends on your preferences as an owner. My home is pet friendly and will follow any guidelines provided. In your home, I follow your pet's normal routine, as closely as possibe. I ensure I leave your home in the same or better condition than when I arrived.

About: I've owned a dog and cat for most of my adult life. Both have passed on and I would love to take care of yours! I am currently working part time and am available to help out with your pet care needs Tuesday through Saturday morning, noon and night. Thank you! I will abide by all of your verbal and written rules while taking the utmost care of your loved pets in and outside of your home.

About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life including a Russian Blue cat, two yellow labs, a pit bull. I have always been involved in taking care of my pets to the best of my ability. I currently own a 185 lb English mastiff. I have availability almost all the time. I can’t stay at the house all day, as I generally leave to the gym at least once a day, but other than that I can stay at the house. I can usually stay at a house for 1-3 days. I always like to keep pets company as I believe that their happiness and well-being is always impacted by how I’m doing, so I always try to maintain a positive attitude around pets. I follow whatever directions the owner tells me to do.

About: I love all animals and have had dogs and cats my whole life growing up. I have a lot of experience caring for different breeds, family friends always rely on me to watch their animals. I have a very flexible schedule because I am taking online college classes. I am available 5 days a week to watch your furry friends! I will give your furry friends lots of company while you’re gone. I will provide a loving environment to make your animals feel safe. I can take multiple dogs on a walk at a time to ensure they get exercise. And follow any special nutrition instructions for your pet.

About: As someone who loves both cats and dogs, I understand the varying needs between the two. I owned two dogs growing up and have been volunteering at the cat shelter for the last three years. I have dog sat for about the last 6 years for my neighbors, meaning I have spent time in people’s homes for days on end, providing dog walking, and learned and accommodated the behaviors of various kinds of dogs. I also have taken care of my neighbor’s parrots for a month at a time, so I have bird care experience. I am currently a student at UC Berkeley and working part time (schedule for the Fall 2024 semester is not decided yet). Pet sitting is a very accommodating job for my schedule, because I can do it during the day on weekends and during the night during the week. During the summer I am free (aside from the occasional trips, from which I have updated my availability). In a client’s home, I make sure to supervise pets 24/7 to ensure they are getting the most attention possible. I give them lots of pets and affection to build a comfortable relationship. I make sure that they are leashed when we go outside and keep strict attention on them.

About: I grew up with dogs and cared for them until I moved away to college. I have cared for neighbors dogs when they went on vacation. I am retired now but I usually spend time helping my wife care for my 100 yo mother in law in the late afternoons every other day. But this is flexible. It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to have someone trust me with their pet. It takes years to build trust, but only a second to destroy it. It is so great to see so many responsible pet owners here in Folsom. Let me help you with this when you need it.

“Candace is awesome!!!!!! She truly cares and loves on our dogs. She is extremely diligent in her commitment to walking Wilson- and he just loves being able to get out and get some exercise with her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Lisa was great! I really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet and greet a few days prior to our first walk so that she could determine if we would be a good fit!”

“Chris was great! Showed up on time every time and was always super friendly. He helped us walk our larger dog as I’m injured and can’t handle her strength when she pulls the leash. Super helpful! Thanks again for all of your help!”

About: I love all types of animals, especially the elderly! I have had experience raising my own dogs with medical issues, as well as working behind the scenes at veterinary hospitals, shelters, and boarding facilities. I have been fully trained in all aspects of pet care, including administration of medications! I am a very dedicated and hard working individual who is most interested in the happiness of your pets! I understand how difficult it can be for owners to get the opportunity to take their pets for lengthy walks and giving them all the attention they need while working full time as well as how stressed our sweet pets can become when we aren't around. My goal is to help you out as much as possible and ensure that your pets feel extra loved while you're away! I anticipate getting to know every single pet and their specific needs. Animals are my number one priority and top quality care is what I strive for! I love the opportunity to make a new pet pal, get them the help they need, and share a fun experience together! I work full-time during the week as an RVT at a veterinary hospital, therefore medicating, exercising, visits, and playtimes that fall in the morning, evening, or on weekends work best! As a strong advocate for positive reinforcement, I am thrilled to engage with and adhere to your pets habits and rituals! Whether we sit before crossing a threshold or roll on the ground together upon entry, I'm more than happy to be a fun part of your pet's lifestyle! Getting to know each animal, their personalities, preferences, and delights is the greatest pleasure of my life- I'm happy to learn the best way to contribute to theirs!

“Sarah is the best dog sitter ever!! I've trusted Sarah to care for my two dogs several times and puts me at ease knowing the dogs are in good hands while I'm away. She shares Kodak moments of love which display the dogs are happy and doing fine during my absence. I look forward to reading a detailed note of her adventures with the pups upon my return. Lastly, I can always count on my home in the same condition as I left it because cleaning is the last thing I want to do after returning from vacation :) Thank you so much Sarah. You are truly the best!!”

Nolan K.
“Nolan is a responsible animal loving young man. He took care of our labs and American Staffordshire for many years. He’d take them for walks, swim, feed them, sleep with them, gave them medication, and played with them. He took them for multiple walks a day and always made sure it wasn’t too hot on their paw pads. He’s always been an animal lover who is compassionate and respectful, and has a lot of energy. I highly recommend Nolan for any kind of animal care.”

Madalyn G.
“I would highly recommend Madalyn as a pet caregiver, she has been taking care of our 14 weeks old lab puppy since she was 8 weeks old, kindly stopping by during the day while I am working, and taking care of her overnight. Madalyn LOVES animals, she is excellent with both cats and dogs, engaging them in play, taking them on walks, and giving them lots of love and cuddles. She is patient with our puppy, cleaning up her messes and reinforcing training, and encouraging good habits. Madalyn is active and knows how important it is to talk dogs on long walks, while also making sure the dog is safe from other dogs and cars on the road. If you are looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet caregiving, look no further! Feel free to call my cell if you have any questions 916-817-0487.”

They were well taken care of and they still get excited every time they see her.”

Franciscan Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kindra is wonderful. She is so easy to talk to and really understands dogs. I found Kindra on Rover because we needed someone to walk our Siberian Huskies while I recovered from an injury. We could not be happier. Kindra is always prompt, patient and a great communicator. Our dogs are very excited to walk with Kindra. I’m so thankful that we found her. Highly recommend!

Victoria is really great! She has a confidence that let's you know she can handle any situation that may arise when taking care of your fur babies. My dog Stormy prefers a calm energy from her sitters and while Victoria is confident she uses a calm approach, allowing my dog to greet her on her own curious terms before reaching out and touching her. So far they went on a walk which Stormy enjoyed as evident by the zoomies, smile, and wagging tail she came home with from her walk with Victoria. Will definitely hire Victoria again!
