“The dogs were very happy with their care. They were happy as could be when we returned but seemed as if they had the best week possible. Very good communication without over communicating. We will for sure use Emily again”

“Amanda took great care of our boys over a long weekend! She updated us regularly and every additional time we asked. She was timely and did everything we requested of her. We came home to extremely happy boys!”

“Best dog friend we have ever found. Extremely attentive, stayed with the dogs the entire time and sent lots of pictures and updates. Elizabeth made sure our thunderstorm-shy puppy had his meds well in advance of the storm and even let one of the puppies sleep on the bed with her (turns out he does not share the bed well). We cannot recommend Elizabeth highly enough and will always check with her first when we go out of town!”

“Kyanna gave appropriate updates and gave good communication on handoffs. Already rebooked for next trip.”

“Jessica does a great job with our dog and kittie while we are gone. We have no worries that she will take care of everything and we get daily updates and cute oics!”

“Shirley was fantastic! I needed last minute sitting in our home with an anxious pup, and Shirley showed up super early so I could get to my early morning appointments in Detroit on time. She stayed late as well. Pup was super happy and the house looked better than it did when we left it. She sent regular picture updates. Great experience!”

“Nick is truly the best! Nick is a great guy and so trustworthy. We left our yellow lab, Bodi with Nick for 5 days and came back to a spotless house and a well taken care of dog. Nick was thoughtful enough to give us daily updates on how things were going along with pictures. He is truly a natural with dogs and can tell how much he loves animals, our Bodi took to him right away. Definitely will be requesting Nick for future dog care and highly recommend him. Nick is a true gem who went above and beyond without being asked.”

“Paige was a delight! My dogs loved her and warmed up to her so quickly which almost never happens. I felt like my pups were in great care while I was away for the weekend.”

About: I had a golden retriever when i was little girl, and my love for dogs exploded! I have experience with young puppies to older dogs. Playing fetch and walking are my favorite activities to see doggie tails wagging! 😊 I currently work part time and go to college part time. I have plenty of time to take care of your loving fur babies and make them always feel at home! I cannot do pet sitting at home, but I am more than comfortable staying at your home and taking care of your furry animal! Safety comes first!

“Lauren was a pleasure to deal with and fulfilled all of our requests. We are very happy with the experience and would recommend her for your dog-sitting needs.”

“So many good things to say! We have two dogs and have had Ashley dog sit and do daily visits. She has done great at both and we will continue to use her. She kept us up to date while we were away and took good care of our guys.”

About: I treat every pet and home with the same care and attention I’d give my own. What sets me apart is my intentionality — I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routines, and needs, whether it’s a high-energy dog, a shy cat, or a senior pet that requires a calm companion. I’ve provided care during holidays, followed detailed medication schedules, and even kept houseplants thriving while clients were away. I’m communicative, clean, and genuinely enjoy creating a stress-free experience for both pets and their people. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine — I genuinely enjoy it and plan my days around giving pets the attention they need. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feeding routines, I stay flexible and dependable. I also build in time for play, snuggles, and cleanup to make sure every visit feels intentional and relaxed. I treat pet care as more than just a task — it’s a rhythm I enjoy and a responsibility I take seriously. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost respect and create a calm, familiar environment for the pets. I follow all instructions carefully — from feeding routines to preferred walking routes — and make sure pets feel safe, seen, and relaxed. I lock up securely, stay aware of my surroundings on walks, and provide detailed updates so clients always know how things are progressing. My goal is to maintain a peaceful, clean, and trustworthy atmosphere — one that is both for the pets and their owners.

“Kelsey was wonderful with our pets. Followed our instructions to a T, and we came home after the holidays to happy pets! Would definitely use again!”

About: Growing up I have always had a love for animals. My very first job included working in a boarding dog kennel. Since then I have became the go to dog sitter for my friends and family! I have taken courses on animal science that have helped me to become more knowledgeable on caring for animals. I have two cats and a shepherd/lab mix that I greatly adore!😊 I am a recently graduated student with a highly flexible schedule. I do have a daytime job, however I am lucky to have the opportunity to come and go when needed I am passionate about providing attentive and stimulating care to all pets, treating them with the same love and dedication as my own. I have much respect for others homes and personal spaces and will not cross boundaries😊

About: I have owned dogs and cats all of my life, ever since I was a child. Since the beginning of September 2022 I have also been working at a doggie daycare/boarding/grooming facility. On top of all of this I have also watched my friends and families ever since I could drive around to there houses (16 years old). I would love to help make your life easier by taking care of your pets as well! I am currently a full-time student as well as a part-time worker and would love to add more pet care to my schedule. I can have more pet care in the mornings I dont work, the evenings and on the weekends! I live in an apartment complex with my two cats, dog, and two guinea pigs. While your animals won't interact with mine, they would love it! In a clients home it is allabout making sure your pet is loved and cared for while you are gone. I will make sure your pet gets the quality time they need while you are gone. I am currently a part-time voice teacher in Grand Rapids as I just moved back to Michigan. I am not gone longer than 4 hours at a time typically. My main services are done in the clients home. This works really well for pets as it doesn’t disrupt their routine while their parents are away. I do my best to keep them comfortable and relaxed. Whether that involves playing or snuggling on the couch.

“Tony is an amazing sitter. I think he is actually a dog whisperer. Our fur babies have been looking our the window for him ever since we retfrom vacation.”

“Olivia and Bri were both AMAZING. We had to leave suddenly for 11 days for a family emergency. Our two dogs, Frankie and Shadow, needed someone to take care of them and treat them as well as we do. These ladies were so great with our doggies and took very good care of our home while we were away. They gave us updates and pictures so we could see them when we were missing them. They followed all our directions for care and for our home perfectly. We will definitely be using them again in the future. Our sweet dogs were super happy and relaxed when we returned and we are so grateful for Olivia and Bri.”

About: For years I dogsat for my aunt's tennis-ball-loving Labrador retriever and affectionate flat-coated retriever, my friend's dutiful old English sheepdog and mischievous Polish lowland sheepdog, and my friend-of-a-friend's terrier. Now I've moved to an area where I know much fewer people, so I'm getting on Rover to expand my reach and start spending time with dogs again. On most days I have lots of excess energy, and I find it hard to say no when a dog wants to play, so you can expect your dog to have some entertainment when I watch him. (If for whatever reason your dog is restricted from exercise I can handle that too, though I always find it sad to see.) I also enjoy giving rubs, and people are always impressed at how much face-licking I can stand. I've had to deal with my share of unusual incidents during dogwalking (including once having to lift a strange dog up by the scruff of his neck because he was attacking the dogs I was walking), so I feel ready for just about everything in that regard. I am presently working a full-time temporary job that is expected to end in early August 2025. During this time I will only be available for pet care from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays, while on weekends I am typically available all day. I like to spend frequent outdoors time while dogsitting, both walks and yard play. I am comfortable with sleeping in the same bed as your dogs if this is desired.

“I booked Nichole on 8-12-23 to watch my dog Keno overnight in my home. Nichole was very respectful of the house/property and followed my instructions. My dog was well taken care of and I was glad she was able to stay in the home and not at a kennel. I would most definitely hire Nichole again.”

About: I have taken care of many pets over the years from dogs, cats, rabbits and to even birds too, as well as caring for their baby versions too. Including recent experience in helping with a whelping of a litter of Doberman pups. I love going on walking and love it even more having a furry companion tagging along with me, I walk them rain or shine. I'm currently available to fit in pet care into my schedule as it arrives. I am open to everything but boarding right now,so house sitting, drop-in visits, doggy day care, and walks only at this time. My availability is currently open from weekdays to weekends being mornings or evenings. I care for pets as owners request, changes will be made only when pets behavior requires it. I live in an pet friendly apartment complex where your pet will be allowed to roam inside my home and have toys to chew and play with. They will have plenty of exercise according to the amount of time they are left in my care. I also like to send updates to pet owners being pictures and texts of their pet during their time my care.

“Robert cared for my 2 sheepdogs for years. He is the absolute best dog sitter, he truly loved my dogs. He was so kind and gentle with them . took them on long walks, playing ball with them in the yard. They were always so happy to see him, getting very excited when he came to stay with them or sit with them. We were so sad when he moved away, we will never find anyone so special and caring for our dogs. We love when he stops in to visit when he is in town. You will not be disappointed with robert caring for your animals , he is the absolute best.”

Yulisa G.
“Yulissa G. assisted me with a litter of pups from whelping until 9 weeks old. For 3 months, she worked part-time at my home: Mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. I am a 40-year breeder of top-quality, AKC pups and am very particular about their care. There were complications with the puppies and Yulissa was able to assist in performing the needed care required for their survival. She learned fast, followed directions well, and always had willing, helpful attitude. Several times she took a puppy to the vets for me. Yulissa was very good with the mother and her pups. She enjoyed playing with the pups in the yard and taking them for walks around the property. She possesses the skills and confidence required for appropriate and caring dog management after working with an experienced dog breeder and trainer for 3 months.”
