About: As a pet caregiver for over a decade, my love for animals has only grown! Neighbors, coworkers, and friends alike have all relied on me to take care of their furry family members, and I try to go above and beyond to help. I have experience caring for senior pets as well as those with special medication or dietary needs. I am a graduate student completing a part-time internship three days a week. My schedule is most flexible on Mondays, Thursdays, and weekends. On most weekdays, I can provide early morning, afternoon and evening care, as well as overnights when appropriate. While I cannot currently care for your pet in my own home, I will take the time to get to know your pet's home environment to ensure their (and your home's!) safety, health, and happiness - double checking to lock all gates and doors, being vigilant on walks around other animals, and focusing my attention on your pet.

About: Hi my name is Brian,I have experience with various reptiles ( chameleons, bearded dragon and frogs etc), I have a dog named taz and two tabby cats named Fish sticks and Ruffles. I provide personalized pet care with a focus on safety, comfort, and companionship. With experience in caring for senior pets, and managing special needs, I ensure your furry friend feels comfortable and provide them with the care they deserves. Whether it's a daily walk, playtime, or administering medications, I tailor my approach to each pet's unique needs." "My pet care schedule is flexible and designed to fit the unique needs of each pet. I typically start my day with morning walks and feeding sessions, followed by mid-day playtime or training, and end with a cozy evening cuddle or final walk. For longer stays, I offer multiple check-ins throughout the day to keep your pet active and engaged. I can also accommodate weekend and evening care based on your pet's needs!" When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment to ensure each pet feels secure and loved. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for at all times.

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for animals. I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and have years of experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I truly love all kinds of animals and would be honored to care for yours! I pride myself on being reliable, safety-conscious, and easy to communicate with. My dog is like my child so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your pets. After years working in marketing, I’m currently taking a break from the corporate grind and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits for dogs/cats/other pets. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule a free meet & greet—I’d love to meet you and your pet! I’m available for walks or drop-in visits with your pets day and night, weekdays and weekends. I am not currently boarding animals in my home. The safety and happiness of your pet is my top priority. The first time I care for your pet please share with me any guidelines I should follow or special care they need. I do not take dogs to dog parks for safety reasons. If you are ok with me taking your dog on a hike and approve it in advance, I ask that you make sure that they are up to date on their tick medication just in case.

About: When my friend's dog sitter cancelled last minute before her trip, she asked me to take care of her dog, Chief. Although I was new to caring for dogs, my experience with my Persian cat gave me the confidence to help out. Welcoming Chief into my home, I quickly fell in love with his playful antics and loyal companionship. What began as a favour soon turned into a deep bond between us. Since then, I’ve become the go-to sitter for all my pet parent friends. Working from home and being a responsible, available person has made me the perfect choice for taking care of their furry friends. Being a part time student with no job grants me the flexibility to provide care during weekdays without any hassle. With my weekends mornings predominantly free, I can easily accommodate and work around a flexible schedule to ensure that your needs are met efficiently and effectively. My house is in a gated community with a small fenced yard which provides an added layer of safety. When taking care of pets, I ensure they have a great time with outdoor adventures; Taking dogs for long walks in the park, games of fetch, tug-of-war, and hide-and-seek to keep them active and entertained and providing a cozy space for them to relax and nap, ensuring they feel safe and at home.

About: I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family my whole life. Growing up in a rural area, I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to horses, sheep, goats, cows, and barn cats. So I'm comfortable with the rowdiest cattle dogs to the most shy dogs and kittens. Our place was always open to anyone’s animal to come over and enjoy some freedom and care. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their human is away. Whether it’s just for a walk or an overnight stay, I look forward to building a connection with your furry friend and giving them all the cuddles and comfort they need. Im currently looking for work after graduating school. I am very open in my schedule right now and would be the perfect person to hang out with your pets all day long or for however long you need. I value the trust you place in me to care for your pets and home. I’m very clean, respectful, and detail-oriented. I’ll always leave your home exactly as you left it, if not cleaner. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment so you can relax knowing everything is in good hands.

About: ** please check my schedule of availability from walks, drop in/pick ups and drop in visits at the bottom of this page near the calendar before booking, to ensure we are a good match! Thank you, and I look forward to speaking with you! ** Hi there! I’m Lexi, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I offer boarding, dog walking, drop-ins, cat care, and house sitting—and I treat every pet like they’re family. I’ve owned and cared for animals my whole life. Cats and dogs as well as other types of animals. My beautiful husky, Nya, had developmental disabilities since birth, and had seizures. She became partially blind and deaf, and wore diapers near the end of her life and required very specific, round the clock care. She taught me patience, compassion, and how to stay calm in tough situations. My cat, Kiki Bobo, just passed away recently, he was 20 years old 😔 So right now caring for other’s pets brings me so much purpose and absolute joy. My mom has run a cat sanctuary for feral and homeless cats for nearly 10 years, so I’ve been around many different types of cats with different temperaments. In my full-time job, I work with children with autism, and other developmental disabilities—it’s my passion. That experience has made me patient, observant, and calm under pressure, which carries over into how I care for animals, too. I’m also CPR certified. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from strong, lovable pit bulls, large Great Pyrenees, to tiny (and sometimes feisty!) Chihuahuas. I’ve done many pet and house sitting jobs, caring for a wide range of types of animals and properties — including caring for large vegetable, fruit, and herb gardens! So whether it’s giving meds, watering plants, or keeping a nervous pet company, I’m happy to go the extra mile. I’ve always worked through friends and word of mouth, I used to live in a small northern Ca. Town where everybody knew each other; So I’m new to Rover! I thought it’d be a great way to expand, now that I’m living in the Bay Area again and in my apartment that I just moved into in April. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pets will be safe, loved, and spoiled with attention while you’re away. I love sending photos and plenty of updates while you’re away, and am happy to follow any special instructions at your request. Let me know your pet’s routine, preferences, or quirks—I’m flexible and ready to meet their needs! If you fur baby is comfortable with potty breaks or drop ins every 4-8.5 hours, then I am the perfect fit! I do work a full-time job during the week, but I have breaks some days in the afternoon that give me time to offer potty breaks, and drop in visits. I’m also always available early mornings and evenings every day of the week, and all day availability on weekends. If your dog is comfortable with potty breaks every 8-9 hours, then I am available 24/7 for boarding. However, for dogs that need potty breaks at minimum every 4 hours, my availability is Wednesdays-Sundays. If you can pick up your pup by 8am, I can board until Monday mornings as well. I can meet for a meet and greet, dog drop offs, and drop in visits at these times: M,T: 6-8:15am, 6-9pm W: 6-8:15am, 1-1:40pm, 6-9pm Th: 6-8:15am, 12:30-3pm, 6-9pm Fri: 6-8:15am, 6-9pm. Sat-Sun: All day availability If your availability needs are just outside of this range, please contact me as we may still be able to work something out, I often have cancellations with my job and may have more availability than listed, and may be able to make special accommodations so please do reach out! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, or going for a walk in the community with your pet. In my home, pets get a cozy, calm environment with plenty of love and attention. Your pet will get family-style care in a warm, loving atmosphere. Feel free to provide any bedding, toys, medications or any required items that might make your pet’s stay more comfortable or enjoyable. I also have poop bags, doggie beds, and toys for enrichment available at my residence, that are washed and sanitized after each pet’s stay. I have a toddler son who is gentle, respectful, and used to being around dogs of all sizes— including bully breeds like pitbulls, and small dogs like chihuahuas. My child will be supervised at all times. We’re a smoke-free home, and kid- and pet-friendly that’s focused on comfort and safety. Our fully enclosed, spacious outdoor patio is on the second floor and surrounded by 5-foot stone walls, giving your dog a secure place for potty breaks, sunbathing, and hangout time. For pups who need more exercise, we’re located in the heart of downtown concord, and just a short walk from parks and open fields where they can explore on leash. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully and keep your pet’s routine consistent to help them feel safe and at ease. I am very comfortable and familiar with caring for pets and households that may have a long list of specific instructions, including medications that must be followed very carefully. I’m happy to follow any and all of those kind of requests. I’m respectful of your space, and always patient and gentle—especially with senior pets, rescues, pets with anxiety, or those with special needs. I have experience caring for and watching over animals with developmental disabilities and specific medical needs such as requiring multiple daily medications, special diets, or may have trouble seeing or hearing. I have also cared for dogs and cats whom have just had surgery, extensive medical procedures, and those that are terminally ill, with cancer. I’m safety-conscious in every setting: I double-check gates and doors, keep pets leashed in unfamiliar or open areas, and always watch closely for signs of stress or discomfort. My goal is to help your pets feel secure, relaxed, and truly cared for—like they’re part of the family.

About: I’m an animal lover at heart and have personal experience with fish, birds, cats, dogs, and chickens. I can train puppies and will ensure your animals get the love and attention they need. I have a flexible schedule where I work part time and I am home most days. With two dogs and a cat myself, I go on 2-3 walks daily. I have a fenced large yard and two small dogs that nap in crates indoors. Your pet will be supervised and given plenty of exercise.

About: I'm a calm, tender soul that has a heart for animals. I grew up on a farm in Iowa where we always had dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, and even the occasional snake as household pets! I've lived with and around animals as long as I can remember and have always felt fondly of our furry friends. I have experience walking, grooming, feeding, caring for, and training dogs of all sizes. I'm currently working part-time and have a wide window of availability. As long as I know ahead of time, I can be very flexible with scheduling. I live by the golden rule of "treat others as you would want to be treated". I believe this applies not only to people, but pets as well. I will pay close attention to your pets and their needs and will engage with them lovingly as if they were my own pet. I am always happy to make new furry friends!

Muhammad A.
“Azeem is honestly the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. He’s not just reliable, he actually understands my cat and dog. My cat, who usually hides from everyone, curls up next to him like they’re old friends, and my dog loses his mind with excitement every time Azeem walks in. I trust him completely with my pets and my home, and it’s such a relief knowing they’re in such good hands when I’m away.”

Theresa T.
“Tess has been pet sitting for our pups for many years and consistently goes above and beyond. She is responsible and reliable - she makes sure our dogs are well cared for, and has responded to unexpected situations calmly and appropriately. Tess maintains regular communication with us when we’re out of town. What I really appreciate is that she takes them on plenty of walks, gives them lots of love and attention and makes sure we are not far from home before she leaves so that they’re not alone for long. My neighbors have always had positive things to say after Tess has been staying at our home. I am happy to recommend Tess for a pet-sitting/walking position!”

Frances V.
“Frances is consistently reliable, thoughtful, and communicative. She has cared for our two cats on numerous occasions, and as a pet owner herself, she brings a genuine understanding and level of care that gives us total peace of mind. From the start, she impressed us—not only by following our instructions closely, but also by recommending a fantastic water dispenser we still use daily. She goes above and beyond! Her text and photo updates are always a highlight while we're away. We trust Frances completely with our pets, and there's truly no better feeling than that. Highly recommend!”

Elizabeth J.

“Elizabeth has been very reliable and loving with my dog Toby. She has been a huge help due to my busy work schedule and girlfriend moving out.”

Four Corners pet parents share their Rover experiences
Isabel is amazing! Our dog has some very specific needs, and she is wonderful at understanding both our instructions and Zuko’s unique personality. He’s always so excited to see her, and we trust her completely. She’s our first choice whenever we’re out of town or too busy to be home.

Balthazar & I appreciate Elizabeth so much! Always my first call when I am going out of town. B is an old cat who can be EXTREMELY opinionated, and it is such a gamechanger to know I'm coming home to a blissed out buddy who's been hanging out with someone he loves instead of an angry orange beast. On a personal note - I managed to mess up my most recent reservation in a jetlag timezone confusion and she was extremely accommodating. Thank you, Betsy!!

Wonderful experience. Very thorough and appreciate all the tlc she gave my senior big dog. She was kind, easy to explain my needs, understood my concerns and handled my weekend away with ease and kindness. Would definitely recommend and will definitely have Emily work with Zeppy again. She took great care and i loved the pictures and little check ins. Two thumbs. 10/10 experience.

Mia helped walk and feed my 2 dogs (husky and a golden) for a week. She gave daily updates and shared photos. We had piece of mind knowing that our fur-babies were being well taken care of. She went above and beyond by vacuuming a couple of times when the hair got to be a bit much, which was greatly appreciated.

Emily was a fantastic cat sitter for my cat, Charlie! She did daily drop-in visits and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for while I was away. She was very responsive via text, always kept me updated, and sent me photos of Charlie—even when he was hiding under the bed. I really appreciated that she followed my detailed instructions closely, including giving Charlie his extra food supplements. She also emptied the Litter-Robot canister and took the time to water my plants, which was such a thoughtful bonus. I felt totally at ease knowing Charlie was in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend!
