Animals can't speak for themselves so we must be their voice. I work for myself and have flexible schedule. Animals are the world to me wish I could have more but I rent. I am allowed to have animals over for few days at a time as long as it's not permanent. Perfect for everyone as your pets will be loved as much if not more then expected. I am a serious animal lover and the care I provide will be noticed. Sometimes people say their dogs not friendly yet ends up loving me regardless of what they say or have experienced with other. Kinda like snow white when it comes to all animals. About: I have been taking care of my own pets since I was a small child. I have remote experience with reptiles. I am more comfortable with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I am a human nurse and can administer medications. I know how much we love our pets, so your pet will be MY pet while in my care! I am currently working every other weekend, and I am home during the week. I have a pretty open schedule and can be available for your pets needs! I have a large yard that is partially fenced in. The unfenced part is overgrown with tall vegetation. I have a smaller yard on the side that is fully fenced in. I have an 8lb shihpoo who loves to run and play and 2 cats who will just stay out of the way. We have multiple rooms and floors and can keep animals seperate if needed.

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. In addition to owning and fostering animals, I have also gained an abundance of experience in animal shelter work, veterinary assistant, and wildlife rehabilitation. I now only have one dog named Ben— he’s an old man and is very mellow. As a pet owner, I understand that sometimes life gets busy and we worry about our fur children at home. I would love to be there for you and your pet! I have worked with all sizes and breeds, and many different temperaments. If your dog or cat hasn’t special needs, I would be happy to accommodate for them. If your pet is generally on the anxious/ reactive side, I am still very much willing to work with them! I am very flexible and engaging, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I currently run my own business, so I have a great deal of flexibility and time to give lots of playtime, love, and attention to your baby. We have a large, 1 acre yard that is currently unfenced, but it is our plan to soon put one up. To keep your pets safe when going outback, we will always keep them on a leash and get their energy out by running or walking down the garden paths on the property! We live in a quiet farming community, so there is plenty of space for your fur baby to enjoy, play and relax. My favorite thing to do with the dogs is walk them out back, lay on a blanket in the grass, enjoy the sun and the views (we love to watch the neighbor’s goats). Indoors, we have 3 cozy rooms and a living room with a dog couch, as well as comfy places to rest all around the home. There is plenty of space to make accommodations for pets with special needs.

About: I have been on rover for years, and am WFH in Southie so very accessible. I can do one time visits or more consistent schedule. Some were puppies, and some were varied in size. I am work from home 90%, so can do daytime visits or an after work walk schedule or flexible windows. Thanks for considering me and I look forward to working with you and your pets! After work or weekends I am available, but can be flexible. I can also do during the day drop offs as I am wfh. Looking to go on walks in Southie, Seaport, etc and am excited to help!
