About: I have been a volunteer foster at Centre County Paws for 8 years. I have fostered 8 week old puppies to 13 year old senior dogs. I have seen it all: separation anxiety, severe malnutrition, high energy, resource guarding, dog aggression, etc. Your dogs are my top priority and I want to keep their routines consistent as possible. I am currently a senior in highschool, so overnight stays are typically restricted to weekends until June, but I am flexible if you live within 20 minutes of Bellefonte. I am free for 7:30am pee breaks and any time after 3:00pm during weekdays. I have finicky dogs, so I understand providing for a dog with specific needs. I can jog, play fetch, snuggle, and any type of quality time your dog needs. I will spend lots of time with your cats, cuddling and playing with toys are my favorite activities!

About: Hi. I am Derya and I have a dog named Shenai. I have to mention that he is our activity coordinator. He welcomes the guest puppies with super fast tail wagging. He is very friendly and likes to share his toys with them. He plans the walks and indoor activities. He likes to show them the spring creek and many different trails nearby our house. I have full time job, I still make sure that your puppies will get plenty of walk and indoor activities during their stay. Shenai loves to play. When we have guest puppies my house turns to big playground for them. We have a big back yard and a lot of trails nearby our house. I can give oral medications if it is needed and Crete your puppies if it is their regular routine.

About: I've loved animals of all kinds ever since I can remember and have always had pets while growing up and since, including dogs, cats, parakeets, turtles, rabbits and fish. I can't imagine not having animals as part of my family. We currently have a dog and six cats. My dog, who is part Jack Russel Terrier, was a puppy when we adopted him, so it was necessary to house-train him, which I was able to accomplish in just a couple of weeks. I don't know if it was my technique or just that he was very smart! I recently retired from full-time work and can devote lots of time to my dog & cats. I try to stick to a routine, though, similar to the one I had when I had a job: scooping the litter boxes in the morning & evening and feeding twice a day. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes so he requires an insulin injection after each meal, which needs to be very consistently timed. My dog has never been the type to want to run off on his own. We live in the country far back from the road but, because he won't even go outside unless I go with him, a fence or restraint isn't needed. However, I have lived in cities where having dogs on a leash was necessary so I have experience with that - having walked 3 dogs at once at times in the past. I would never let someone else's dog outside without a leash, tie-out, or fenced in yard. My cats stay indoors to keep them, as well as, the birds and other wildlife safe but, if a client's cat is allowed outdoors, I will do as they wish.

I also make sure to communicate clearly with owners and provide updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I intentionally plan for and enjoy as part of my routine. I care for pets in your home as if they were my own. If your pet has special instructions just communicate that to me, no problem.

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!

About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I’ve been taken care of all different kind of animals all my life. i used to take care of horses, goats, cats, bunnies, and dogs! i love taken care of puppies or dogs. i love taking care and working with animals in my life everyday! i’m willing to be part time. i’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! boarding time can be anytime and doesn’t matter how long! :) i understand that it could be hard to leaving your pets to strangers, but i can promise you that i will provide top care for your pets. i will do anything to make sure your pet is okay! i can send updates and stuff if wanted. and its allow to be in our beds and furniture if not. we can crated if needed.

About: I volunteer at the SPCA walking dogs and caring for the cats. I'm a lover of all animals. I'm very clean and responsible and care for all animals as I would a family member. I'm currently working full-time, but I'm available after 4 and all weekends and holidays. I have a dog and fours cats of my own and this seems to work for them. They are very happy. I take my dog on long walks and provide him enrichment treats and toys. I always check when leaving to make sure that nothing is out he can hurt himself with. I'm also very strict on cleaning the cat boxes as I don't want them to get sick or smell up the house. I will clean up after your pets and I will make sure they are safe and happy.
