I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. About: I grew up on a ranch in Vail Arizona and I have extensive experience in caring for animals of all breeds and species! I have one rescue dog (chihuahua) along with one snake and a bearded dragon. I understand that our pets are our family—often feeling like our own children—and I carry this sentiment with me when I care for other’s pets as well. I’m a part-time substitute teacher (I used to teach English in New Orleans before taking a break!) and I have a flexible schedule with summers and holidays off. I have an open yard on fish creek but I use leads for outdoor time, I welcome pets who are safe with this arrangement, are crate trained and who can get along with my friendly chihuahua Minnie who is also crate trained. When caring for a pet in your home I appreciate detailed information and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am curious or confused. If ever an emergency occurs and I cannot get ahold of you my judgment as a mother, an educator and a pet owner will dictate my actions.

Reliable and fun. I work five days a week at a marina however, I am always open at night and on my days off I am more than happy to care for your animals. To care for my own pet I take him out multiple times a day, I walk him, feed him, bathe him, and so much more but with other animals it varies, depending on the instructions given by the owner is what I will do along with extra love.

About: I'm very calm and patient with all animals. My style is to allow them to warm to me and once they are comfortable, I enjoy playing and running around with them or giving cuddles. When we go for walks, I'm careful of other dogs and humans.. I have owned a dog most of my young adult life. I can't have one now because of where I live, but I care for my mom's Shepard and I care for my friends' dogs regularly when they go out of town or just can't get home to let them out. And sometimes I just drop in to play a game of catch or take them out for a hike. I have a cat, and he is my world. I'm currently working full time from home, so I can make time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. I live in an apartment, but there are sidewalks all along the development for easy walks and parks and trails nearby. I have a cat but he has his own big room to play and sleep in if your pup doesn't get along with him (he's not aggressive at all, just trepidatious around strangers)
