“Molly is our go-to sitter! Typically, she works with our golden retriever puppy but this weekend she loved on our cat, Jake. She sent so many pictures and an informational update. Molly was also kind enough to take out our trash during her visit. She always goes above and beyond when caring for our pets and home!”

“I asked Samantha to drop by and visit my cat while I was out of town for a few days and was so happy with her service. She was so prompt in responding and asking any questions. I was so nervous leaving my cat but felt better knowing she was dropping to visit her. I was also so happy my cat was able to warm up to her even for a short amount of time. I’d recommend using her for any pet needs.”

“Emily did a superb job taking care of my dog and cat. At short notice she made time in her schedule to come and meet my pets before we left for vacation. She sent updates, photos and didnt hesitate to call if she had a question. I will definitely book with Emily in the future.”

“Megan did an excellent job caring for our cat and went the extra mile to put out ice melt on our walk as well! She spent the full visit time with him (I’ve had previous Rovers that only stayed 10-15 of a 30 minute visit) and her photos and communication were wonderful! I have her booked for more visits in the future already!”

About: With 5+ years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, I specialize in providing a calm, friendly, and fun environment for each pup that enters my home. Whether is is playtime to help burn off some energy for a young puppy, gentle care for a senior dog, or just basic consistent routines for anxious dogs, I do it all! I am patient, reliable, and treat every dog like family, because that is exactly what every dog deserves! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. The first thing I do every morning before leaving for work is hang out in the fenced yard area outside with whatever dog I am caring for at the time. Thankfully my job is flexible, so I am able to come home for lunch every day at lunch to let dogs out, stretch their legs in the yard, and get a little bit of play time in. After work I enjoy taking long walks around the neighborhood to burn off some energy and allow for some enrichment for each pup. Weekends are pretty similar, as I usually tend to spend time taking dogs to a local park for long walks and lots of fun. My home is pet-friendly, clean, and has a fully fenced backyard area for dogs to play freely and securely for as long as they would like. My dog Molly is also extremely friendly and playful, making for a great environment to wear off some energy. I make sure each dog has a cozy space to relax and I always supervise interactions to ensure that all dogs are safe. If you would like your dog to be crated, I do have an extra crate or am happy to set up whatever you bring. There is plenty of space to separate dogs in the home as well if it is needed or desired. Fun and safety are my top priorities!

“Melody is an amazing pet sitter!! She took great care of our kitty while we were away on vacation. She sent us videos, pictures and frequent updates. It was comforting to know everything was taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Melody to anyone with a pet sitting need!!”

About: Currently living on base at Fort Leonard Wood Animals have always been a central part of my life. I truly don’t feel complete without them! My husband and I currently have two dogs, Scout and Mila, and they are a big part of our daily routine. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I also helped raise and train my childhood dog, Kirby. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have over 15 years of experience working with horses, which has deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, including fearful, anxious, and reactive pups. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I’m comfortable using various training tools such as prong collars, e-collars, and slip leads. I’ve spent time researching different training philosophies: positive reinforcement, balanced methods, and corrective techniques, so I can best support each dog’s individual needs while respecting the owner’s preferences. I’m passionate about advocating for dogs and continue to learn about canine body language to better bridge the communication gap between humans and animals. Some highlights of my care experience include: • Helping an active duty service member nurse her dog back to a healthy weight after neglect from prior sitters • Supporting crate and leash training for multiple puppies • Caring for dogs ranging from energetic puppies to sweet senior companions I believe every animal has a unique personality, and I take the time to get to know them so I can provide thoughtful, compassionate care. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. I am currently a full-time graduate student in search of full-time or part-time work. I will do my best to update my schedule should I find employment. I prefer not to introduce clients to our two dogs or other dogs as it is not necessary and is the safest option for all parties. We stay clear of dog parks and I always supervise dogs when they are outside. I love structure and instruction. I will follow any and all instructions and preferences of the owner(s) at all times. If I am uncomfortable or unsure of something, that will be communicated up front, and I hope open communication is reciprocated. At the end of the day, dogs are animals. They can be unpredictable. I am always determined to keep all parties safe, healthy, and happy.

About: Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. That job was in-house care with my dog and all that included all that comes with it, feeding, playing and much more. Please let me know if I can be the one to help you! I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch. I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!

“Katie did great with my kitties. They’re usually scared of strangers and slow to warm up to people but they seemed to take a quick liking to her! She was timely with their visits every day and always let me know how they were doing. I genuinely looked forward to the pictures she sent me of them every day, it helped me miss them a little less. :)”

About: I have been dog sitting and walking unofficially for the last ten years. Well, it’s time to make it official! I have experience watching dogs of all sizes, from puppy to senior! I have managed medicine schedules, reactive dogs, high anxiety dogs, and couch potatoes! Whatever your pup needs, I’m your gal! Currently offering drop-ins and walks! 💕 I am currently offering drop-ins and walks during the evening on weekdays, and I have an open availability on weekends. I am hoping to transition to full time shortly after building a regular clientele. I do not currently offer boarding in my own home, but I would be more than excited to come hang out with your pup! I can crate them if you’d like, follow any schedule you set, and record in depth notes of activity upon request.

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I currently have one rescued border collie mix named Spock. My husband and I have a big backyard and both love animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pet:) I am a college student so just let me know what works for you and your pet and I’m sure I’ll be able to work my life around it:) I’ll treat your pet just like I treat my own. Spock gets along great with other animals but I would love the chance for them to meet before an animal just being dropped off at my house. Spock is allergic to chicken and has high anxiety so I know how important it is to give animals the proper care they need.
