About: I've lived with and cared for dogs most of my life and they always love to hang out with me when I'm around. My friends tell me when I come over I spend more time playing with their dog than I do hanging out with them. Always stoked to meet more fur friends! Currently working part time sharpening clipper blades and scissors for groomers so I get to see local fur friends often and I have plenty of time to hang out with them. I am very good at intuitively knowing when a dog needs something when I take care of dogs in their home, and I am also very attentive to the preferences of the owner for any special treatment their pup might need. I prefer to get familiar with a new dog before bringing them to my house but I can be an excellent host! I have acres of land out at my place and tons of groomed trails to take them around me.

From giving medications, to picky eaters, to knowing what to watch for in an emergency. I am experienced and will make your pet feel warm and safe. I work from home during business hours, so any animals in my home are always surrounded by love. After business hours we love going for walks and adventures as well as just going on errands where we can stop and check on anyone who needs us to I am not afraid of nippy or fearful dogs. Nor am I worried about aggressive breeds. I can crate dogs as needed. I can read their body language and will not overstep. I will help with bathing or nails if needed. I do have a friendly bernese mountain dog who can come with for walks, as well as 2 toddlers who are growing up trained around how to act with dogs and cats. They will not be mad if your dog nips or knocks them over
About: Not only have I took care of dogs, but also cats and rodents! I am fine with cleaning up messes and I love to just sit down and play with pets whenever I take care of any! I am working part-time this summer 7AM-2:30PM on mismatch days. Pets would be getting fed at 6AM on those days, I will make sure to inform the client ahead of time of my schedule. I have two friendly dogs that like to sniff. They are both friendly with cats. I also have a cat, so cat friendly pets are preferred to take care of.

I am currently working from home and would easily be able to walk dogs or check in on animals at anytime throughout the day. This would fit well. I have two friendly dogs of my own and my yard is fenced in. At other people’s homes I would walk dogs on a hand held leash if the yard was not fenced in.

“We have had Scott take care of our dogs on multiple occasions. We had an older whippet(who has now passed away), and a highly energetic lab. If we go anywhere we are likely taking them with us, but the situations that it wasn’t possible, Scott was always our first call. He was able to adhere to our older dog’s dietary instructions and also provide them both with adequate exercise as needed. He cared for them and made sure to give them the affection they both were accustomed to. Scott would be a great person to rely on to care for your dogs!”
