About: Hi! my name is Denique and I have a strong love for all types of animals. I am a 24yr old graduate from A&T University with a major in Animal Science. I have been caring for pets ever since I was a toddler. Caring for a pet in my household has always been my responsibility and I’ve done so very well, although I currently do not own a pet at the moment it just makes me more passionate to care for others. “MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. She was quickly able to come over and meet our gang to make sure it would be a fit. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

About: I'm person that does the work and listen to the animals too. I worked with military working dogs. Have raised my own, I even sucker for the abandon ones too. My life has been learning how to groom, including nails, medicines and how to feed certain dogs due to there digestive track. I can mend, cuddle and play with all type.but snakes sorry I can't do that. My soon to be husband also loves animals such as I do because they also help with mental health. Emotional support and therapy dogs are a real thing and they do help. Just like the little young lady that found last months wonder the roads of Amelia County covered fleas and ticks and no tags or nothing she now how's her forever home . Just ever day thing for more I come home ever 2 to 3 hours to let mine out. DUE to the current job I currently have once this jobs takes off my plan is.to do this full time for all animals. We have fenced in back yard with 3 acrea with it in the middle of the Amelia that has been forgotten about. I retired military and retired law enforcement looking to find something better that what I currently doing. Animals and kids make me happy and they would have a forever ever home with me. Plus my family loves animals too. If the our place did work out the have 100 to play on for the day too. My husband is sucker for all types of animals too.

She was super easy to communicate with and gave lots of updates with pictures and videos of Bella. It was my first time using rover and she really put my mind at ease with how much care she gave to Bella with constantly playing with her, giving her treats, updates, carefully following instructions and caring for her as if she were her own.”

About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs for many years from the family dogs, families dogs, and friends dogs. I will feed your dogs accordingly to your schedule and instructions I’m able to take them on walks around the neighborhood or let them out in your fenced in yard. Playing with them is always apart of the plan. I’m currently available full time during the days Monday-Friday so I have the full week and weekend to give my full undivided attention to your fur babies and make sure they have the best time while you are away. I would take care of your animals however you prefer , If you have a fenced in yard I would let them out back. Depending how active the dog is i would take them on 1-2 walks throughout the day. I would make sure they have food/water to eat.
