About: I love and get along with most animals. Would love to add some play time, or lap sitting time when I visit to care for your pet. I am recently retired and looking forward to creating my own schedule. Being home more lets me love on my cats more, and I look forward to spending time visiting/playing/caring for your pet. My own cats are fed 2x daily & snacked at least once / day. Litter boxes are cleaned 2x daily. Your pets needs will be a priority for me.

About: I have had experience with every age of both dogs and cats from newborn to senior. I've bottle fed puppies and kittens, potty trained them, adopted them out, kept some, raised them through their adult life, and cared for them as seniors. I've also taken in many strays and fosters and nursed them back to health, whether it was some scratches or they just weren't doing good, and found good homes for them. I know how to bottle feed, ween, potty train, groom, give medication, clean/sanitize injuries, and much more. I also volunteer in humane societies so that has given me advice and techniques for helping earn animals trust, especially when they are being boarded in an unknown house. I work from home so I am almost always there, unless I have to run to the store or do some quick errands. If I happen to visit friends or family, go to a sit down restraunt, or do anything else that might take longer, it will never be for more than 2-3 hours. I do not kennel unless necessary or if requested (during feedings, if I have to run somewhere, in emergencies, ect.), so they will have free reign otherwise. If they have a feeding schedule, great, if not, I'll make sure the bowls always full. Fresh water is always available in multiple locations. I don't have a fence so dogs will always be leashed going outside and will be taken whenever they want to or every couple hours. Cats litter boxes are spot cleaned once a day, and switched once a week or when needed if they will be staying for longer. My golden rule is treat others how you want to be treated, and that extends to animals aswell. I don't yell, ignore, or force anything to do something that isn't necessary. Obviously no one wants to take medication, but if they have to, I'll be as quick and careful giving it as I can.

About: I have two black labs currently and have grown up with boxers my whole childhood so I am well acquainted with dogs and love to be in their presence. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have tons of time on my hands. I have 2 dogs of my own that I love to play with and walk daily. About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets and neighbors pets over the years including cats and dogs. I have 5 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have always had dogs growing up and we also had cats over the years as well! I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat of my own! My typical day is pretty open at this time as I do not have a full time job, I spend most of my days with my pets and house cleaning! About: Rya & I just move to Elkhart in October. Allow me to take care of your four legged friend. Your dog will enjoy running and lounging in the open areas. After plenty of fresh air and outdoor exercise he will enjoy a sleepy snooze on one of the many cozy spots that he will find in a quiet home. Take the stress away from leaving your loving pet and let me take care of him while you are away.I like to do a " meet and greet" to see how the dog gets along with me and my own dogs. I do not have a breed preference. Of course I would like to know if the dog has any health concerns or behaviors I should know about, the dog's. My daily routine is wake up let animals outside. Then feed. Then I take care of myself. Relax, go for a long walk with them or run. I am free most days and weeks. I have 30 acres of fence in yard. I have a horse pasture I made it where the dogs can't get out they also have a indoor area where they can relax in shade. And water 24/7.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
