About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a house full of family dogs and cats as well as some guinea pigs. Throughout my childhood I spent years volunteering at my Father's veterinary clinic, where I learned how to safely handle animals, recognize behavior cues, support stressed and sick pets, and assist with daily animal care routines. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal health, patience, and the importance of building trust with each pet individually. In college I had the privilege to work as an Animal Ambassador Educator at the Sunset Zoo, where I cared for and handled a variety of animals while also teaching others about animal behavior, enrichment, and welfare through our ambassador animals. I also spent time working in a doggie daycare facility. This gave me experience supervising multiple dogs at once, understanding play styles and social behaviors, providing enriching activities, all while maintaining safe and structured care. What sets me apart is my combination of professional experience, education, and genuine love for all animals. I’m comfortable and confident with pets of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including senior pets, shy animals, energetic pets, and those who need extra patience or routine consistency. I pay close attention to body language and behavior cues so pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. As a teacher, I’m attentive, organized, and communicative. I understand how important it is for pet owners to trust those caring for their furry family members. I treat every pet with the same care and love I would want for my own fur babies. As a high school teacher, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to each pet throughout the week and on weekends, especially during the summer months. During the school year, I’m available most mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends for visits, walks, feedings, playtime, and more. My schedule allows me to be dependable, communicative, and consistent so pets can maintain their normal routines and feel taken care for. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their familiar environment and routine. Because of that, I focus on providing attentive care in my clients’ homes through drop in visits, walks, playtime, enrichment, feeding, medication support if needed, and quality time. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. With my background in veterinary, zoo, and daycare settings, I’m experienced in reading animal behavior, recognizing stress signals, and adapting care to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I always prioritize secure handling, clean environments, routine consistency, and clear communication with owners. I also love keeping pets mentally and physically active. If desired, I’m happy to provide enrichment activities, outdoor adventures, walks, park visits, or extra exercise tailored to your pet’s energy level and comfort. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: I have lived on a farm my whole life and have taken care of animals. I also groom dogs and have my own grooming business Em’s doggie salon. I also have experience on giving dogs insulin. I do work a 730-430 job but I always have time in the mornings and I have a hour lunch and then when I’m off I can do whatever the pup/ cat needs! Like I said above I groom dogs already on the weekends so people see and trust me with their pets daily! I have had dog and pets my whole life

About: Pets have been a part of my life ever since I can remember, and their welfare is of utmost importance to me. From farm animals to domestic animals, I treat your best friends as I would treat my own. Experienced in senior care and puppy care as well as cats and feral cats. Have volunteered at a shelter with bathing, walking, and cleaning kennels as well as boarding dogs for friends. My availability is open depending on your needs and logistics for dog walking and drop ins. Prefer if walking the dog in the community earlier morning hours or later afternoon hours to avoid the heat. For dropping by, anytime of the day can work. I service the Eldon, Missouri, area to the eastside of Jefferson City, Missouri. Trips to the Taos, Missouri, dog park can be arranged. When caring for pets in your home, I abide by your rules and wishes and what your companion feels safe and comfortable with. Glad to send pictures!

About: Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I'm happy to stay at your house or visit your kitty while you're away. At this time, we can not board your cat at our home. Thank you! **We try our hardest to keep our calendar up to date so be sure to make sure we are available the week/day your pup needs a vacay** My wife and I both love dogs! We have one miniature Dachshund who is our spoiled little baby! We both work 5 min from home and have a very flexible schedule so we come home several times a day to check on our pup and walk her so your dog is sure to get LOTS of love and attention as well as plenty of outside play time. We do prefer to keep only medium and small dogs. This is for both your pup's safety and comfort as well as ours. We understand how difficult it is to leave your fur-baby but we want to make it a little easier on both you and your baby! From daily pictures sent directly to you assuring you that your dog is having a blast on their own vacay to video chats with your pet via Skype or FaceTime so your baby can hear your voice and you can see them running around and playing! We live in a town home in Regent Park and have a huge grassy common area behind our house for your pup to play in! We just installed a fence and some fresh sod in our backyard so your pup is sure to enjoy being outside with us on top of their walks! We also have several trails that we like to walk and would love for your dog to join us (if you are ok with it and your dog enjoys sunset walks :) My wife is home most days and I work only five minutes from the house so we are available all day day to spend quality time with your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard and lots of extra space for your pups crate/bed so they can be sure to feel right at home.

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress! I would do my best to uphold any schedule you already have in place (ie feeding, walks, medicine, bedtime).
