About: Hi, please call me Kat! I am a lifelong animal lover with over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Whether it’s a shy senior, a bouncy puppy, or a special needs pet, I’m here to offer calm, compassionate, and reliable care tailored to their unique needs. I’ve been lovingly referred to as a “pet whisperer” by friends, family, and clients thanks to my gentle and nurturing presence; pets naturally gravitate toward me, and I treat every one like my own. I’m experienced with administering medications, supporting detailed routines, and making pets feel safe & cared for while their humans are away. Additionally, I have dedicated time to curating my care to make sure you receive a truly specialty service. While I always ensure I leave your home exactly how you left it, I offer optional add-on home cleaning and laundry services. I never mind having additional duties like tending to your flower garden, skimming the pool, and signing for packages either! I like to surprise, and wow, you & your pets. Complimentary treats, toys, teaching them a new trick, or getting the shy babies to open up like never before. I enjoy keeping things fun and exceeding the expectations. Can’t wait to meet your furry family! I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks; all in the comfort of your home! In-home care removes the stressor of an unfamiliar environment for your furry friend. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility to stick to your pet’s schedule and offer plenty of one-on-one time. I am currently enrolled in college (Economics & Legal Studies program, yay!), so August-May I have classes. I am a commuting student, and I attend college about 30 minutes away. Class is usually 2x a week for ~3 hours 12:30-3:30pm. I will update if there is ever a schedule change or an event that will require me to be gone for a little longer. You'll get plenty of cute photo and video updates (frequency customized to your preference!) so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified with a personal vet tech contact for additional peace of mind. A substantial part of my career is in the pet industry, so I am well-versed in central aspects of pet wellness and safety. Body language, chewing styles, vigilance against tick/flea/other disease vectors; please feel free to ask questions and see if any of my other skills meet your pets needs. I know more than my fair share on preventing unwanted pests bothering our pups and cats; I am vigilant with maintaining pet health by implementing best practices against flea, ticks, and mosquitoes.

“Sophia did an amazing job taking care of my pets/1 dog, 2 cats and 2 horses. She sent pictures and updates with every check in. Our vacation was 11 days, so I was worried how my pets would be with such a long absence, but with Sophia they were perfect! I so appreciate all the care she gave them while I was away! I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“There are too many good things to say about Carrie and her service with our pets. She swooped in like a life-saver to watch our pets last minute. She came for a meet and greet and EVERYONE loved her, including our crabby kitty. Carrie was incredibly detail oriented and asked lots of questions to make sure everyone would be taken care of while we were away. Our visit updates were detailed with lots of pictures. She even checked in to make sure we arrived home safely. We can't wait to go out of town again so our fur-kids can play with Carrie!”

About: I have owned at least one dog for as long as I can remember. In 2020, I lost my job during the pandemic and started pet sitting. I fell in love. I love my client’s pets like they are my own. I work Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm. I also get an hour for lunch that can be flexible. Weekends obviously work best for me. I’ve been dogsitting for 2.5 years while having this job and haven’t had any scheduling issues. I have lots of experience with free-roam dogs or kenneled dogs. I have cared for numerous dogs who need to walk on a leash or can go outside on their own (in a fence or not). I’ve seen it all! I regularly dog sit for 12 different families in the area — with their families ranging from 1-7 dogs!

“Julie is awesome. She provided so many photos of Millie and took care of her just like we would. She went above and beyond for us and Millie. I highly recommend booking with Julie, you won’t regret it.”

About: Hi, I’m Kristen! I’m a fellow dog mom to Hazel, my sweet German Wirehaired Pointer mix, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pup. We spend our days exploring the lake, hiking trails, and enjoying an active, outdoor lifestyle. I work a flexible schedule from home, which means I can give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime—whether they love a good game of fetch, a casual stroll, or just lounging in the sun. With me, your pup will be treated like family (Hazel will make sure of it!). Reliable, responsible, and all about wagging tails—I’d love to meet you & your dog! I work a hybrid WFH job, working from home 3 days/week and in office the other 2 days. When away, my dog has indoor/fenced outdoor access. When home, we take 2-3 walks per day, and occasionally walk down to the lake for a swim. We are fortunate to live on a private, quiet street surrounded by wooded areas and the lake. I do have a fenced in back yard that my dog Hazel loves. I have worked with Hazel to learn & respect boundaries to ensure her safety- and would be glad to do the same for your pets in my home or yours!
