In-home care removes the stressor of an unfamiliar environment for your furry friend. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility to stick to your pet’s schedule and offer plenty of one-on-one time. I am currently enrolled in college (Economics & Legal Studies program, yay!), so August-May I have classes. I am a commuting student, and I attend college about 30 minutes away. Class is usually 2x a week for ~3 hours 12:30-3:30pm. I will update if there is ever a schedule change or an event that will require me to be gone for a little longer. You'll get plenty of cute photo and video updates (frequency customized to your preference!) so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified with a personal vet tech contact for additional peace of mind. A substantial part of my career is in the pet industry, so I am well-versed in central aspects of pet wellness and safety. Body language, chewing styles, vigilance against tick/flea/other disease vectors; please feel free to ask questions and see if any of my other skills meet your pets needs. I know more than my fair share on preventing unwanted pests bothering our pups and cats; I am vigilant with maintaining pet health by implementing best practices against flea, ticks, and mosquitoes.

About: I have owned at least one dog for as long as I can remember. In 2020, I lost my job during the pandemic and started pet sitting. I fell in love. I love my client’s pets like they are my own. I work Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm. I also get an hour for lunch that can be flexible. Weekends obviously work best for me. I’ve been dogsitting for 2.5 years while having this job and haven’t had any scheduling issues. I have lots of experience with free-roam dogs or kenneled dogs. About: Hi, I’m Kristen! I’m a fellow dog mom to Hazel, my sweet German Wirehaired Pointer mix, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pup. We spend our days exploring the lake, hiking trails, and enjoying an active, outdoor lifestyle. I do have a fenced in back yard that my dog Hazel loves. About: I have taken care of friends, family, and neighbors dogs for a few years. Anything from dog walking to week long overnight stays at their home. I enjoy loving on the pups when the family is away, it really makes a difference in the animals. I currently work full time (Monday-Friday 9-5). I am available during the day to do dog walking while owners are gone. I also have a flexible schedule to stay at your home and work remotely. I can make accommodations to a lot of needs so reach out if you have any specific questions. I do not bring dogs to my home due to my older cat. I find it very comforting to the dogs to keep them in their home environment and keep the same schedule. I always walk and play with the dogs so they get their activity, if they can do so. Loving them and keeping them happy while you are gone is my number one priority.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my hands-on approach to pet care. I’ve owned cats since I was 18 and have lived with dogs of all sizes throughout my life, giving me a deep understanding of different temperaments and needs. I helped a close friend raise a puppy, so I know firsthand the patience and training required for young dogs. I have my own transportation and get a 30 min lunch from work and can use that time as well!
