“This was my first time being away from my boys for such a long period, and I’m really glad my dogs are boarding with Taylor! She and her family are incredibly welcoming and professional. Since both of my dogs are seniors, it requires a lot of patience, but Taylor was very understanding and genuinely took great care of them. The daily photo and video updates she shared with me were the highlight of my vacation as well! :) I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for someone who can care for their dogs as if they were their own!”

“Caitlin did a beautiful job with Murphy, our rescue boy. He gets nervous when strangers come over so we brought him to her house. She had a nice room for him to relax, a big fenced yard in the country and a calm, positive demeanor. He has not been sat by anyone but family, but we will definitely be taking Murphy to her again. She even gave us fresh-caught Alaskan salmon to bring to our daughter, who had just had a baby. Hoping she becomes a regular part of Murphy's life! We highly recommend her.”

“Jackie took amazing care of Daisy while I was away for the weekend. She came back happy and calmer than I expected as she is a very high anxiety dog. Definitely will be using Jackie’s boarding services again! Thank you so much☺️”

“We could not have asked for a better family to watch our dog! There was lots of communication and updates, which was very much appreciated while we were gone. They cared for Buster just like he was a member of their family. 1,000% recommend”

“Debra was great! We did a meet and greet and she was really patient with my puppy, introducing him to each of her dogs one at a time and giving him time to just settle in with them. She is so kind. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Happy repeat stay! Roux was so excited to be back with Ashley’s family! She didn’t even want a goodbye hug she was so ready to play! I don’t want to say this publicly for fear of Ashley’s calendar filling up, but she’s our first choice when it comes to someone taking care of our pup.”

About: We are empty nesters after losing our last dog to cancer. We are looking to fill that void but don’t want to commit to a permanent dog. Smaller dogs is what we preferred in our home. My daughter and daughter-in-law own a large dog boarding center up in Minot, ND. When our 5 kids come home all the grand dogs come with them. Thru our marriage years our family always had dogs and they all had a great life. Marilyne works part time, 3 days a week and Albert is retired and is home all day. We will be home to take care of the dogs. We have a clean and organized home with vinyl planking flooring. The dog will not be running lose and will be on a leased to go potty. We like to go for walks and take a ride on the golf cart.

About: Hi! I’m a middle school teacher, mom to 4 busy kids, and dog mom to ‘Jersey’ our mixed rescue. My house is a welcoming home away from home for your pup. Now that my kids are a bit older, I have a lot of time to give to your pup in the summer and would treat them like my own. I LOVE getting outdoors and walking as much as my legs can allow. Summer break allows for our family of six to enjoy the neighborhood. I have the flexibility to be home daily. Although my children are in multiple activities, I am always close to home. I will be out and about quite often driving kids to different places, but are never gone for more than a few hours. I am able to leave and take your pup for a quick walk multiple times a day, or welcome them into our house over the course of a couple days. My house has a fenced in yard in a nice family neighborhood. Our dog has her base camp on our upper level den, but we have a safe and separate area for your pet in our lower level that will be all theirs! I will walk multiple times daily and care for your pet as my own. My family has lots of love and cuddles to give if needed, but if your pup is more of a recluse, they can adjust accordingly!

About: I am a retired nurse with 37 years of having 1-3 dogs in my house at a time. Currently I do not have any, and I miss it! I am retired and my days would be dedicated to your pup. I have plenty of free time and I enjoy going for walks on the Wobegon trail next to my house. I have 2.5 acres, though not fenced in. There is plenty of room for your dog to run, sleep, and play. They would have free range of the house and it’s very safe.

“Scott, Julia and their kids were amazing with our Great Dane Zeus. They sent us lots of updates and pictures and did a great job taking care of him on our wedding weekend! We had zero stress or worries while he was there. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for pet care, and will for sure be bringing Zeus back in the future!”

“Emily was an awesome dog-sitter for our precious Kai. Emily even picked him up for us from our wedding venue after the ceremony so that he could attend. Without this, it might have been difficult for him to attend. We couldn’t be happier with Emily’s prompt response time, punctuality, and overall care of our dog. If we were from the area, Emily would definitely be our first choice in pet sitter.”

“Stacy was great with my dogs. She kept me updated throughout the weekend as to how they were doing. She sent me photos. She gave them massages and took them out for walks. Will be booking with her again.”

“Kendra did a great job taking care of my dog. I would use her again if I was in the area. It was my first time using Rover so I was hoping for a good experience. I was a little discombobulated having packed late or a camping trip. Even though I forgot to leave my dog's dishes and supplement Kendra took it all into stride. With the missing supplement she contacted me and and made sure she understood how the medication my dog is on were given before I left my pup with her. Throughout the entire process she was communicative responding quickly to any questions I had. It was a good introduction to Rover.”

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. I like to think I treat them as one of my one while keeping in mind if the owner has and rules or requests of their own.

About: I am working on starting my own business called Kaitlyn's Pet Sitting. I want to offer my business through Rover to get the word out there and build a client base. A little about me, I have worked in the animal care field for a very long time. I've worked in veterinary clinics and boarding facilities. I grew up on a farm and currently live on my own hobby farm with lots of land, chickens, horses and cats outside. I miss working in the animal care field caring for pets and I am looking to get back into this area of work. I have learned that dogs are more comfortable being in a home setting versus going to boarding facilities. A lot of dogs can develop stress related behaviors along with destructive behaviors from being at boarding facilities, that's why I want to offer this service to the community. I am currently working during the week Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. But I am usually free on the weekends! I am hoping to eventually be available full time. I have a fenced in area for my dogs. My dogs are also crate trained for when I am away at work. All of my dogs love playing with other dogs! They basically grew up in a boarding facility when I used to work at one. I have a Siberian Husky, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie and 2 Chihuahuas.

About: I lived with 3 dogs and 4 cats when I lived at home. And i loved it. I love training my german shepherd puppy and taking her out for walks. I have taken care of my family pets when they were away and they always left smiling. Looking for extra pay on the side while working a part time job. Contact me for when you would like to book to make sure I can fit you in. I will make sure they would get the same care as if they were my own pet. I will love them and play with them as much as they want.
