I am semi empty nester looking for a little more on my "to do" list. I work but can make my own schedule for drop ins or house sitting I'm older then most Rover sitters. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11. From my dog, to my family member's dogs, I've taken them on walks, given medication through pill pockets, fed them, brushed them, played with them, and given them all the love and attention they could ever want! I'm working part time, so I can give as much attention as possible to your pets! I'll be constantly in the area, so no need to worry about your pet being alone for too long. I’ll take the fur baby (or babies) on walks, play with them, love on them, and everything in between! Any need they could have, I can meet.

Clean liter boxes I currently work full time and off on the weekends. About: I have taken care of any animal you can think of. I worked in veterinary clinics for 15 years. One of the clinics sees all animals including wildlife. I have dealt with a lot of emergencies and understand animal body language well. I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse and a rabbit. I really do love animals and love taking care of them. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for 10years and have cared for many different dogs breeds from young to senior. I was raised around many types of animals including horses, dogs, cats. My love for animals shows in my ability to be patient and assess their individual needs. Your animal will be well taken care of and have you feeling worry free. In my home I feed animals 2 times a day at 8am and 8pm. I take dogs out to go to the bathroom at 7:30am, 11:30am, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and lastly at 9:00pm. If your animals needs to go out after that I will do so. I have an unfenced yard but use a staked leash in the ground. I also can take them out on your leash if your more comfortable with that, but if your dog is a jumper (needing a 6ft fence) he/ she will be leashed walked for potty time and can walk them for a good period of time. Everyday at the best weathered part of the day or around noon I will be taking your fur-baby out for at least an hour walk or go to the dog park/ run if allowed during longer stays (more than 2 days). For the animals that I will be taking care of at their home I will feed them on the schedule that you have for them already and as close to those times as possible. I will take them on a 30 min walk at least once a day and give take them out to go to the bathroom once in the morning and once in the evening. If you let me know what needs to be done and it will be done as close to the times as possible Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or allergies i.e. seasonal and/or food so I can take the appropriate measures to insure he/she has a wonderful time within those limits. I also request that you let me know of any behavioral needs that he/she has ahead of time. for example if they get along with other dogs and animals, or pull on there leash ( mainly for bigger dogs) etc.

About: I have recently adopted a Dutch Shepard mix named Gnocchi(born 5-26)who has quickly stolen my heart and ignited a passion for dog training and all things dogs. I’ve raised family dogs throughout my life and am very adamant that a dog should live it’s BEST life and I would love to have the honor to be a part in making your pups life fun whilst you are away. Separation anxiety can be difficult, but I’ve been blessed with an amazing fenced back yard where playing and socializing is a great distraction. We will be mostly inside with an emphasis on monitoring(PLAYING) to reduce accidents as well as being outside as weather permits. I have recently moved to this beautiful island and would love to walk-in’ and Dog sitting as soon as possible! My availability is completely open and I am willing to dog sit, do drop in visits and of course my favorite, walk all the pups! Gnocchi is a 9 month old puppy who is extremely playful and friendly! We have socialized her with a plethora of other dogs since we adopted her and it shows in her loving nature.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love all animals and treat them all as if they were my own! I currently do not work-so my schedule is wide open and flexible to take care of all of your pets needs. I am open to walking, dog sitting and more! I have a dog to keep your fur baby company of staying in my home. I do not have a fenced yard but like to go for walks, and in park adventures.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life these animals include dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even hermit crabs! I got my dog Jack when I was 6 and was responsible for taking care of him sense then (he's now 13 years old!) I also helped out many friends and neighbors in taking care of their animals including walking, feeding, and bathing their pets. I am home for the summer and am only working part time, so I have plenty of time to fit in taking care of your pet! About: I’ve had dogs in the house since I was 6 and I’ve always loved them! I have done pet sitting before and am excited to see how I can help you and your pet! I work full time, 7am to 4pm, but I work remote so I’m able to do house sitting during the week assuming I have good wifi, and for walks or drop bys I can do before or after work! I am able to help however you need! I have experience pet sitting in other peoples home and know that a well loved dog is a happy dog and have no problem working with dietary issues, taking them on long walks, long hikes, and providing them with lots of love. About: I got my first pet, a hamster, when i was six! I followed up with a Guinea pig. When i turned 11, i got my first cat Patience. All of these pets i fully cared for, and did chores in order to pay for supplies. This is what fueled my love for pets! When i turned 15, i got my first dog. Sadly he passed away from illness, but it was a lesson learned on how to care for special needs dogs. My cat Patience died when i was 20 at the age of 9. That sparked me to get a dog not long after (since my cat never got along with the dog i had, i felt it best to give her a single pet home). Ive spent the last two years training Rollo and learning everything i can about making his time here special! He’s made my love for animals deepen, causing me to want to get further involved in animals as a part of my every day life! I hope to one day become a dog trainer, and specialize in obedient house pets! Im currently working a day job, but have too much time on my hands! I am available weekdays after 4, and all day long on weekends! I care for all animals like they are my own. Pets live shorter lives than us, so its my goal to make their lives the best they can be! I love going on walks with my dog, and playing fetch at the dog park! I always make sure my clients pet gets along well with mine if i plan on having him tag along! Its a great way to socialize the pets, and it gives them something to look forward to!
