About: I have grown up with dogs and cats and have developed the deep love and understanding of pet care. I have learned how to recognize the subtle signs of an animals needs, which help me provide the best care possible. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know that their pets are in safe hands, which is why I always communicate regularly and provide updates. You can always count on me to show up and provide a nurturing environment. I am excited to extend care and attention to other furry friends! I am currently a student at the University of The Incarnate Word. I am typically available from 12 to 6 pm however, could also do very early in the morning. When I am caring for pets in a client’s home my priority is to create a safe, comfortable and trusting environment. I follow any specific instructions from the pet owner regarding food, exercise, and behavior, maintaining consistency to reduce any anxiety. I will always make sure that the pet has access to freshwater and plenty of affection. I focus on maintaining a calm and protective environment so both the pet and owner feel at ease knowing they are in trustworthy hands.

She sent us updates throughout each day and it may us feel so confident and happy to know our pups were in good hands. About: I have a genuine connection to animals and care deeply for them. In my own home I care for a senior dog and two bunnies. I always give my animals my first and my best. My schedule is flexible as I prepare for graduate school. My goal is to make some connections with families that need additional pet care that I can work my schedule around to accommodate theirs. Shayla did such an awesome job taking care of Cooper. She sent lots of pictures, videos, and kept me updated on how he was doing. I would trust her to stay again in our home anytime. She was sweet and respectful and I can tell she really loved on our boy. She took him on walks, played with him, and followed all the instructions. She took care of our house and took out/brought in the trash and recycle bins for us. We are so glad we found her and will definitely be using her again in the future.
I can’t recommend Allison enough! She took care of my dog Beowulf for a full week, and from start to finish, she was everything you’d want in a sitter: caring, reliable, and clearly passionate about animals. Beowulf isn’t just a pet, he’s family, and Allison treated him that way. She made sure he was well-fed, played with, and given plenty of attention and affection. I could tell from the updates and photos she shared that he was relaxed, happy, and truly enjoying himself. Because of Allison, I was able to actually relax during my time away, no stress, no worry, just total peace of mind knowing he was in the best hands possible. Her calm presence and dependable nature make her an absolute gem. If you’re looking for someone to trust with your furry best friend, look no further. "Never judge a book by its cover" has never been more true than with Jared. Let your pets be the judges! Jared is the sweetest, most loving person with my cats and I can only surmise that he is that way with all pets he cares for. I have come to know Jared over time; he helped me rescue a cat, went with me to the vet, and later, when I was away working out of town, he took the cat to the vet again for an appointment to get "fixed", picked him up afterwards, and cared for him while I got home the next day. Who else does that???
Jennifer was so fantastic! Our dog adored her and is completely exhausted from all their walking and playing. She went above and beyond what we requested. And she really, really cares about dogs. We had forgotten the sidewalks in Texas could get beastly this early in the summer and forgot his booties, but we needn’t have worried—Super Jen picked Willy up and carried him home! She is truly fantastic. We have had TONS of dogsitters over the years, many of them through Rover, and Jennifer is our absolute favorite (and Willy’s, too!)
Nev was quick to respond to any/all requests we had on a quick overnight trip out of town. We have a veryyyyyy hyper Goldendoodle pup and they handled his crazy behavior with ease. House was left in the same condition as we left originally which is always a major plus!
