About: I have been house sitting overnight since I was 14. I have experience working with dogs, cats, mice, and flying squirrels. Believe it or not, I have taken care of dogs who were indoor-trained only.I am also an experienced dog walker- not just with my own dogs but with friends' dogs that I've loved as my own. I will be working part time over the summer (8-12 Monday-Thursday) so I will have afternoons and nights available during the week. I also have most weekends free. I abide by the safety precautions at the homes I stay at (fences, ring cameras, etc). When I stay with indoor cats, I take extra precautions when leaving the house to make sure the cats don't escape.

About: I've taken care of dogs for most of my life! Family and friends are always able to rely on me for care of their four legged friends! I have 2 years experience in a veterinary setting and have experience with pets of varying ages and sizes as well as with giving medications. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic but have extended lunch breaks, early morning availability, and evening times to provide care! I am also available full time on weekends! I currently have 4 adorable cats who have free range of the house, following scheduled feeding times, and receieve regular veterinary care. Surrounded by all the toys and treats they could imagine!

About: New to Rover but not to pet sitting! My family has had dogs my whole life. As the oldest child in my household, I was responsible for all the little guys. Now I have an adorable, sassy cat at home who is a constant reminder of respectful boundaries and unconditional love. I’ve been a contact for family and friends when they need someone to watch or check in with their fur babies. I always want to make sure you and your pet are comfortable around me. I would be honored to care for your best friend. Don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding my services and we’ll see if I’m a good fit for you. I am currently in between jobs so I have a wide range of availability! In the future, I expect to be working part to full time during normal workweek hours 9-5, so would have more availability in early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby many dog-friendly trails. To stay at my home, your dog must be comfortable with cats, potty trained, and overall well-behaved. My cat has not had experience with other cats in our home so that is not something I am comfortable with. Around your home, I am happy to stick to whatever practices and routines are familiar and comfortable for your pet.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs, today both my sisters have a dog; a Golden Retriever & a German Shepard. I have watched and cared for both of them, as well as pet/house sitting for other family & friends. I also became a cat dad when I adopted a six year old cat three years ago! I just moved to CT so while I search for a job I decided to join Rover!! 6am-10pm 7 days a week I am available! I can be an early bird or a night owl & I love all animals! I can take your pet on a long run or a short walk and anything in between! Most of my experience is with bigger dog breeds like German Shepard, Golden Retriever, & Pit Bull. I have also cared for French Bull Dogs and other unknown dog breeds. I would love to work with any animals! My favorite part is learning how unique each animals is & getting to know their personalities!!

I feed my pets on a regular schedule, always making sure they have fresh food and water. In my clients home, I will adhere to any rules, or tasks that they ask me to do. About: Growing up with both cats and dogs, I’ve been around animals for most of my life. While I may not have formal pet care experience, I understand the responsibility and attention they require to feel comfortable and secure. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to providing the same level of care and respect that I would expect for my own pets. Whether it’s keeping an energetic dog engaged or ensuring a senior pet is comfortable, I strive to create a safe and positive experience while you’re away. With a busy work schedule, I dedicate one to two days a week to pet sitting, ensuring I can provide attentive and reliable care. By limiting my availability, I’m able to focus fully on each pet, giving them the time and attention they deserve. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable experience while keeping pet owners updated and informed. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment in every pet care experience. Whether providing care in my home or during walks, I ensure pets are in a secure, stress-free setting. I follow any specific instructions from owners, maintain a clean and pet-friendly space, and pay close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. My goal is to create a positive and safe experience, giving owners peace of mind while their pets are in my care.

“Lauren has stayed at my home several times and cared for my cats. They seemed to enjoy having Lauren around. They were well-fed, boxes were clean, and they even cuddled with her. She followed all of my instructions and left my home clean and tidy. Cats are generally easy but to have someone they warm up to is a treasure.”

“Thank you for your drop-in visits, Faith! You did an excellent job taking care of our 6 month old puppy. Boba was a happy pup with you around!”

Hunter P.
“Hunter has watched my pets for probably over 10 years. She is responsible, caring and goes the extra mile when sitting for my pets. Litter boxes always empty, bowls with fresh food and water as well taking the time to play and nurture the pets while I was gone on vacation. She has worked in pet hospitals as well, and very aware of the signs a pet may not be feeling their best.”

Caitlyn R.
“Cait did an amazing job watching my two dogs, Brutus and Koda, and my cat, Bean, over the long weekend. I was a little nervous to leave them for that long, but she really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She kept me updated every day with photos and little check-ins, which helped me relax knowing they were in good hands. Brutus can be a little anxious when I’m gone, and Cait was super patient with him — even figured out that he settles better when he gets his favorite blanket during downtime. Koda has a ton of energy, and Cait made sure he got plenty of playtime and walks to tire him out. At one point, Bean somehow knocked her food bowl behind the fridge (classic), and Cait didn’t just leave it — she actually moved the fridge, found it, and cleaned up the mess without even making a big deal out of it. I didn’t even know that was possible, honestly. I came home to a clean apartment, happy pets, and a note from Cait with a little summary of the weekend. It was such a thoughtful touch. I could tell she really cared about making sure everything was done right. Would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable, kind, and super capable pet sitter.”

Connor S.
“Connor has the right morals and ethics in all that he does He has had dogs growing up and can be counted on to “ do the right thing “ in every situation .”

Emma W.
