“Karen was a great dog sitter for our little guy. She sent photo updates, was kind, & we knew our dog was in good hands. We would definitely book with Karen again. Thank you.”

“Shauna and Nixley took wonderful day care of Moby for several days while we were visiting RI on vacation (and staying at a dog friendly hotel). They were incredibly flexible with drop off and pick up as our plans changed daily and Moby trotted into the house happily with them every morning. Lots of pics of Moby lounging on the sofa with them, and/or hanging out with another pup they were sitting, reassured us that he was happy and comfortable while the rest of the family got some much needed down time together. We hope to see them again while we're visiting the region next summer! Thank you:)”

“Thankful that Nala was able to watch my pup for a short time on short notice. Since it was a short time, I didn't get updates but Nala took my pup out for a short walk and gave me a good summary on pick up.”

“My puppy had a great time with Mary Jo and her family. She was amazing and accepted our last minute booking to save the day! She kept me posted on how he was doing too which was so nice. I wish I knew lots of people in the area so I could recommend her personally. I am so grateful to her and her family for taking such good care of my guy!!”

About: We care for our furry friends as if they are our children. We’ve never met a dog we didn’t fall in love with. I started training with dogs when I was in elementary school and never stopped. I got my Doberman Rowan right after graduating college and trained him myself starting at 8 weeks old. He grew into the most intelligent and obedient dog who blew away everyone with his performance and kind and calm nature. We know how important consistency is with ongoing training and we will be sure to conform to whatever your preferences are. Our Rowan had a series of health issues including several emergency events which taught us much about not only how to handle emergencies but also how to prevent them with careful monitoring, medicine administering, and providing them what they need. Our training continued when we foster-failed with our mix Suki, a friendly, mild mannered and sweet 1.5 year old. While our Rowan only lives on in spirit, Suki will entertain, play, and cuddle with your friend like they’re her sister. With my fully remote job I’m home all day. Cloé is a PhD student with variable schedules, so between the two of us your dog will get lots of stimulation, care, and attention. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. We’re here to help! If your dog is reliable off leash we have many options to get them exercised. I often run with Suki at Bluff Point and if your dog is up for it they could easily join us. We also take our dogs to several other trails in the surrounding area to provide them with stimulation through smells, meeting other dogs, and chasing squirrels. We truly know what it means to give your dog the stimulation and care they need. Our heart would hurt too much otherwise!

“Lourdes “Luli” was a stellar and responsive caretaker of my 8 mo, high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy. I was a bit nervous to be her first Rover client, but felt immediate comfort on the meet and greet. She and her delightful, well-behaved pup, Tito, were exemplary hosts. She took all my concerns in stride and made sure that my puppy had a safe, enriching and engaging experience. She sent lots of photos documenting his play and nap time with his new buddy. Luli was flexible about the drop off when my schedule unexpectedly changed and was always quick to return texts. My dog came back happy and relaxed and literally pulled me to her doorway each day of our stay. Her home was immaculate and puppy safe, with a small secure, enclosed yard for play. I have nothing but the highest regard for Luli, and her professionalism and warmth towards both me and my dog! She clearly is a dog whisperer and my dog, very attached to us, but eager to be left with Luli, confirms this. I have no reservations about emphatically recommending her!”

“I came into the area for the day and Elizabeth was so wonderful to watch my dog Daisy. She has such a lovely home and family. I would absolutely 💯% recommend Elizabeth. Daisy had a great day in her care!”

About: I have helped families take care of their pets (and kids!) for over 20 years! I just moved to Westerly with my husband, rescue pup, and sweet senior cat and we just had our first child. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Depending on the baby’s schedule, sometimes my husband does the visits for me or we all go together with the baby in a carrier— let me know in advance if you have any issues. Being a mother is my full time job, so my schedule is very flexible! Feel free to inquire about a date that is marked unavailable. I take into consideration what each pet needs during my visits, whether that’s a long walk, a few rounds of fetch or just some cuddles.

About: Dogs are truly my one passion. I'd love to help you and yours however I can! Growing up I've always had a variety of animals, but right now I have two dogs. Jojo (11yrs) and Libby (4yrs). They are everything to me and it gives me great pleasure to provide for them, ensuring their happiness and well being. I have experience with dogs of all ages, and pets of all kinds! I am a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) through PACCC. You can view my badge at - bcert.me/sizlosuuu ! Giving the highest quality care to your pups is my top priority. I have 8+ years experience in pet care, including 6 years Doggy Daycare Management and Puppy Room experience with puppies under 6 months. For a few years I was assisting in positive reinforcement dog training classes as well. I learned tips and tricks on how to gain attention with your dogs, leash walking skills, and much much more. I'm used to off leash group play (15+ dogs at a time), so dog walking and sitting full time is a bit new for me. But I am so excited to explore this new opportunity with you! I will use the skills I've acquired to ensure your dog is HAPPY and SAFE! I will love your pup just like my own. Looking forward to making memories and I can't wait to meet you all! Full time dog walking/drop ins + "almost" overnight sitting. Making early morning and late night trips to accommodate your pup. My own two dogs just need a regular check in half way through day. Communication is key. I would love to know all of your fur baby's habits and quirks so that I can adjust my routine or plan for the day. I like to do meet and greets before hand so that I can ensure all parties are comfortable and happy! Send me a message to chat with me and let me know what your needs are. I love to take pictures of our adventures together and share them with you as well!

About: My husband and I love dogs! We both work from home and love the extra company. We own 2 small dogs and 2 cats (who always stay downstairs). We live in a deeply wooded area so there is lots of area for a dog to play without the worry of traffic nearby. We do have an outdoor kennel if needed. Finally, we go to the dog park just about every day that is 1/2 mile from our house. We have watched 100s of dogs of all kinds as a foster rescue provider. We both work from home and are available at all hours. The only time we really go out is to take dogs for a hike. We have a spaciousness and open floor home. We have experience with all personality's and take their safety very seriously. We always leash dogs that we dont know because we want them to be safe.

About: I got my first dog when I was eight years old and have since owned four cats and two rabbits, and my family now has another dog. I have worked jobs since I was fifteen years old and I ran a petsitting business in my neighborhood while in high school and was trusted by neighbors, friends, and family members to care for their pets. I am also the eldest of six children and have a love of taking care of others. I am working full-time during the week, but I would be available to do morning, late afternoon, and evening check-ins. I will also be readily available on weekends! I have a large unfenced outdoor space, but with a stake and leash so that dogs can spend some time outside. There are also many walking routes near my home so I can take dogs on as many walks as desired. I have a dog that is friendly and also has another space in the house that he can go to if your dog would rather be alone.

About: I’ve taken care of family friends and neighbors dogs and cats for over 10 years. Love being able to spend time with them and the opportunity to see them happy. I currently work remote so have time during the day and nights to take care of all animals. Usually busy from noon to four to try and enjoy the back half of a ski day I enjoy taking dogs for walks or playing fetch. I am a very energetic person and feel well suited for any environment with all kinds of pets

William & Cloe B.
“In my opinion, there are dog sitters—and then there are dog whisperers. When it came to our beloved Shih Tzu, Tanya, I wanted someone with that special instinctive connection. William is exactly that. He didn’t just walk, feed, and play with Tanya—he tuned into her. She trusted him completely, and it was clear she felt safe, stimulated, and truly cared for in his presence. Will has a rare ability to blend play with gentle training, and every time he arrived, Tanya was thrilled to see him. Animals can sense when someone genuinely loves being with them, and Will absolutely does. He’s a great communicator, completely reliable, and someone we felt 100% comfortable leaving Tanya with. I highly recommend him to anyone lucky enough to find him.”
