About: As a true animal lover who misses her pets while away at school, I’m excited to offer hands-on care for a wide range of animal companions. I’ve raised cats, dogs, rabbits, and chickens, and I also work closely with the animal lab at the Science Museum of Virginia in my hometown of Richmond. There, I care for reptiles, amphibians, fish, and even arachnids, giving me both the compassion and confidence to care for exotic pets of all kinds. I’m a full time student at JMU, with classes M-Th, I am offering all day/as needed care on weekends starting Friday after 1pm. I am open to drop-ins and walks after 6pm weekdays, except Tuesday. About: Life is Good with pets! I have been providing professional pet care services for dogs for over 5 years. I have always had different dogs in my life from childhood to adulthood. I’ve seen how happy my own pet is from taking him on regular walks and I am excited to provide this same experience for other pets. I have a large, fenced yard in a semi-rural neighborhood, and I enjoy taking dogs on nice long walks. Pets are allowed on furniture to snuggle and I am also happy to crate train pets, if preferred. I have lots of energy and would love to walk/play with your fur babies. I have experience administering medication to animals, and aiding my elderly dog in her declining health. I’m currently out of school for the summer so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. Time with your pets will not be rushed. I can crate your dog if needed even if they are big/stubborn I am very strong even though I don’t look it this also goes for walking, I can ensure your dog doesn’t get off of the leash. About: I have loved all animals since I could remember. I have been dog sitting/walking for years and am known to be very reliable and dependable! I move in on August 15th and I am a fall sport athlete. With that being said, I will be very busy from August to beginning of November. But, please do not hesitate to reach out. “Moriah combines adroit technical expertise with amazing cat whisperer mojo. Our cat Casino needs to use an Aerokat steroid inhaler to control his severe asthma. (Steroid pills have twice given him diabetes.) It took me months to get to the point where Casino would sit beside me and take nine breaths while I held a rubber mask over his face. It’s tricky, and you can’t force it, because if he has an aversive experience, next time he may refuse altogether. Moriah had never used an Aerokat before. Although Moriah uses a similar device with her daughter, and has a lot of veterinary experience, our vet was skeptical, and advised that Moriah come over several times before we left, to learn and practice with Casino. This was not possible. Moriah said to just send her a video showing what Casino and I do with the Aerokat. So we did. Our first night on the road, Moriah sent a video of herself and Casino using the Aerokat PERFECTLY, all 9 breaths!!! In other matters too, she did a great job assessing and handling the situation. I would trust her to look after any special needs animal.”

About: I'm friendly with all kinds of pets, both kitties and doggos, I have a very peaceful home very welcoming to new critters. Plenty of room to run around and exercise. Currently working part-time for the summer, can easily give your fur baby's the attention they need whenever you're busy or out of town. Plenty of space behind the house to get them lots of exercise. Hardwood floors and a big grassy yard with a field behind the house. Very easy to walk super quiet neighborhood. Also have the ability to create your pets if necessary.

About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them.
