About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

“Rick took very good care of our girls and they loved all the attention. He sent lots of pictures to keep us updated. We will definitely use him again!”

“The setup and care Thor received was outstanding! Will definitely use Susan again! She sent pictures and updates frequently. He looked happy in the pictures. No concerns or issues at all.”

“Scout had a wonderful stay here! The yard and dog companion(s) was just what he needed and wanted. He came home happy and tired from all his fun times there! Don’t hesitate to send your dog this way. She even gave him a bath before sending him back home with us!”

About: What sets me apart is my dual expertise in professional dog training and quality boarding care. While most sitters focus solely on keeping your dog safe and fed, I create structured play groups and prioritize safe, supervised interactions. Your pup gets proper socialization with compatible dogs in a controlled environment, plus the security of someone who truly understands canine behavior and body language. I'm a certified trainer with 20 years of experience, so I understand dog behavior and can address issues like separation anxiety, leash pulling, or basic obedience during their stay. Whether it's reinforcing house training, working on "sit" and "stay," or helping with socialization, every day includes structured learning alongside plenty of play and affection. My home environment is designed with dogs in mind – secure, comfortable spaces where they can relax and learn. I maintain detailed notes on each dog's progress and provide updates to owners, so you'll know exactly how your pup is doing and what we've been working on. The result? You get exceptional boarding care with the option to add professional training services. It's the convenience of having both services available from one trusted, experienced provider who truly understands your dog's needs. As a dedicated full-time pet care professional, my entire day revolves around the dogs in my care. Your dog becomes part of my daily routine alongside my own pets, getting the same level of care and attention I give my own family. From morning walks to evening wind-down routines, I structure my schedule completely around providing consistent, attentive care without the distractions of other work commitments. Safety is my top priority, and my setup reflects that commitment. I'm fortunate to have 20 fully fenced acres where dogs can safely explore, run, and play with plenty of space to roam. Whether we're inside or outside, dogs are always under my direct supervision – I never leave them unattended in open areas. If I need to leave the home, each dog is safely secured in their own individual crate or kennel. This isn't just for security – it also gives anxious dogs a calm, quiet space and prevents any potential conflicts between pets. I have security cameras monitoring the kennel room, so I can check on everyone remotely and ensure they're comfortable while I'm away. No dog is ever left loose and unattended, giving you complete peace of mind about their safety and wellbeing.

“I am personally, a snob of sorts. I rarely find anyone...friends, vets, petsitters, etc that live up to my standards of how pets should be cared for. I am the friend that is silently (but sometimes quite loudly, too) judging you for the way you care for your pets. It's just who I am. Yes, I'm the person that treats animals just as lovingly as I do other humans. That being said, I have nothing but major kudos when it comes to Lynn. Yes, her name is Faye, but we call her Lynn. She treats her dog better than most people treat their own children. So yes, her heart is in it. Secondly, she is aware of acute changes and acts accordingly. Things that other pet owners may miss, she's vigilant about noticing. Increased respirations? She'll notice. Different looking poop? She'll notice. So yes, she's a smart cookie because it's important to her. I would not hesitate to leave any of my own crew in her care. I would not hesitate to have her in my home caring for them or for her to have my crew (albeit, a large one) stay with her in her home. That kind of trust can make a vacation so much more enjoyable. Some of my friends have had the absolute worse tragedies while on vacation. I would feel so secure having her watch over my precious little ones. Highly, highly recommended!”
