About: I have been caring for pets since a very young age, rarely going any time in my life without a cat, dog, mouse or snake! I am currently staying home full-time with plenty of space to welcome furry friends into our little sanctuary while providing lots of love, care, patience and play! We have a large yard with lots of space to play and run around. We offer an open door policy with canine friends who enjoy both inside and outside time. All pets are welcome to free roam our home as well!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.
About: Not only have I taken care of dogs for a family vet since I was 9, I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for years! I’ve taken dogs on countless walks, playdates, and even administered medication and provided first aid. Your pup is loved and cared for in my hands! I currently attend ETSU full time, with many gaps between my classes. I am available pretty much all day, every day, with the exception of a few one-hour classes! I come prepared to visit your pup! I let them approach me at their own speed, pace their walk how they please, and observe their body language and adjust accordingly! I have experience in introducing dogs, providing medical assistance, general care for all types of animals, and in rare cases, swiftly and safely breaking up dog fights.

About: Pet care is my full time job, so I have open availability! I am also a proud owner of a fully trained German Shepard. I’m open to doing dog walking/playtime, day sitting and overnights! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8. I absolutely love spending time outdoors and visiting the dog park. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, and have watched several pets besides my own. I currently attend App State as an IO Psychology Graduate Student, so I have a very flexible schedule. I frequently go for runs at local parks after work, and would love to bring your dog with! I have a backyard, but it is unfenced. However I am willing to take pets to any other locations, such as hiking trails or dog parks. I am able to spend time with pets because all of my free time is spent outdoors! Whether it's taking a walk around the neighborhood, running around a state park, or hanging out in the backyard, I enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather. I am not able to take dogs into my apartment, however I have a car for easy transportation to nearby outdoor areas. There are so many great options in Boone, I will definitely find a great place to take your dog!

I cannot say enough good things about Christine. She truly is a godsend and I am so very grateful we found her for our pups. We have three dogs, one of which has bad seizures on occasion. He is medicated and it’s pretty much under control but with some breakthrough seizures here and there. I’ve been so hesitant to leave him because of this. Knowing that Christine has tons of experience working with special needs dogs, and is comfortable with giving medication made me feel so at ease. Our dogs took to her right away and she with them. She showed up on time, stayed and played with them and even volunteered to help de shed our overly hair malamute. Her photos and follow ups were very thorough. She has cemented her place in our family as our go to caregiver for our fur babies.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
