About: My house is a great place for dogs to stay in the Brainerd Lakes area, I have plenty of room in the house, and have 13 acres of wooded property for them to enjoy when we go outside! ***Fall 2023 update**** I now have a fenced in backyard to utilize with pups coming over to visit! I have had a dog of my own growing up for 12 years. Currently, though I do not have any dogs. I used to volunteer part-time to train future service puppies for the blind for over 3 years. ( I have worked with 9 or 10 dogs in the Leader Dog for the Blind program) I have a flexible schedule, and I'm always willing to figure out a solid plan with potential people who need a sitter for their awesome furry friends. I am capable of working and looking after dogs with medical needs as well :). I have worked in probation, law enforcement, corrections, and mental health for over 11 years now. I am a very energetic person who enjoys exercising, and enjoy bringing dogs for walks. I have been on Rover for 4 years I enjoy traveling the world in my free time. ***I respond to requests generally within 10 minutes*** I have a pretty flexible schedule so I will do my best to assist with whatever drop off or pick up time you may have :). I now have a fenced in area in my backyard. My driveway is about a 1/4 mile from my house to the road so traffic is not a concern. I can crate if requested.

About: Rised on a hobby farm so grew up with all sorts of animals. My very own puppy came to me when i was 12 years old and have had a fur baby pretty much since. Over the last 6 plus years I have joined a pet service company based out of the Twin Cities who specialize in doggy day care, dog walks, pet sitting for vacation clients in their home and also in our home. Pets come first. Working from home gives us the flexibility to care for your pets 24/7. Plenty of exercise, play time and of course scratches and love time. When pets come into our home we treat them as if they are our own. Currently the big back yard is not fenced in, however that will be changing very soon. In the meantime we will be going on more walks and being outside with your pets on a leash. We have one furbaby, and he is definitely a spoiled baby. If for some reason our pets do not get along, we will have a separation for our pets to keep all safe and yet still make sure that your pet feels like they are at their 2nd home. About: Having spent my early years with our family dogs, I have come to an appreciation of the anxiety and work families go through in order to go on a trip without their beloved pets! Keeping your family pets in their own home reduces the stress on the family and the pet! We own a seasonal resort so we have limited availability for overnights June/July/August but are available for walking & attention throughout the day. Our resort is closed is mid-September through mid-May when we house-sit as well as care for our neighbors pets in their own home. Ideally we would like to meet the family and your pet before agreeing to home & pet sitting as we want a good match. Services offered: drop in care, pet walking, house sitting. Because we live in rural Minnesota, our fees reflect the additional transportation costs going to your home for services. When our seasonal resort is closed I am available most days and weekends. I have regular families on my schedule but only take one family reservation at a time. Prior to pet sitting in your home, I require meeting the owner and the pets. About: My grandma ran Duclos Pet Boarding for many years and I helped her run her business. I have a huge love for animals and while going through nursing school, I’ve decided to join Rover for a part-time job! This will be my only job as I am a student at Central Lakes College so my availability will always be open Monday - Sunday! I have two dogs myself a golden retriever and a German Shepherd and I treat those girls as if they are my children! About: I have cared for all kinds of animals since I could remember, from raccoons, rats, horses, and Guinea pigs to your more normal cats and dogs and lizards. I currently have a pup so I do pet care every day all day. She is a part of my family so she is never lacking when it comes to her care and exercise. I currently live in a townhouse and I don’t have a yard so we go for long walks on the edge of town multiple times a day as well as car rides. In my clients home I use the resources they have available (big yard either fenced or not) or we will just go for walks throughout the day. I make the care of the client the priority.

I understand the value of daily exercise and mental stimulation for a dog, so I will ensure they are getting their steps in. I work part time at the kennel, so availability does vary depending on the week. Daily my pups get fed twice and let out as often as needed. I have a 6ft privacy fenced yard to keep the pups safe. About: I have grown up with pets most of my life and will love on your fur babies as I loved mine. Puppies to Seniors will be extra spoiled in my care. I am available daily, M-F and some weekends. My schedule can be very flexible. Whether you want me to visit your pet at home for some love or take them out to play and walk, I can help. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and I started pet sitting when I was 12 and fell in love with it. I’ve worked as a lead kennel assistant at my local dog kennel and as an animal care technician. I’ve learn through my job field to administer medication whether it be oral or an injection and provide CPR in case of an emergency. I currently work full-time as a lead kennel staff. I’m off every Wednesday and Sunday and can provide drop in visits and hosting for your pet every 2-8 hours a day. On days off of work I can be there as long as needed. At my current home I have 30 acres of land for your pet to roam. We do not have a fence so I would supervise your pet. In a clients home I would give your pet lot of love, take proper precautions if your pet needs to be leashed, has aggression towards other dogs, make sure they are hydrated, fed and give them any supplements or medication that is listed during the meet and greet.

About: I have never owned a dog myself, but I have helped taken care of dogs of many kinds throughout the last 6 years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and let out their pets. I adore dogs! I am currently in the process of job hunting so I do not have a set schedule. Last summer our family said goodbye to our two dogs (a lab and a miniature dachshund) and in December we added a new mini dachshund to our house!
