“I've found my forever sitter! Haley was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My pets were very well cared for and loved playing with Haley's sweet and gentle dog, Sophie. We returned home to find happy dogs with full water bowls, the mail stacked neatly, plants watered and the floors swept up from my shedding husky. Haley was very tidy and respectful while we were gone. She sent us regular updates and pictures of our doggies. We were so happy with her services and can't wait to travel more now that we've found her!”

“Dani was truly wonderful with our pups. She was very attentive and we very much appreciated the photos and videos that she sent during her stay with them. Thank you Dani for taking such good care of them.”

“Lydia helped us out with our older pup. He's finikey and not a morning dog when comes to his medicines! She did great in getting the meds down. Thanks again Lydia for helping us the last 2 weekends!!!”

“Olivia was wonderful! She stayed at our house 5 nights with our senior dog. He took to her immediately when we met her for the first time. She left our home exactly how we left it - we almost wouldn’t have known she was there! We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her hands.”

“Gigi was amazing! She made us feel at ease while we were away with her quick communication and updates with pics of my dog. She left our house spotless and maybe even a little cleaner when we got back.😄 We definitely recommend Gigi!”

“Katie was prompt, attentive and sent a picture and an update while we were gone!! Definitely will be using her again ♥️”

“Alison is amazing and I highly recommend her! She was my first sitter using Rover and the first dog sitter I’ve hired that I didn’t know. She took excellent care of my senior dog Jax (13 year old malamute mix with arthritis who is on multiple medications) and excellent care of my home! I was nervous about leaving him, but my nerves were instantly calmed when I met her for an introduction meeting before my trip. She sent multiple photos each day and her updates on how he was doing made me feel like she genuinely cared about him. I usually get some attitude from Jax for leaving him, but he was in such good spirits when I came home that I really think he enjoyed his time with her. The house was the least of my concerns, but she took excellent care of that as well! Don’t hesitate to book with her if she’s available! I would give her 100 stars if possible.”

“Tammy always takes the best care of my kitties! She send frequent updates and pictures. It’s hard to leave my babies but knowing Tammy is staying with them makes me feel confident they are in good hands.”

About: Having grown up on a farm, caring for animals has always been second nature to me—especially dogs. From an early age, I learned the responsibility and joy that comes with tending to animals of all kinds, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well cared for. Many of the pets I have today were either rescues or animals I took in to help owners during times of transition. Currently, our family dog is nearly 15 years old and requires specialized care due to multiple health issues. This has given me extensive experience in administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and providing the patience and attention that senior dogs require. Whether it’s a young, energetic pup or an older dog needing extra care, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet. Dog sitting isn’t just about supervision—it’s about ensuring each dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. With my background and deep love for animals, I strive to make every dog feel like part of the family. I work from home and run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and loving care for pets. Being home throughout the day allows me to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times. I provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and at ease. From feeding and playtime to administering medications and offering plenty of affection, I tailor my care to each animal’s needs. Whether they need extra attention, a calm space to relax, or special care, I make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and right at home.

“Lexi is one of the best sitters out there! You can tell she is passionate for animals and treats them as her own. She was so great at communicating with us and is very responsive. We received a video update on our pups as well. The house was left in the same shape we left it in. Very kind, sweet, and caring girl!”

“Back to back stays and we couldn't be happier. Our dog was not on her best behavior for this one, but Shelly rolled with it and really saved the day. We are so fortunate to have found you on Rover. Thank you Shelly!”

“Sarah was wonderful once again. The pups love it when she comes to visit. She does such a great job with them. We are so lucky to have found her!”

“Shelby was great with the boys. They seemed happy and calm when I got home from a longish trip. She contacted me immediately when there was a bit of a scuffle and handled a couple of surprises well.”

“Stacey was amazing and went above and beyond for me and my pets. She mentioned she has 3 large dogs and her experience really showed. At one point I ran out of dog food and she offered to go pick some up. She also watched over my guinea pig and took great care of him, since she has rabbits of her own. I will definitely be booking her again and again!”

“Kyla was a fantastic pet sitter. She took care of our two dogs and cat while our family was on vacation. She kept us updated with pictures; she gave our animals plenty of love, and she made our vacation better because we knew our animals were cared for. No issues. We would absolutely invite her back to watch our animals again. Highly recommend!”

“Christina was great stopping in to feed and let my dogs out. She did great with one of my dogs who is very anxious. She also helped feed my guinea pigs while I was away which was very appreciated!”

“Ann was fabulous with our elderly min pin and kitty. They both have meds and a schedule that works well and Ann was able to master that for the time she cared for our two furry kids. She spent a couple of nights and days and both pets were calm and fine when we returned. I would have Ann sit for our kiddos again!”

About: I did an internship at medical mutts where I trained service dogs and helped take care of them. I’ve watched friends dogs. I train dogs too! About: Hello! My name is Nicole, and I recently moved to the Martinsville area and am reopening my pet sitting business. I’ve been providing professional pet care for dogs and cats since 2016, and my boyfriend, Evan, and I are excited to continue offering services here. We're animal people. We share our home with two senior cats and a playful young Basset Hound named Banjo. I am a nurse by profession, so I’m comfortable giving all types of medications. My boyfriend, Evan, works from home, which means there’s always someone around to give your pets undivided attention, frequent walks, and potty breaks. We're well-experienced with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. The dogs we sit in our home must be comfortable with cats and other dogs. We offer a calm, quiet environment for docile, shy, or senior dogs, and for young or active dogs, we can provide a fun and playful atmosphere. We're also comfortable reinforcing any obedience or training you've been working on, so your pet won't miss a beat. If you're looking for a safe, loving home for your pet while you're away, we'd be honored to take care of them! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet. My partner and I work from home so we are here and very attentive to all pets that we board. We're familiar with basic dog training, obedience, and safety. We live on a quiet farm in a small house. The area is really quiet and not close to any main roads. We prioritize safety for our pets and boarders
