Sheila sent me a lot of pictures and kept me informed about how Jake was doing. Sheila said that she primarily takes small dogs, but that she will occasionally take a big dog like Jake (Lab), as long as the big dog is well behaved. I believe that Jake was well behaved at her house. I will have to check with Sheila to see if she will take him again in the future.”

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

About: Pets have always been center stage in my life. Currently I share my home with three cats and a granddog who likes to visit and go for walks with me. About: I have two dogs of my own, Kirby 3 years old (mix of we aren't sure) and Jerry 8 years old (Yorkshire terrier) and I have many foster dogs in and out of my home as I work with a local rescue to save dogs from the shelter and unwanted homes. People say I'm an "animal person" because I like all animals...even snakes :) I have a very flexible schedule and am available most times of the day and each day of the week. About: I grew up with labs and when I was in high school, my mom adopted cats. I adopted my own cats in January and November of 2023. Through my time on Rover and Wag!, I have experience with all sorts of dogs! My gallery consists of all of the animals I have cared for as well as my own pets:) I just started my master’s program at the University of Indianapolis and am in classes for roughly 12 hours/week between TWR. I am out of class no later than 4 pm. As of January 2026, I will be working MWF from 3-6 pm in Westfield.
