“We were here from out of town 100% recommend her . trust her 100% this is the first time our dogs have ever gone to a drop in through Rover and she put her mind at ease.”

About: I was raised in a rural area with 10 acres of land, and we have always had pets. I've always had a furry child; there has never been a moment in my life without one. I've had the pleasure of raising a variety of dogs throughout the years, as well as two cats. I now have a well-behaved, two-year-old black Lab named Jake. When he was just a tiny puppy, I started training him. He continues to pick up new skills despite having many masteries. I have given Jake all of his training and skills, and even though I have some training expertise, I am not a certified trainer. Jake and I spend a lot of time exercising because we enjoy being outside. Some days, we take a quick lap or two around the block, and others we go for a lengthier walk on the trails! I am a rule-follower, and your pet's health, happiness, and safety are always my top priorities. I am available for drop-in visits (bathroom breaks and feedings), walks, and baths (no grooming). If there is any way I can assist you with your furbabies, kindly let me know! I work three days a week at my full-time job and go to college full-time. I spend a lot of time at home and have time for walks, exercise, baths, and drop-in visits for potty breaks, feedings or check in on your fur babies. I am currently unable to accept any pets for boarding or home-sitting for more than a few hours due to my work and academic commitments. Your pets will be treated the same way I treat mine: as members of the family. At times, my Jake virtually owns the home! While I do let my baby sit on my furniture, I will always abide by your house's pet-related rules. Just make sure to let me know what they are so I can make sure we're acting properly. Currently, I am not available at this time for pet boarding. I do charge for pet baths and it's arranged by weight. Rover only lets me set one price for all and I don't charge one price for all dogs. Please message me if you're interested in having your pet washed and ill tell you my price based on their size/weight.

“It was actually a boarding! Let me tell you… my baby was so refreshed. We went on vacay abs so did he! He doesn’t make friends very well bc he is awkward. But Diesel made him a friend. I love Angel’s energy and everything about her and her home. ❤️”

About: I’m a lifelong pet lover who treats every animal like family. With 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I’m well-versed in animal care and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. While your pet stays with us, they’ll enjoy plenty of love, snuggles, and playtime. My family adores dogs, and our younger pup is always excited to make new friends and play as much as your pet wants! I understand the stress of leaving your furry family member behind, and I’m here to ease that worry by giving them a safe, happy, and loving home-away-from-home. I am a teacher and my husband runs a business. He is able to come home during the day and let the pups outside to potty and check on them. I am home by 4:30 everyday. I also have all school breaks off- more time for me to spend with your pups. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for them to run and stretch their legs. We love to take nightly walks through the neighborhood. I play with the dogs as much as they want to play and snuggle them when they want to relax.
About: Hi! My name is Aniyah, and caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. During high school I worked as a veterinary assistant, where I completed over 300 hours of hands-on experience in a professional veterinary clinic. This experience taught me how to properly handle dogs of different breeds and temperaments, recognize signs of stress, and ensure every pet receives safe and attentive care. In addition to my veterinary experience, I started my own dog grooming and dog walking business last year. Grooming has quickly become one of my specialties because I enjoy helping dogs look and feel their best while keeping the experience calm and positive for them. I focus on providing gentle grooming and attentive care, especially for dogs that may feel nervous during grooming or in new environments. I look forward to providing your dog with reliable, compassionate care. If you’re looking for someone with veterinary experience, a gentle grooming approach, and a safe environment for your dog, I would love the opportunity to care for your pet. 🐕✂️ Because I am currently focused on growing my pet care business, I have very flexible availability throughout the week. I am available Monday through Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my highest priority. I have a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. Your pet will receive attentive supervision and structured care at all times while in my care to ensure their safety and comfort. My veterinary assistant background also helps me recognize when a dog may be stressed or uncomfortable so I can respond quickly and appropriately
About: Working from home allows me to give every animal in my care the attention and love they need as well as the flexibility to work with parents schedules. 10 years of experience working with dogs and cats both high energy, shy/nervous, needing extra attention, dogs who need separation from other dogs, both small and large! I have plenty of space in the back yard as well as toys both inside and out to make sure every fur baby is able to get their zoomies out, plenty of play time and comfort inside my home as well! I do not kennel any dogs unless the parents state that they need to be at any specific time for any reason. I want to provide a stress free experience where both fur babies and parents are taken care of. I want parents to feel confident in knowing their babies are safe and I will treat them as if they were my own babies, I taught my dog, to be able to go to the dog parks and be social nonaggressive. I specifically taught him to be gentle with cats and dogs growing up so he loves everyone. I do have extra space in my home so if someone needs to be separated or have a little bit of some space way while receiving the same quality care, they are able to have that! If I go into your home it is specifically to give the babies play times with any toys you allow me to use and just show them the same loving and petting I would for my babies. 🐾 If you have a questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask I am here to help you have a peace of mind! ☺️ I work from home so I am actively able to provide daily outside playtime and potty time during the day and some much needed sun bathes for the sun bathers. I am able to provide a good feed schedule as well treat times! It is a pleasure to be able to work from home and effectively care to the needs of each furbaby! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. With my experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your furry family members!❤️ I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and individual needs to ensure every pet receives personalized care, patience, and plenty of affection. I believe communication is extremely important, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check ins for peace of mind. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,854 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Ferris. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ferris commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,854 sitters in Ferris, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
