About: Hello! I am an online Spanish teacher and am able to be pretty near anywhere as long as there is wifi! I have been watching all kinds of animals for several years. I grew up on a farm and I am used to early mornings and routines. Getting outside and being active is a must in my life. As well as cuddling and having a calm evening of pets and loves. I am a big time animal lover and work hard to create a positive bond with every animal I am caring for. It is important for them to feel loved and safe when their human is away. Important details to keep in mind is my partner (Sam) and bonus kiddo (Marcus 9) will be staying with me at times if I am in-house pet sitting and during the school year I will have early morning drop offs and evening pick ups every other week (: the other important detail is houses with inside cameras will need to be disabled for profesional and personal privacy! Currently I have a seasonal plant vendor job in the summer for 2-4 days a week in the mornings which will require me to be away for 3-5 hours depending on the work load. I look forward to meeting and greeting you and your fur babies! I work from home, light mornings and heavy evening schedule. I simply need wifi to teach my classes and have a flexible schedule when needed. I will take care of the tasks asked of me and can use my own expertise on taking care of a situation that may not have been covered. Open communication is important and necessary -feeding schedules -exercise needs -an abundance of cuddles -photo check ins to ease your mind as well

“Jennifer has been wonderful with Winnie. She walks and plays with her during her drop in times and Winnie gets a break from the crate. I feel comfortable knowing she is in good hands. I highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Sarah always does a great job. She is very respectful and courteous when house sitting and is good at communicating. Most importantly, my elderly (and very picky cat who doesn’t like people) adores Sarah.”

“Shelley took amazing care of our cat for a week while we were away. Our cat can be quite anxious but settled right in with Shelley. We received updates and photos, and our cat looked so relaxed and happy during her stay. Thank you, Shelley!”

About: I have a lot of love for animals. I am interested in dog walking or taking care of dogs/cats when you just need a little vacation to yourself or a busy day ahead! I have two years of experience with dog sitting. I have taken dogs on walks, stayed over night at the owner's home, fed them, play with them, and clean up after them when they have accidents. I have also taken dogs to vet appointments. I am not afraid of any type of dogs. They have this effect on me that makes me fall in love with them or feel better when I'm feeling down. I’m currently off of my main job as a special needs aide at a middle school as it is summer time! I have a lot of free time right now. I always want pets to feel safe and secure when they’re with me. I like using a soft voice with dogs, unless told to be more stern by the owners. I have experience with dogs that have been abused and are more timid, I usually sit on the floor with them until they trust me enough to come up to me.

About: I have multiple years of professional experience working for humane societies Including being a dog kennel technician where I was responsible for feeding, giving medication, walking, and cleaning up after dogs of all ages and sizes and backgrounds I have two 8 year old small dogs that are my whole life I have had multiple dogs throughout my life and love them more than humans I can help with puppy care and training as I have worked with multiple dog trainers I have experience working with senior dogs and giving them medicine and helping with rehabilitation with injuries My own special dog has IVDD and goes to physical therapy every week so I have learned a lot there as well and my other dog has DDD. If I stay at your home I will arrange for my family to care for my own dogs durning that time. I’m currently working for my family business and work mornings a few days a week for about 4-5 hours I have time throughout the week to help you care for your pups! Gently and safely will gain the trust of your dog/dogs to help them feel comfortable with me. Dogs are treated better than humans in my household and my own dogs are like children to me. “Kristina was wonderful! She kept us apprised of how everyone was doing daily which was great. But most importantly, the cats were happy with her. She was able to medicate those on meds the first day - which for a bunch of indoor/outdoor cats and someone they don’t really know is amazing. We also had to make some last minute changes in our plans (because ice) and she was completely fine with that. We also loved that she had experience with chickens and exotic birds as we may be adding those to our family. We very much hope to work with her again.”

“Danielle was everything we hoped for and more, ensuring our cat was visited daily (even on Christmas Day). She sent darling videos and photos and he was obviously given a ton of love. We feel such relief knowing she will be part of our travel plans when we need a cat sitter.”

About: Hello! My name is Samantha and I am 25 years old. I joined rover to earn some extra money while spending some time with furry (or non furry) friends. I have volunteered at local shelters and have watched the animals of my family and friends since I was about 10 years old. I treat each and every animal with the love, care, and respect that they deserve. I am very compassionate and take the time to tend to one’s animals as if they were my own. My rates are flexible depending on the animal(s), and the situation. I am able to flex my schedule around your needs! I work full time but I am able to work remotely if needed and can take breaks throughout the day if necessary. I often do not watch animals in my home due to my 6 fur babes. However, depending on the situation, and the animal, a short stay in my home may be an option. Hopefully I can be your next pet or house sitter. I have recommendations upon request. I am looking forward to speaking with you soon!!

Mitzi W.
“In a world where finding reliable pet care can often feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, we were fortunate to discover Mitzi. As we prepared for a long-awaited vacation, our minds were filled with excitement, but there was also a lingering concern about leaving our four furry companions behind. Who would care for them? Fortunately, our worries were quickly alleviated when we entrusted our dogs and home to Mitzi. From the moment Mitzi stepped through our front door, it was clear that she was more than just a pet sitter; she was a guardian of our beloved fur babies. Her warm demeanor and genuine affection for animals shone through, instantly putting both us and our dogs at ease. It was as if our dogs sensed her kind energy, welcoming her with wagging tails and eager barks. This was the first indication that we had made the right choice. Throughout our vacation, we received regular updates from Mitzi, each message brimming with details about our dogs’ activities and antics. She shared stories of playtime in the backyard, cozy snuggles on the couch, and even the occasional mischief that our dogs managed to get into. Her diligence in keeping us informed not only reassured us but also highlighted her commitment to ensuring that our pets felt loved and secure in our absence. Upon our return, the undeniable bond that had formed between Mitzi and our dogs was evident. They greeted her with unreserved enthusiasm, their joyful barks and playful leaps demonstrating their affection for her. It was heartwarming to witness how our dogs had embraced Mitzi, a true testament to her nurturing spirit and ability to connect with animals. The way they interacted with her spoke volumes; it was clear that they felt safe and cherished in her care. Mitzi’s reliability and dedication extended beyond simply feeding and walking our dogs. She took the time to engage with them, tailoring her approach to meet each dog's unique personality and needs. Whether it was playing fetch with our exuberant Labrador or offering gentle strokes to our shy rescue pup, she showed an admirable understanding of their individual temperaments. This personalized care not only reinforced their trust in her but also ensured that their emotional and physical well-being was prioritized. it is evident that Mitzi is a gem in the realm of pet care. Her diligence, reliability, and heartfelt”
