“Ringo always perks up when we pull up to Gwens house for daycare! He is always greeted warmly and has a great time during his days at Gwens. He always sleeps well when he is finished a doggy daycare day and loves coming back for playtime each week :)”

About: I am a doggy and a kitty mom! I have four dogs and two kitties. I work a full time job at Chewy (night shift) four nights a week. I live on about 11 acres of land, lots of space to explore with your pup! I adore dogs and I like helping people, so providing lots of love, exercise, and snuggling for the pup/kitty while the owner is away is something I like to do. Since my schedule is flexible, I'm able to provide walks or drop in services for dogs & cats while the owners are away or at work. I've cared for pets that belong to my friends for about 10 years or so. If you have any questions, please ask - I am happy to answer them! Let me love on your cute pets while you're away so your mind can be at ease! I am available between the hours of 7am and 4pm Sun-Wed and am available all day Thurs-Sat. Let your dogs come play while you're working or out for the day! I have four super friendly little dogs. I fostered for two years and have been dog sitting consistently since 2020. So my dogs are very used to meeting new friends and I just love helping people with their babies! 😊

“Had a great time sitting Stella with them this week, Stella is looking forward to it in the future!”

About: I have had dogs all of my life, from boxers to mini dachshunds to my current ACD mix Flea, and have extensive experience in walking, playing, grooming, administering medicine, and training for obedience and tricks. I love taking Flea on walks through the parks around York or playing with him (spiky ball fetch is his favorite) in the backyard. Looking for a home away from home for your dog? I offer premium daycare and boarding with a focus on safety, comfort, and fun. Your pup will stay in one of three large (40.5" L x 34" H x 27" W at smallest), secure Impact dog crates. Each one spacious and designed to reduce anxiety. These crates are located indoors in a temperature-controlled room with AC and heating, and they’re used primarily for sleep and for keeping pups safe and calm between their free-roaming rotations in the house. What really sets us apart is our one-acre, fully fenced yard—plenty of space for running, exploring, and all kinds of tail-wagging play. We also have a kiddie swimming pool (63" wide and ~6" deep) for supervised swim sessions and a variety of enrichment activities to keep your dog mentally and physically engaged throughout the day. Whether your dog loves to romp, splash, explore, or just relax in the sun, this is a place where they’ll feel safe, happy, and right at home. For added convenience, I offer pick-up and drop-off services and I’m happy to bathe, brush, and provide light grooming for daycare and boarding dogs during their stay. Just let me know what your pup needs! I’m a full-time home gardener, so I’m at my house nearly every day. Aside from a class I attend in Harrisburg on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4–7 PM, I rarely leave—except for the occasional dog walk or drop-in through Rover. That means dogs in my care get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Whether they need playtime, potty breaks, or just someone nearby to feel safe, I’m here to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. Outside, the dogs have free access to a doggy pool in the summer to cool off. We have neighbors, but our yards are not adjoined. So, you can feel at ease that your dog will have fun and be undisturbed by other people or dogs while enjoying the backyard. Personally, pet care is a daily activity for me and I am constantly looking for new ways to enrich my dog's life. We exercise for at least an hour each day and I hand feed him every night. I teach him new skills or tricks to keep his mind sharp and to provide some mental stimulation. We do a full grooming routine on a weekly basis consisting of coat brushing, tooth brushing, ear cleaning (not always necessary), nail clipping, and a general health checkup. We use treat games and he loves to play "mom hides, I seek." I care for pets by making sure they are always in a safe environment, first and foremost. I understand which objects or foods may cause them harm and am careful to pick those up or keep them in areas my pets can't reach. I make sure they do not come into contact with strangers or other animals. I make sure to get them the appropriate amount of physical and mental exercise they need to feel calm and fulfilled every day. My dog has free access to a large crate with a bed if he wants to hangout in there, which he loves to during downtime. If there are fireworks or strangers over and he needs safety and comfort, I close the door but don't leave him in there unless necessary. He has free access to clean water at all times, a treadmill if the weather is too bad for a walk (or if I'm injured), and is hand fed by me so I can make sure he gets every piece down (he once had a choking incident and I performed a canine Heimlich to clear his airway, so I never let my dogs eat unsupervised anymore). I will do the same for your pet--I'll make sure they are enjoying their lives because (in my opinion) our pets are the real angels on Earth. They offer us unlimited love and we owe them the same. I'll keep them safe and we'll have tons of fun together!

“So glad we found Tracy! She treated our pups with great care and affection. Her knowledge of pets and their behaviors is impressive. She allows them to set the pace for interaction, rather than push her agenda on them. It was also very reassuring to know that she is first-aid and CPR certified. The safety of our pets was paramount. We had some extenuating family circumstances that brought us to the area, and Tracy was so accommodating. Her willingness to flex our drop off and pick up times was so very much appreciated.”

“Timothy is a wonderful doggie sitter! My dog had a great time hanging out with him and came home content and tired. Thanks again!”

“Opal had SOOO much fun! He was so pooped after playing he took a long nap! Thank you for taking such great care of him! I will book you again!”

“Krista has dropped in and taken care of our dog and also our dog has done doggy daycare with her- both were great experiences! Krista is dependable and sent frequent check ups. Will definitely book with her again!”

"Beauty, Norm, Becka & Mr. Hank" About this sitter: Feel free to get in touch with me about any of your pets needs & concerns. Namaste, Lynn "Beauty" B., NREMT-BCMT, HHP Why I love dog sitting I've been dog owner & lover since childhood. I've worked with award winning breeders, trainers & kennels from coast to coast. I'm the Past President of the German Shorthair Rescue Society of So. CA <gsp dash rescue dot org> & my husband Norm of almost 21 years was Past Vice President. He's also a life long dog owner & lover too. Meet my pets "Becka & Mr. Hank" (German Shorthair Pointers) are waiting to make new fur-ever friends with your pets. About my yard Our HUGE backyard has a LARGE 5' fence with beautiful lush grass for your dogs relief area. It's a beautiful back yard with plenty of room to run & play. There is also a large shaded area that attaches to the house for the "dog days" of summer. We even have a kiddie pool to cool off in! Your pet may not want to go home after staying with us. :-) My experience administering medication Yes. I've had quite the experience dealing with dogs in need. One of our dearly departed GSP's "Star" had epilepsy & needed a variety of medications. With out these, she wouldn't have had a longer life. It was a blessing to be able to help her live longer by giving her her daily medications. Mr. Hank & Becca are our fur babies! Everyday is an adventure and we wouldn't know what to do without them. :-) See you soon! Daily meals, walks, play time, potty breaks and cuddles are our everyday events. We make sure your pet becomes part of our family. Special dietary needs and medications are also addressed with your pets needs.

“We were visiting York for the fair and needed to get a sitter last minute. Allison was quick to respond, super sweet, and was amazing with our frenchie. Thank you again!!”

About: Welcome to Pop's Fetch & Rest. I'm a retired Army Officer and live alone in a cozy single story cottage. The property is unfenced so being on leash is essential. I typically am not away from home for more than 2 hours at a time so dogs become the center of my happy little world. I have owned dogs all my life and am experienced in administering medications. Being retired, I am quite flexible and available to schedule with short notice or longer range planning. Other than Church on Sunday, no real commitments. A stay with me would be like a visit with an old friend...a nice balance of play & rest. Bird and squirrel watching is optional.

About: I grew up on a farm caring for cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, turkeys, and a donkey. I love animals and have an adorable and lovable Great Pyrenees Husky named Bottega. I am a medical professional looking to do what I love on my free time. I am a full time Behavioral Health Specialist at a school, so I am currently available around my schedule Monday- Friday 8am-3:00pm. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I provide 24/7 services on Winter, Spring and Summer breaks. My dog is currently on a set schedule for potty breaks 2-4 hours, medications and breakfast, 1-2 hours exercise, dinner, and bed time. I would fit your furry friend into the schedule with him! I have Bottega crate trained and house trained, so I can help with training your pet as well. I enjoy taking dogs to the dog park or hiking trails for exercise.

About: I want to offer quality , loving care for seniors and I want to keep my rates low because seniors tend to sleep a lot and it's hard to justify paying $50 daily to board a sleeping dog. I love older dogs and have lots of experience with them. I tend to only rescue seniors now because they just want to snuggle. My husband and I are both retired and have experience with administering meds. I currently have 2 senior dogs (one large and one small) who are very dog friendly however they do bark. And they don't want any dogs trying to play with them So if your dog gets anxious with barking or wants to play with them, especially during meet and greet, it may not be a good fit. I will only board one client at a time. I'm currently retired so I'm home all day. I have a fenced yard and a nice big couch to snuggle on. I'm home almost all day (aside from an occasional shopping trip). I have a fenced yard and 2 older dogs. I tend to baby my dogs and will baby yours too. I can give meds when needed. I would require a meet and greet prior to booking.

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life, and have owned multiple rescue dogs since I was 22 years old. I often assist my neighbors and family with their pets. My dogs are 100% my top priority! I have 2 small dogs who I currently take out every 2-3 hours. I am a dedicated dog momma that prioritizes them, making pet care a daily routine. I adjust to the temperament of the dog. It's important to make them feel comfortable in the home at all times. I let my dogs graze, with food and water available to them at all times. But this can be adjusted to your pups needs. We also walk daily (at least once a day), and treats are provided after successful potties outside. I also provide a variety of toys, blankets, and beds for my dogs.

About: I have had experience with dogs for over 20 years, and 2 years with cats/kittens. I am comfortable caring for puppies, senior pups, and large dogs as well. I have a passion for treating animals with the love, respect and care that they deserve. 🐾🤍 If you've never booked through Rover before, you can use code: CHRISS08258 when you book with me for $20 off your first time! I currently homeschool my 2 kids (ages 5 and 7), and work a part time job on the weekends. I have a lot of flexibility in our schedule to help with your animals! If an animal is being cared for in my home, we do not have a fenced yard and currently let our pup out on a chain with plenty of space to use the potty, or walks on the leash can be provided as well. We have a crate to use, if needed. We have a 1 year old golden retriever (Archie), and a cat (Isla), and 2 kids under the age of 10 that your animals would coexist with when being cared for in our home. We want to make your pet feel right at home when they are with us and will be happy to accommodate in any way we can so that you & your pet feel at ease when you're apart!

About: Have rescued and cared for dogs of every size and age and fostered 3 dogs for military families on short-term and long-term deployment and currently care for a cat and mini horse, too. I teach private guitar lessons and perform for local gigs, also produce music and create art so am home often or within a few miles. I have a multi fenced yard and three levels in my house, guests may play with my 3 dogs and cat or be safely housed on a different level or even crated if preferred

About: I just love animals I will take care of them like they are my own. Because we all know they are our family. They are like kids. I am off most weekends. Friday to Sunday I get of work at 430 pm. Monday though Thursday. Hope this works for you. Thank you Like that was my own. I will take care of them the same way you take care of your pet. Because we know our pets are family. Also I don’t know how to change about pets not being allowed on furniture but they would be allowed on mine. If you allow it. Like said will treat and hold pets to your rules and regulations just as if I were you.

“Flexible, timely, accountable, communicative, and overall very trustworthy doggy daycare sitter who has a lot of dog experience under her belt and knows what to do. Kayla provided real-time updates on the dog throughout the day and made doggy daycare a very wonderful experience. 5 stars!”

Other than a few scheduled trips, I'm always home or in the area. I have tons of flexibility to help out. It's really difficult to trust someone with your pet- I totally get it. 11. Peter C.
“I have been friends with Peter for the past six years. He is a wonderful person as well as a very special dog lover. He was a dog owner for many years until the death this past Christmas of his precious English Springer Spaniel, Hunter. Peter is a very kind-hearted person - to dogs as well as people. He and Hunter had many fun play times together. Whenever Pete would be gone from home for a long period of time, he made sure that he had someone who would come to his home and walk and/or feed Hunter. I remember him taking Hunter to the vet so many times as the dog got older and older and needed treatment for his aging problems. Hunter was a very well-cared for dog, as are other dogs he watches on occasion. One of his daughters has 5 dogs and when she will be away from home for longer than normal, Pete is the one she leans on to care for her dogs, and I do believe he loves every minute of it. A dog lover would not go wrong to have Peter caring for his beloved dogs.”

12. Megan R.
“Absolutely fantastic pet sitter! Megan took such amazing care of my cat and Shih Tzu while I was away, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She went above and beyond, keeping me updated with adorable photos and making sure both my pets were happy, well-fed, and loved. My usually shy cat even warmed up to her, which says a lot! My pup was well-exercised and clearly enjoyed every moment with her. I came home to two relaxed, happy pets and a spotless space. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and truly great with animals, Megan is the best choice. Highly recommend!”

13. Pamela J.
“Pam is great with my fur babies and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. Not only is she great with pets, but she also has a special touch when it comes to senior pets. My older dog requires extra care and attention, and Pam went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.”

14. Jordan A.
“I’ve known Jordan for years and can confidently say she’s a fantastic pet parent. She takes amazing care of her two dogs, and it really shows in how happy and well-behaved they are. We regularly bring our own dog over to her house, and it’s always a smooth, stress-free experience. Jordan is responsible, loving, and completely in tune with the needs of animals—any pet would be lucky to be in her care!”

15. Christy S.
“I have known Christy for over 20 years and she has always had a love for animals. In her adult years she also expanded her love for animals to rescue animals. She had two dogs who had homes before hers but were welcomed and loved unconditionally until their dying breathes. Most recently she rescued a cat from the city (who she did not know was pregnant!) she didn’t bat an eye when she found out she was carrying kittens but instead gave her even more love and made she she was able to birth her kittens in a comfortable safe environment and then found safe and loving homes for the kittens. Christy is very responsible and goes all in with any task she has. She is a loving and devoted mother to her human and fur babies. She lives an active and healthy lifestyle and I have no doubt that whatever your pets needs are she would make sure to care for them as her own!”
