About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 3 years of professional experience working as a pet care and doggie daycare attendant. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities — especially large breeds and high-energy dogs. I currently have 3 pitbull mixes and cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, patient, and experienced caring for your pets. I also have experience administering medications and caring for pets with different needs and temperaments. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, playtime, or just someone to give them extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, and I’m happy to work with what makes them most comfortable. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely love spending time with animals — honestly, dogs are usually easier than people 😂 I’m a stay at home mom with a 3 year old in pre school. I have very flexible availability and availability most days of the week! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats as well I’ve worked with animals in my past and I’m a huge animal lover! I’ve worked at 2 doggy day cares and also have pet care experience

About: *Note about rates and dates* I'm happy to discuss/negotiate amicably agreed upon $$rates but please understand, Rover takes 20% and I pet sit full time so this is my main source of income. Additionally, my sister is on Rover. Her name is Brett. If I'm unavailable, I highly recommend reaching out to her! She has 3 years experience pet sitting. Her link https://www.rover.com/sit/brettg06694 (scroll down for bio). I'm your pet's new best friend! Well sort of. You come first! 6 years experience taking care of multiple pets. Administered medications and special feedings. I've watched furry, fluffy and feathery pets from dogs and cats to chickens, bunnies and even a rat! I pet sit full time so I'm at your plaxe most of the day. Likely, I'll leave to workout, run errands, see friends but I will let you know if there's a particularly busy day and we'll discuss so you feel comfortable knowing your pet(s) is still being taken care of. Plenty of time to stay at your place overnight, teach fitness or clean a house then come back for quality time with your fur family. I DO NOT PROVIDE HOUSING AT MY HOME. I will gladly come to your residence and even stay overnight for your pets to alleviate any anxiety and make you and your family feel safe and at ease. References upon request. My business operates mainly by word of mouth. As of May 2021, I've worked full time as a pet sitter. To put it in perspective, I'm house/pet sitting 300/365 days of the year. Please check availability as my pet sitting schedule fills up quickly.

About: I have been in the animal care business for the last 10 years. I personally have a very loved dog that I have cared for, for the last 11 years. On top of caring for my family’s pets over the last 16 years. I work full-time with several days working from home. I know how important an animals schedule is and would do everything to maintain that so the pet’s routine is not affected. My dog and kitten get everything the want and everything I think they need 🤣. Leaving your animal in the trust of me would guarantee that the things you want done for your family are completed. These can include walks, playing with certain toys, or the use of certain leashes or collars.

About: Hello, my name is Jordan. I am a pet sitter based in Mount Orab, Ohio! I have 4 cats and a little Chiweenie Puggle with my boyfriend. I often take care of strays around the neighborhood and have even taken in a few. I work to advocate for those who don't have a voice. I enjoy walking in the outdoors! Perfect for your little pup full of energy. I have always had a passion for animals since I was little, accumulating a lot of pet care experience under my belt with smaller animals over the course of a decade. I always treat every furbaby as if they are my own. I cannot wait to meet yours, they will have my full heart and attention! Always up to answer those questions and concerns, you can rely on me to be there for you and your dog. I tend to specialize in small dogs and other small animals. I have a fairly flexible schedule due to working for myself currently, making plenty of time for your pet throughout the week Monday through Sunday as well as most holidays! I care for the pets in and around my home by feeding with set schedules, cleaning up any messes created, scooping litterboxes everyday, cleaning food bowls, walking my dog multiple times throughout the day, crating my dog at night, as well as keeping them enriched and entertained!

About: As your pet's second best friend, I offer tailored care, genuine love, and a paw-sitively unforgettable experience! I am well educated in dog training, ensuring they’re mentally and physically stimulated, to overall pet health. I take care of my dog to the fullest extent, your dog will be treated all the same as a new member of the pack! To ensure safety and health, we don’t play right after eating to avoid bloat, I am very conscious of heat on their paws when walking on different surfaces, I avoid rawhide treats and go with homemade or very natural treats instead, and those are just scratching the surface of do’s and don’ts! I keep a structured but flexible routine, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, exercise, and consistency. I prioritize walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and lots of playtime and enrichment. I’m home often and very intentional about making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your dog needs structure, cuddles, or high energy engagement, I adapt to their personality and routine to make their stay feel as close to home as possible! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a well-socialized dog, Dilo, who has a background in working in high stress environments to not be reactive. Nonetheless, I always do slow introductions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If needed, I can crate or provide separate spaces for rest and decompression. Inside my home, I maintain a clean, structured environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I closely monitor interactions, follow feeding instructions carefully, and stick to your dog’s routine as closely as possible so they maintain some sense of routine while being away from home.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. From fun-filled walks and playtime to administering medications and providing attentive senior care, I tailor my approach to each dog’s unique needs. I’m also skilled in basic training and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. My passion for keeping dogs happy and healthy ensures they feel loved and cared for while you’re away. Daily Routine:     1.    Morning Care:     •    Start the day with a morning potty break for Tootsie, followed by her breakfast. Puppies often have high energy in the morning, so I set aside 15-20 minutes for a walk or playtime to help her burn off energy.     •    This ensures she’s settled while I begin my workday.     2.    Midday Break:     •    Working from home allows me to schedule a midday potty break and a short walk. This keeps Tootsie active and gives me a mental break from work.     3.    Afternoon Engagement:     •    I incorporate short play sessions between tasks to provide Toots with mental stimulation, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug, or a puzzle toy.     •    These breaks are timed to coincide with natural pauses in my workflow, helping me stay refreshed and productive.     4.    Evening Care:     •    I dedicate time for a longer walk or play session to meet her exercise needs.     •    Dinner and another potty break follow, ensuring she’s relaxed for the evening.     5.    Winding Down:     •    We end the day with cuddle time and one last potty break before bed, maintaining her routine and comfort. Weekly Routine:     •    Training Sessions: I include short, 5-10 minute training sessions daily to reinforce good behaviors and teach new commands.     •    Socialization: On weekends, I take my dog to a park or pet-friendly area to expose her to new environments, people, and other dogs.     •    Grooming and Maintenance: Weekly brushing keeps her long coat healthy, and I check her nails and ears regularly to prevent any issues.     •    House Cleaning: I allocate time to clean her bedding, toys, and the areas where she spends time to maintain hygiene. Working from home makes it easier to integrate these tasks naturally into my day. It ensures Tootsie’s needs are met while allowing me to balance work responsibilities effectively. When caring for pets in either my own home or a client's home, I prioritize safety by ensuring a secure environment, following their specific care instructions diligently, closely monitoring their behavior, and always keeping their well-being at the forefront, including providing proper food, water, exercise, and access to designated bathroom areas, while fostering a trusting relationship through consistent routines and gentle interactions. Key aspects of pet care, depending on the service offered: Basic Needs: Feeding: Providing the correct amount of their prescribed food at scheduled times, ensuring fresh water is always available. Waste Management: Regularly cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs outside for bathroom breaks, and proper disposal of waste. Exercise: Engaging in appropriate physical activity based on the pet's breed and needs, such as walks, playtime, or interactive toys. Safety Measures: Secure Environment: Checking for potential hazards like open doors, toxic substances, and securing areas that could be dangerous for the pet. Leash Supervision: Always using a leash when walking dogs outdoors in public areas. Medication Administration: Following strict instructions for administering any prescribed medications. Trust Building: Positive Reinforcement: Using positive training techniques and rewards to build a positive relationship. Gentle Handling: Respecting the pet's boundaries and comfort level, avoiding forceful actions. Communication: Maintaining open communication with the client regarding any concerns or changes in the pet's behavior.

About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and started pet sitting for neighbors at 12 years old. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and other small pets. I’ve volunteered walking dogs and caring for cats in animal shelters and am comfortable administering medications and caring for both young and senior pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of dependable care, communication, and maintaining your pet’s routine while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my routine. I work part-time at a café, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule for pet sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. Outside of work, I prioritize providing attentive care, exercise, enrichment, and companionship to the pets I care for. I communicate regularly with owners and do my best to maintain each pet’s normal routine while they’re away. My priority is always keeping pets safe, comfortable, and maintaining their normal routine. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and household rules. During visits, I make sure pets have secure access to appropriate areas, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I provide regular photo and video updates so owners can feel confident their pets are receiving excellent care while they are away. I am experienced with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians, and I adapt my care to each pet’s individual needs and personality.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Felicity. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Felicity.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Felicity. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
