I’m self-employed and mostly work from home which allows me to choose my schedule including when and where in the community I want to work. If caring for pets in my own home, I have a fenced in divided yard with lots of grass and room to roam. There is a dog door so they have complete access to the yard and I ensure they get out for a long walk at least once a day. Aside from that, the care is based on your needs and preferences.

I treat every dog like part of our family—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine since I homeschool and have a very flexible schedule. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of playtime and attention. Our days are calm, structured, and pet-friendly, so dogs are never left alone for long periods and can feel comfortable and included in a home environment. My daughter also enjoys helping with playtime and companionship, so pets get plenty of love and interaction throughout the day. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for pets. I have three very kind, dog-friendly dogs, and I always prioritize safe, positive introductions. If a client prefers, my dogs can be crated or kept separate to ensure their pet feels completely comfortable and secure. Pets in my care receive regular potty breaks, feeding according to their routine, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time, they’re rarely left alone and are closely supervised. For drop-in visits and dog walks, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions like medications or preferred walking routes. I take time to make pets feel comfortable, give them attention, and keep owners updated for peace of mind. My goal is always to provide dependable, loving care so pets feel safe and happy, whether they’re in my home or their own.
