About: Having grown up in a family that had five dogs at once, I've gained extensive experience in pet care. It has taught me the importance of patience and love when it comes to looking after our furry friends, young and old. Additionally, I've often helped out friends by letting their dogs out and spending time with them when needed. These experiences have helped to ensure that every dog in my care feels loved and well-cared for. I am currently working part-time this summer, but I can be sure to find time to help you out and make your fur baby’s day! I will make sure your dog is fed, walked, and given plenty of love and attention! If they need special care, such as dietary, mobility, emotional, senior dog care, etc. I will be happy to help!

I am capable of administering medication if applicable and friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, provide comfort, and overnight stays with their animals. About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! They have definitely taught me patience, how to deal with a semi-reactive dogs, and has made me confident in my ability to care for large breeds. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds, big and small, timid and reactive. I’m experienced in handling high energy dogs, young puppies who are still learning, and older dogs who need extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after cats, including those that needed help with medications and asthma treatment. Whether your pets like to walk and play or just need someone to hangout with while you’re gone, I can do it all. I will care for your beloved pets in your home and follow all your wants and needs! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m currently available any time Wednesday-Friday and on most Saturdays. I like to know all the details about your pets every day life so I can help keep their routines as normal as possible. Whether that includes certain times for feeding, walking, medications, etc. I also like to know if they are reactive, timid, or have any other quirks you want me to know about!

About: I’ve had many pets throughout my life! I’ve had dogs, cats, a bunny and a hedgehog! I’ve worked for an independent pet sitter before! I’ve taken a couple training classes with my own fur babies so I know a little bit about training. I’ve helped nurse kittens as well! I work M-F 8am-5/6pm & have weekends off. I do sometimes change my work schedule around for pet visits so I charge a cancellation fee for cancellations that are 2 days before. My own pets are kenneled throughout the day when no one is home. They go outside regularly about every 2 hours when someone is home. I feed them early morning & when I get home from work. We work through our training exercises daily! I take care of my clients pets however they have asked me to and treat them as if they are my own fur babies! Your pets will know nothing but love & fun when I’m with them!

About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I can play with them, pick up after them, bathe them and make sure they’re happy and well fed. And I can take the dog on short or long walks and make sure they’re happy and safe. Also for house sitting I’ll make sure the house is clean and any messes the dog makes is cleaned up as well I’m a student at an online university, but I am taking a break from perusing my BS in forensic accounting. So I have plenty of time to watch your pets. I have two dogs that I take care of with my family. I periodically watch pets for friends and family. Distance and time are very flexible most days. Let me know if you need assistance and I can find a way to make it work. Periodic walks are necessary for pets of all sizes and for humans as well. :) Favorite part of my day with my Pyrenees is long walks and sunshine.

As a groomer I am always continuing my canine education, especially related to safe dog handling. My goal in life is to meet all the pups! Being in a salon management position I do have a good amount of flexibility with my schedule. I will be available for drop-in visits and walks in the evenings and select day visits.
