While I will happily accept ALL dogs under 30lbs, I specialize in elderly pets/special needs pets who don't do well in boarding situations and need extra care throughout the day. I'm well-versed in administering oral medication, injections, and even subcutaneous fluids as needed. I am available 24hrs a day for potty breaks and medication routines. I am currently the only sitter in the western area of VA that is certified through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council, a 3rd party certification. This means they do not offer any classes or teaching, but only offer the test, which costs around $400. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food.
