Dog Walkers in Farley, IA

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. I also have experience raising a puppy from very young, so I understand reactiveity in dogs and have learned different ways to calm them down or pay special attention to them during moments of high reactivity ( like during walks) I am currently work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during my day that allows me to do side quests such as rover I have a fenced in yard and 1 dog who loves playing with other dogs! so your fur baby would have a best friend to play with during the day. I can also easily crate my or your dog

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was 10. I now have 2 dogs and 3 cats who live in a house full of love, fun and affection. They are spoiled rotten and take up most of my bed. I am a middle school teacher looking to make some extra money for the classroom. Over summer and school breaks I have complete availability including weekends While my house is not fit for adding any more animals. I am always available to spend nights and hours in the home with fur babies, I love to cuddle with all the animals on the couch, play in the yard with them, take them on walks and help with feeding. I have three crazy cats who fight over food and have to be fed in 3 separate rooms so I am no stranger to all sorts of environments especially around food.

About: I have cared for many pets since I was very young. I am experienced with even medically needy animals. Animals are my passion. Their love is unconditional and so is mine for them. I work a flexible schedule so I can work most anything work. Long trips, short trips, regular schedule. You name it I’ll make it work. Working in clients home is preferred over using my own home. Helping your pet to feel comfortable is my main priority and keeping their environment consistent will help that.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always had a big heart for all types of animals! I have rescued kittens and other animals since I was young, and there has never been a time in my life where I did not have a pet to care for. My full time job is only 2 days a week, so the rest of my time can be focused on your pet. I walk my own dogs daily and love to be outdoors, so there isn’t a request to far fetched! (Pun intended) Your preferences and concerns will always be the forefront of discussions on how I will care for your beloved fur baby. I’m willing to treat them as my own and no request is too much to ask, after all you are entrusting me with your best friend!

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for almost 3 years & will take care of them as they are my own. I love dogs of any age! I am a student in college, so I have a flexible schedule. I am free most days and would love to take care of your pet! I can easily crate your dog if needed and ensure that their needs are taken care of. About: I’m new to this site, but I have had the pleasure of owning several dogs. I have dealt with multiple dog personalities, so i'd say I have the knowledge to address many types of dogs. I am a very active person, so I would be glad to give your dog a workout. I look forward to seeing my furry counterparts! I am available to dog walk/ take care of pets during the week day, after 9 pm. On Friday and Saturday, I am able to pet sit. On Sunday, I am able to offer any service aside from pet sitting or pet boarding. I am able to feed, provide water, bathe, and walk pets. I am also able to brush pets, and play with them. If the pets come to my house, and the weather is not cooperating, I have space for them to safely and comfortably reside in.

About: I’ve had a dogs in my life, since I was a child, and was introduced to cats as I ventured into the collegiate life. As an adult I have cared for dogs primarily, but recently had the opportunity to take care of the sweetest cats! I am fairly patient with pets and like to give them as much space as they like to try to not mess up the routines, but if they are balls of energy and cuddle bugs, I am more than happy to comply! I believe that walks and healthy roaming space is good for a dog’s, development and energy, and respecting a cat to make the first move to ensure respect and comfort to their environment. Hi! I’m a full-time high school interpreter and a lifelong animal lover. During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets! I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was a little girl. We always had animals in our house & I have been a pet sitter for many years. I have experience with dogs, cats, lizards, fish, & smaller animals like hamsters. I love animals of every kind & having many of my own, I understand how important it is to trust who is taking care of your pets. I am currently working full time but my schedule is very flexible so I am able to move things around to accommodate when it is needed. Having pets of my own, I understand different tasks are needed. My services are walks, feeding, watering, letting outside, cleaning up after pets, baths, and pretty much anything needed!

About: I have taken care of my brothers dog who is 8 years old (Rottweiler/Lab 70lbs) for almost three years now. And once in a while I watch over my sisters dog who is a 2 year old American bulldog. I’ve taught my my brothers Rottweiler how to stay, sit. He is a very needy dog but I’ve learned to be patient. I taught my sister puppy to sit, give me his paw and leave it. Doggies can be so energetic but that’s the fun part. I’m currently working overnights (10pm/6am). And my mornings/ evenings are pretty flexible. The only days I wouldn’t be able to be free is on Tuesdays evening. At my apartment building we have a fenced yard made for pets if needed. Otherwise my apartment is pet free and your pet is safe. I can also watch them at your place if needed.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm so I’ve been around animals my whole life, where my passion for animals began. Growing up we had a family dog, yellow lab named Ryley. In 2016 I got my first blue heeler named Creek. Then last year I added my second blue heeler / border collie mix named Gator. My dogs are my life. My sister also has 3 dogs of her own and together you’ll see in my pictures that my sister and I are both very active with our dogs! I love training my dogs , going for walks/hikes, and doing dog sports with them. I’d love to help your pets by taking them for walks and getting some cute pictures of them for you! Photography is a side hobby of mine as well! I currently work part time to full time in Madison. I have flexibility with my schedule during the week days and would love to be able to help get your pups a good walk / enrichment in throughout the day! I would ensure to walk your dogs however you prefer with collar/ leash or harness / leash combo. My dogs do well with their collars/leash during controlled city walking and use harness during hikes.
