“Karen did a great job with my two cats while I was on a work trip. She took care of them every day as agreed upon and was very respectful of my space and around letting the cats warm up to her on their own schedule. She sent great photos and videos to give me an idea of how they were doing, and when I returned home everything was exactly as I had expected. I would highly recommend Karen's services!”

About: My name is Melissa, and I am a Pet Photographer, Animal Shelter Volunteer and Pet Mom! I have always had pets and I love all things fur and feather. I volunteer with local animal shelters and even provide professional photography services for abandoned pets in-shelter to assist with adoption and rescue. I understand the need for compassionate, yet affordable pet sitting services. This is why my base rate includes services for up to 3 pets before additional pet fees are charged. i am not limited on the type of pet I will care for and the three pets can be a combination of different species. Basic Canine Pet Care includes feedings, water and outdoor playtime and companionship. Basic Feline Services include feeding, water, litter box cleaning and gentle pets (if the King or Queen so desires). I can administer oral medication for no additional fee. Injections can be discussed during an in-person visit. I own a photography studio in Aransas Pass, The Empty Kennel Portrait Studio. Pet sitting fills my schedule between sessions, providing a well-rounded work-day experience. My visits will include a check-in text when I arrive, during our visit and when I depart the home. Your pet will be fed according to their feeding schedule, and we will engage in playtime. I will also assess your pet's behavior during our visit to ensure they are adjusting well to your absence. You will be advised of any abnormal behavior or potential medical concerns immediately. A walk-thru of the home is also conducted to look for any "accidents" such as feces, urine or damaged property. I also check your thermostat to ensure the home's central air unit is operating properly. I do offer pet walking and plant watering services, as an add-on to my basic pet sitting services. Upon departure, all entry doors are secured and double-checked to ensure they are locked.

“Paityn is a passionate and dedicated animal lover! We have trusted her with our fur babies on numerous occasions with no issues at all. She has given them their medications while we were out of town ensuring they were let out and fed and watered daily! Her passion for animals has led her to pursing a degree in animal science in hopes of earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M in College Station starting this fall. Highly recommend!”

Karissa W.
“I have known Karissa for several years. My husband and I travel a lot and she house sits for me and cares for our 12 year old dog, Ellie, a Blue Tick Coonhound and our outdoor cat. She is amazing person and brings her pet therapy dog, Whiskey, with her when she can. Ellie loves to play with Whiskey. Karissa knows dogs and understands their needs. Ellie enjoys having Karissa care for her while we’re gone.”

Tammy E.
“Tammy was amazing with my two dogs, elderly cat, ferrets, and bearded dragons. From day one she was prompt with getting back with me and even came two times for a visit before we left on our trip to ensure we felt comfortable. I knew my babies were in good hands when they would jump for joy at the sight of her at the door. While we were gone, Tammy had to feed and walk both dogs daily, administer medication to our fourteen year old cat, in addition to playing with both ferrets and taking good care of the bearded dragons. With as many pets as we have at home, I know this was not an easy job; but Tammy did it with ease and was amazing enough to send us daily pictures of our babies while we were away. Tammy is an animal magnet, all of our animals feel so loved in her presence. I would highly recommend Tammy Eblen for any animal/home care position, they will not regret it!”
