About: Peace of mind pet care! Hi there! I'm Noelle! I'm a 35 year old animal enthusiast. I have years of personal experience being a dog and cat guardian. I have also worked with animals in a retail setting and a shelter setting. I bring to the table knowledge of pet behavior, basic care, food, toys, treats, health and wellness products, accessories, and more (a little of everything). I believe all pets are family members and will treat them as though they were my own. I will try my best to accommodate any special needs or requests you may have. I'm always receptive to questions or concerns so feel free to ask! I'm trying to earn money to help support my furry family by spending some time with yours! I look forward to making some new fur friends! Please allow enough time before your furbaby is under my care for a Meet and Greet. I will not accept service requests without a proper meeting! I want to confirm your baby, my babies, and myself will be safe and comfortable during our interactions! Don't hesitate to ask me questions if your booking falls outside my normal availability. I will do my best to make your needs work with my schedule! I am Fully Insured and Bonded through BIC and a member of NAPPS since 2026! Currently trying to make this my main kibbles and bits! I take clients on all days of the week and am NOT an early riser! Afternoons and evenings are perfect! However, I'll consider any request and try to make it work! I am hypervigilant with my own furbabies and will be with yours as well! Potty time will always be supervised (if you have a fence) and a leash is a must for walks! I will stay by their side the whole visit!
“Madison did great with my cat and dog. She was very professional and friendly, and they both took to her right away when she came over for a pre-trip meet. She was also punctual and polite and always uploaded pictures when she came by for the feed/walk. I will definitely be a repeat customer of hers.”

About: I've grown up with no less than 2 dogs at a time. Now I have 3 of my own and I am looking to open my home and offer my services since I am home full time!! We are always outside playing, going for walks and experiencing nature!! I would love to have the opportunity to care for other peoples animals!! The passion I have for animals could definitely be of use to many :) Let me know how I can help!! I work from home and I’m able to constantly care for my 3 pups. The more the merrier! I get up early and run the pups, feed them and let them sunbathe out back. Pets are allowed on our furniture and are treated as the family that they are. I have a fully fenced in yard, plenty of toys and puppy friends to keep your babe occupied and having the time of their lives! My dogs also have their own crates if our visitor is uneasy around our dogs.
“Kora is an excellent sitter for our dog, Ginny. She is always willing to stay longer to provide comfort to our pup, send photos, and keep me updated. I’ve used Kora each time we’ve gone away for the last 2 years and she is just wonderful. This past trip we took she noticed dishes in our sink and did them. It wasn’t even necessary but she went the extra mile to provide incredible service. We feel so confident leaving our pup home, as we can’t board her due to her anxieties around other animals, and we are able to enjoy our trip. She is always available even last minute and she is dependable. Recommend Kora 100x over!”

I can pick up mail and water plants if needed. I do not mind the age of the animal. I love cats, birds and fishes too! Open to meeting new animals of all kind. I have my own transportation. Gentle Care, True Service. How can I help? I work from home so my work schedule is pretty flexible if I can work from the persons home. I only care for pets in their own home. About: I’ve checked in on multiple pets before. Friends and my own family and relatives message me to come in, walk their dog, feed and give them water, and keep them company for a while! I love pets so when I found out I could get paid for it, I was astounded! I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, with tender love and care. I am a working college student at the moment, so I would be working part time. I would make time for my clients though, especially how I often have time in between my classes and I also have time after school during the week and on weekends. While I currently do not offer pets in my home, I will respect your home by keeping it clean and untouched by the time I leave. Now I will keep your pet company if that is the service you’d like and by doing so, we might empty their toys on the ground and play for a bit. That being said, it will be cleaned up and so will messes made by their food or water before I leave the house as well.

About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. About: Since the day I was born I’ve always had a dog around to take care of. He was my entire world, always treated him like my baby. My Grandparents also had two cats that I would take care from time to time. I just moved from Orlando Florida back to Laflin pa where I originally grew up and I’m currently a middle school teacher in Wilkes Barre I unfortunately do not offer boarding but I have no problem hanging out with furry friends in the comfort their own home! I’m very neat and ALWAYS treat a clients home with respect.
About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. If you think I’d be a good fit for your fur baby or have any questions or concerns, I’m here to answer them all and hope you will consider me to take care of your pet. I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. Check my calendar for the most up to date availability, please 😌 House sitting: Provide overnight care, 24/7 care, other responsibilities to care for your home while you are away (watering plants, picking up mail, cleaning, etc.) Always love to send picture and video updates 2-3x/a day of your furry one to ensure you are comfortable and know that your animal is well cared for and happy in my care!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
