About: I've had a passion for caring for animals since I was just 10 years old, and that passion led me to work at a veterinarian office from ages 16 to 20. During my time there, I gained invaluable experience in nurturing animals from the earliest stages of life to their golden years. I became proficient in administering various medications for both cats and dogs, and I also honed my skills in animal training, successfully teaching my own dog over 15 impressive tricks. Currently, I'm fortunate to be working from home, which allows me the flexibility to dedicate ample time to caring for animals. My schedule is wide open, making it easy to accommodate the needs of furry friends. However, I want to give you a heads up that I'll be taking a brief hiatus during the first two weeks of June. When caring for pets, whether in my own home or at a client's place, I prioritize making them feel as loved and comfortable as possible. I treat them as if they were my own, ensuring they feel at ease in my care. This means spending quality time playing with them, providing treats, and showering them with affection to reassure them in the absence of their owner.

About: I am from Colombia and there I had the opportunity to work with him, in a family veterinarian where I learned a lot. Here in the United States I have been taking care of dogs and cats at home several times. It is important, since animals are part of my life and always will be, I also dream of one day having the money to be able to give a good life to several animals that currently live in a shelter. I keep them company, I sing to them, I play with them, I walk them, when they sleep in my house I always make them comfortable and I am aware of all their behavior, especially because I know they miss their owners.

About: I have lots of pets, including 3 big dogs and 1 pit bull, and I also rescue and foster cats. I volunteered at APS for 1 year, where I walked dogs, learned how to handle big dogs in a very stressful environment for them, and learned how to care for certain pet medical needs(such as worms). My home has become essentially an animal sanctuary for cats! I never leave a cat stranded and always take it to the vet right away to address any medical treatment needed! I am good with handling all size dogs but I typically prefer to work with medium-small dogs, and I'm great with handling cats! I'm working a part time job right now but my schedule is pretty leniant! Mornings, night, and midday are all times I'm available to work! Although I mostly would like to do drop-ins, I'm fully able to do house sitting as well as long as the times are communicated a few days in advance! At home I make sure all my pets are fed according to the time that they need, many people have different feeding schedules and I'm able to cater to any of the pets needs. For dogs making sure you keep eyes on them at all times especially when outdoors. Making sure all doors leading to outside are shut, or pet is fully secured before a door is opened. Paying attention to warning signs of distress in an animal is very key. Whether they are having a physical reaction to something or it appears more emotional, having a close eye on the pet assures that they are getting the help they need at all times. And of course lots of loving and play with the animals if that's what the owner recommends! I understand that not all animals are playful or affectionate, but for the ones that are its definitely good to take a little extra time out of the day for some belly rubs!

About: I’ve taken care of a golden retriever puppy. Love animals of all kind. Love looking after dogs and they are definitely one of my favorites I’m currently working at a part time job on Sundays but I’m rlly just looking for ways to make money and I love animals what better way to do it then taking care of animals here I have 2 enclosures for my 2 reptiles. My savannah monitor is in a 4 x 2 x 2 and my boa constrictor is in a aquarium. And I also take care of my aunts golden retriever when I visit.

“10/10 would recommend Avery for your Rover! I work long hours with a changing schedule, and Avery has always been flexible and able to work with my schedule. She takes my pup on excellent walks around my neighborhood or on days when he’d rather stay inside, gives him attention and play time. She feeds him when it’s a visit over dinner time, and is very attentive to his behavior and activity. I really appreciate her superb communication, in terms of responding through the app and updating me with anything that seems off with him (has been the first to update me on 2 changes in behavior with my dog, which was very helpful). I am so grateful to have found Avery as my rover and would recommend her to anyone!”

Cameron J.
“Cameron has the natural ability to put cats and dogs at ease around her. I have seen first hand where they will seek her out by going to places they think she will be. If she is not there they will wander looking for her. Her dog Molly will wait patiently for her return and will sense she has returned and greet her waiting for her to open the door. When she calls them by name they will come to her. Everyone does not have the natural ability to connect with animals like that.”
