“Megan is so great with our two Great Danes. She always makes sure to update us with pictures and what the dogs get up to. She has really helped us out and is so flexible with scheduling which I sincerely appreciate. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Morgan was fantastic! We decided to try Rover for the first time after moving and were hesitant. Morgan stopped by before we left town to meet the animals and they loved her. We felt like we were leaving our dog and cat in good hands. She was prompt for the scheduled check in times and went above and beyond. Next time we go out of town we will definitely use Morgan again!”

“Cassie was great! We needed a sitter with sort notice and she was happy to help us. Our GSDs are a little particular but they warmed up to her quickly. She had great communication and we felt our dogs were being well taken care of.”

“Kristina was excellent with our pups!! She communicated very well with us throughout the entire 5 day drop-ins and she sent plenty of pictures! She was very patient with our dogs and followed all of our instructions. She went above and beyond at some points to make sure our pups were comfortable. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her services to anyone who needs her to take care of their fur babies!!”

“Lauren was the absolute BEST. This was our first time leaving the cats home alone instead of boarding them and Lauren made the experience incredible. She met with us prior to leaving to meet us/the cats and get all necessary info. Then once we left she kept us continually updated with photos, videos, and visit summaries! It was so comforting to get an update with photos each day to remind us that our little guys were in good hands. She played with them, gave them special treats, spoiled them with love and attention, and made sure they had everything they needed until we returned! So thankful for everything she did. Thanks, Lauren!! Pal and Pippin miss you already!”

About: Growing up, I had plenty of cats and dogs, both trained and untrained. I treat fur babies like literal humans, they deserve it. I love to cuddle with animals, play outside, or just be lazy together. I work for myself so I make my own schedule. Therefore, it isn’t hard for me to make arrangements to keep a pet or go and hangout. I have no fur babies as of now (mine recently passed) so you won’t have to worry about your pet being in a fight or hurt by the paws of any animal of mine. My home is on an acre of land with only one neighbor. I have a screened in back porch if the animal loves to sunbathe. I make it a priority to learn any pet I encounter.

Dogs have access to a fenced-in patio with pet turf and can enjoy walks or trips to the nearby dog park if approved by their owner. Cats are provided with a quiet, comfortable space, fresh water, clean litter boxes, and enrichment activities tailored to their personality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. My priority is always making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
