About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 2 husky mixes and 3 cats in my childhood home and I currently have 1 cattle dog and 2 cats. I also had the pleasure of house sitting for a few families consistently while they were away on vacations. I work early mornings so I have plenty of the daylight to spend time with your dogs! I’m available after 1pm to do daily walks, checks ins, and will have hours available for boarding. I have a fully fenced in yard and a 2 year old cattle dog that loves to make friends and play but also understands boundaries. I have a cat as well but I have a two story house so she can be separated from your dog if need be! I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. I am very flexible and accommodating to whatever your fur baby needs to feel comfortable and safe.

I make sure each furry guest feels comfortable and secure from the moment they arrive. There’s always fresh water available, cozy spots for napping, and plenty of supervised playtime indoors and out. “Lucy loved the stay at Don’s house. He was very accommodating to our energetic pup who loved to run in his fenced back yard. We received photos and updates throughout the stay that showed Lucy was being loved and cared for the same as if she were at home. When I picked Lucy up she was excited to see me but was not anxious to leave lol!! I would highly recommend Don and his adorable dog Billie to anyone looking for a caring, responsible pet sitter. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
