“Callie is such a thoughtful and kind human being. She took care of my elderly kitty while I was away for the weekend. Her care set my mind at ease so I could thoroughly enjoy my time away.”

About: Hi there! I’m currently a veterinary assistant with three years of hands-on experience, and caring for animals truly brings me joy. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and have lots of fun while in my care—whether that means going for a hike, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch (if that’s okay with you!). I’m very comfortable administering medications and supporting any extra medical needs your pet may have, thanks to my background in veterinary care. In our home, we have one friendly pup who loves meeting new furry friends. I’m also a nursing student, but my classes are only a few hours a day, so I’m home most of the time and available to give your pets plenty of attention and affection. I’m happy to keep you updated with as many photos and messages as you’d like—it’s important to me that you feel completely at ease while your pets are with me. Let’s work together to create a warm, safe space where your pets can feel right at home! I have class a few times a week, but very much spend a majority of my time at home, there are quite a few weeks I’m also available! When they are at my home whether for daycare or boarding I take my dog on a 1.5-3 mile walk through our quiet town of Courtland. If weather permits I like to go to Flandrau or Fort Ridgley state park if your dog would enjoy that! I also have a backyard that I would be happy to play fetch in with your pets as well!

“This was our first time using Nicole! She came for a Meet & Greet, went above and beyond for our Critters! This is the first time using a Critter Sitter that we arrived home, and our dogs were CALM! They ran over to us like we had been at the store, not gone for days! I would recommend her 100%”

About: Ever since I was a little girl I have had a dog in my life! I have grown up with Labrador retrievers and currently have my own black lab! I value giving a dog the best life you possibly can. Whether that’s spending time outside, taking them on adventures, or anything active! I hope to bring that same excitement and love when caring for your precious pup:) Often times I am around on weekends and would be willing to walk or check in on your four legged baby! Evenings during the work week would work as well. When it comes to caring for dogs, I value giving them my full attention. From the moment I meet them I want to make sure we are getting outside and being active. I find so much joy in making sure their cup is filled whether that’s us hanging out or going on long walks:)

About: For over 38 years, I have had animals from cats, dogs, and pigs. I have a dedicated love and passion for animals; everything from walks to cuddles to playtime and treats. I'll make sure your fur babies feel loved, happy, and healthy. I am reliable and compassionate and excited to take care of your babies while you are away. I work in the cities and have a flexible schedule. I will ensure proper and adequate exercise and attention is given to ensure your babies feel loved and attended to during the day. My priority is to ensure the safety so I will first check for fencing and leashing preferences of the family to ensure we are safe. I’ll also seek to understand all relevant home rules as they relate to pets and preferences.

About: When I come to your place, your rules apply! I can maintain schedules and normal activity for dogs, cats, horses and other livestock - you name it. I've done house and farm sitting since I was in college, and can provide references! Drop in visits and dog walking, depending on location, can be before I go to work, on my lunch break and after work in the evening. I grew up on a farm, and have been around animals my entire life. I understand animal behaviors (including those pesky "testing" tricks) and do my best to have a positive interaction with every animal I meet. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Meet & greet appointments are required for every animal for safety reasons.

“I can't say enough good things about Ashley! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals, big and small. My dogs and cats took to to her immediately, which was a huge relief while we were away, knowing they were in the best hands! While I was away, Ashley went above and beyond—sending regular updates, photos, and even little notes about their behaviors, meals, and playtime. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my fur babies were not just being cared for, but truly loved. Ashley also went above and beyond to make sure my home was taken care of, as some unexpected issues came up with the AC unit over the long weekend - she should really add "junior HVAC mechanic" to her profile! ;) When I came home, the house was in order as we left it and my pets were calm, happy, and clearly well looked after. It’s such a relief to know I have someone I can completely trust with my pets and my home. If you're looking for someone dependable, loving, and responsible—look no further. Ashley is a true gem. I’ll definitely be booking with Ashley again!”

About: I am home FULL TIME, semi-retired remotely employed, your dogs will NEVER be left alone in my care. I have had 2-3 rescue dogs under my care for the last 20 years. I work remotely, am semi-retired, and in an emergency Fairfax has a local Vet Clinic 4 blocks away. I am always home and your pup will be safely cared for. I have a 5' chain link fenced area with privacy material, less stress on dogs, NEVER left outside. Your pup will go out my kitchen door through attached garage to the fenced area. There is a new Vet in Fairfax, 4 blocks away in an emergency situation. I DO NOT smoke, DO NOT drink, have an extremely well-cared for home and know it is difficult to travel or take day trips especially if you do NOT want to board your pet risking illness or injuries. Boarding facilities can cause kennel cough, terror and dogs feeling abandoned.
